is there any way to purchase a Care+ insurance although more than 30 days have passed since the purchase of the iPhone???
I couldn't find anything regarding this topic..

If you're having problems with the App Store you might try this:
1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:

2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:

What happens after the 90 days free trial period of Creative Cloud?

I just wanted to access a free trial Version of InDesign as I didn't have access to my computer with all the Adobe programs back home, but then I ended up (without beeing noticed properly) in the free Creative Cloud test period. Now I'm wondering, what happens after the 90 days, because I can't find any option to delete my Adobe-ID from the Creative Cloud.
I'm not interested in the paid version of Creative Cloud. How can I delete the connection of my Adobe-ID to Creative Cloud?

The free trial is for 30 days, not 90. Just do not want you to be suprised on day 31. And as Cozmicone said a dialog will appear telling you the trial is over and you will no longer be able to run InDesign.

The other day I purchased backup for my phone because I need 2.9GB TO INSTAL ios7. Needless to say I didn't need to do so, I want to cancel the storage upgrade that cost $40. Please refund my checking account

The other day I got a update for ios7. Tried to download and it said I didn't have enough GB. So I saw I could purchase memory for $40. After purchase I noticed that it only pertain to the iCloud . Didn't do me any good. So I would like to cancel my recent purchase for memory ($40). I was not smart enough to know that the iCloud memory upgrade didn't help for my recent update to ios7

You aren't addressing Apple here. This is a user to user support forum. You can get a refund for the storag upgrade within 15 days by calling the Apple online store. In the U.S. call 1-800-MY-APPLE.

If I choose not to continue using creative cloud after the 30 day trial

I downloaded the 30 day trial of creative cloud and I'm concerned that once it's over, or I choose not to use it, will I still be able to use my CS5? What happens to the existing CS5 files once I open them in creative cloud?, etc... A little nervous about the repercussions.

Anyway to Exchange Your Phone after the 14 Day Grace Period but under 30 Days.

I bought my phone on the 2nd of this month so it has been 20 days under 30. I wasnt sure if the HTC One was ever going to come out as it has been pushed back since July. I would like to exchange my phone, has anyone been able to do this in the past? If so, how?

You can only exchange the phone during the 14 day worry free guarantee period. The only devices I know of that have an exception are iphones purchased directly through apple then they get a 30 day period.
You could add another line to your account for the HTC One when it's released or pay full retail for it.

Insurance after the 30 days of activation?

I hope someone has the answer to this. I am past the 30 days of activation as far as insurance goes. I now want to add it but can't figure out how to do that since all of the plans request that its within 30 days. Help!!

Many times, your device is also covered through your homeowner's insurance, or renter's insurance as well. Therefore, you can also contact your insurance agent to get information and coverage details. (To see if your wireless device is covered or if it can be covered.)
Lastly, if you purchased the device with a credit card, you may also be covered through the credit card company if something happens to the device. Again, this is something you would need to research through your credit card company, but it is a possibility.

Hard disk failure after just six days of purchase

I purchased a dv6-3093ca from Costco just six days ago, and the laptop completely froze up on me. I had to force shut down by holding down the power key. Afterwards the laptop was never able to restart Windows again (freezes at the welcome screen, and the system repair does nothing). I did a system diagnostics test and it passed every test except hard disk, which it failed.
Does anyone know how I can fish my files out of this? I didn't even have time to backup yet, because I figured a computer should at least survive for a couple of weeks before needing a backup...
This is completely unacceptable, because not only is the laptop top tier in terms of specs, it's actually one of the most expensive Pavilions as well. A brand new $1k computer broke down in just six days? I was merely running Firefox + MS Word + MSN at the time. Is there any fix for this (in case something like chkdsk works)? If not I guess I'll have to return it...

Come to think of it I'm not that surprised this happened now. I own three HP laptops (relatives bought the other two). One laptop basically could not be used for a long time with Vista, kept freezing for no reason, found it later it was another hardware problem. The more recent one's hard drive broke in just six days due to overheating, thanks to some idiot's design of cramming an i7 + 6GB RAM into a poorly designed system. The moronic "tech support"'s answer was "we will provide an exchange for you, after we send you a cardboard box, you send us the laptop, we fool around with it, then give you another hard drive when we feel like it, and by "when we feel like it", we mean either 2 weeks or 2 months". Yes it takes a lot of tech knowledge to come up with that kind of solution, and it took him an entire half an hour to type that into the computer as well. Waiting two weeks for an exchange that might break again? Lol like any person with a normal mind would do that. Returned it for a full refund right now and never touching another crappy HP product again. You fail at creating laptops HP, and what's even worse is that you fail at customer service as well.

