Hi. My brother bought his iphone 4 brand new. After a year he upgraded to a Samsung 4 Mini but after a few months decided he preferred the iphone. When he put his sim card back into the iphone it wouldn't work and he brought it to the Carphone Warehouse who say its stolen yet it's only owner has been my brother and it was never reported as stolen. Anybody experienced this before?

Same problem here. I bought an iPhone 4 off eBay because I didn't want to sign a new contract with AT&T. The phone's screen was broken, but I was able to replace that no problem and replaced the battery as well. Phone worked great for about 2 weeks, then one day wouldn't charge. Tried several chargers and cables, nothing worked. Hard reset didn't work either. Nor did cleaning the dock connector with contact cleaner.
The only thing that worked was doing a software restore in iTunes (essentially re-install iOS 5.0.1). I also installed the BatteryDoctor app and that got the phone charged to 100% no problem, but the next day I was back to square one. At this point the battery is essentially stuck at zero and the phone won't even power on.

If the device has the same Apple ID signed onto the iTunes & App Store, then you can download any apps purchased under that Apple ID to that device.
I thought you were asking about a game and game statistics being shared between two devices with two separate players. What I said about that is that if it is under the same ID, then the game is going to have the same statistics on both devices, and any updates to those would be reflected in both places