Creating an IDoc Segment WE31:
The segment defines the structure of the records in an IDoc. They are defined with transaction WE31.
We will define a structure to send a text from the text database.
Transaction WE31 calls the IDoc segment editor. The editor defines the fields of a
single segment structure. The thus defined IDoc segment is then created as a data
dictionary structure. You can view the created structure with SE11 and use it in an
ABAP as any TABLES declaration.
To demonstrate the use of the IDoc segment editor we will set up an example, which
allows you to send a single text from the text pool (tables STXH and STXL) as an
IDoc. These are the texts that you can see with SO10 or edit from within many
applications.
We will show the steps to define an IDoc segment YAXX_THEAD with the DDic
structure of THEAD.
To facilitate our work, we will use the "copy-from-template-tool", which reads the
definition of a DDIC structure and inserts the field and the matching definitions as
rows in the IDoc editor. You could, of course, define the structure completely
manually, but using the template makes it easier.
The tool in release 4.0b lets you use both DDIC structures or another IDoc segment
definition as a template.
The thus created structure can be edited any time. When saving, it will create a data
dictionary structure based on the definition in WE31. The DDIC structure will retain
the same name. You can view the structure as a table definition with SE11 and use it
in an ABAP the same way.
Defining the Message Type (EDMSG)
The message type defines the context under which an IDoc is transferred to its destination. It allows for using the same IDoc file format for several different applications.
Imagine the situation of sending a purchase order to a supplier. When the IDoc with
the purchase order reaches the supplier, it will be interpreted as a sales order
received from a customer, namely you.
Simultaneously you want to send the IDoc data to the supplier's warehouse to inform
it that a purchase order has been issued and is on the way.
Both IDoc receivers will receive the same IDoc format; however, the IDoc will be
tagged with a different message type. While the IDoc to the supplier will be flagged
as a purchase order (in SAP R/3 standard: message type = ORDERS), the same IDoc
sent to the warehouse should be flagged differently, so that the warehouse can
recognize the order as a mere informational copy and process it differently than a
true purchase order.
The message type together with the IDoc type determine the processing function.
The message types are stored in table EDMSG.

NMH405 Impressions after the first days - and a few beginners type questions

Hi All, After some research I took the plunge and acquired a new NMH405 (I really would have liked the non existing "NMH400" i.e. no drives). I removed the 500GB drive and added two new 1.5TB WD Green Caviar Drives and set it up as Raid-1 After a few error messages and waiting for a very long time while the drives resynched I manage to get it online as z-drive to my vista system.  I played around with the built-in backup tool (I like it!). I tried the builtin player after having placed some of my iTunes albums on the media hub and decided that I did not really like that option to much. I then simply moved my itunes libraries to the MediaHub and used the iTunes application on Vista as a front end. That works very nice.
I have a few questions, probably showing my limited knowledge of network attached drives.
Q1. Are there any other way to power off the device than pressing the little bottom on the NMH405 (aka my NMH415!)? When powered off I assume the only other way to power it on is via the bottom again?
Q2. I have noticed the device is offline for ages after having either recycled Windows Vista or the hub itself. Why is that? And what can I do to bring it online in a orderly fashion? There must be a way to get that ugly red crossed NAS showing as green and online as a z-drive in "My Computer" a lot faster.
Q3. I reformatted the 500GB drive that the box came with, added it to Disk enclosure box and attached the USB to the front of the NMH405, after a while it said on the front panel that it had detected the drive and asker whether I wanted to import the content.  I declined that (partly because it was empty!). Now how do I access this drive? I would like to (occasionally) use it to back up files from my Raid-1 setup (you newer know what could happen there...). How do I use this USB attached drive? Also i noticed it did not show up in "My Computer" - actually "Computer" in windows? Adding it directly to my windows system it is detected instantly?
Thanks for any pointers or answers to enhance my user experience. I am still learning here.

Q1. Your correct, there's only one button at the front for powering on/off. There is though an option to reboot the device inside the web interface thru the configuration > system option.
Q2. It really depends on how fast your network can establish a connection, a mapped network drive is fine but I noticed that it slows down the bootup or login process when you turn on the PC. What I did was just create a shortcut on the desktop (location \\nmh410\media) which points to my mediahub and did not map the mediahub anymore to drive z.
Q3. If its a fresh 500gb drive with nothin on it yet, then you would need to create a partition on it first by connecting the external USB drive directly to the PC. Check out this article from Microsoft about partitioning. I think an external USB drive icon will not show up on the PC since the external USB drive is plugged in onto the mediahub USB port. To gain access to that external USB drive which is plugged in onto the mediahub USB port, I just create a shortcut to \\nmh410\media\device . For backup you can use the NTI backup software that came with your mediahub.

Quit the Facebook app then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

HT201317 Can my photos be retrieved once deleted after the 30 days?

I had to reset my phone yesterday and lost majority of the photos that were in my photostream for the past few months? Is there any way I can retrieve the photos?

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last thirty days. Your devices may keep them longer, but you will only get the last thirty days worth if you turn photostream off and on again on a device.

NO! its a DEAD PIXEL ON THE 1ST DAY OF PURCHASE!!!...

Hey all,
i have bought my black 80GB iPod Classic and fiddled aroun with it for about 2 hrs . i was watching a movie when a suddenly a glowing dead (Red) pixel appered on the top of my screen (Middle-left side)
anyone having same problem or can someone tell me how to fix this problem? (The pixel disappears when i leave it offf for a few mins but it re-appears.

there are also alternative ways to heal it, like a movie which flashes different colours to make the pixel work again, but no guarantee that it will last long. just return it as it is a new device.

Purchasing Apple Care after original warrantee expires?

Is there any possability to purchase Apple Care after the original 1 year warrantee expires? (mine expired in October 2005)

Unfortunately the AppleCare Protection Plan is only available for purchase WITHIN the first year of ownership.
EDIT: An alternative may be to purchase an insurance policy - or you may be able to find a third-party extended warranty scheme.
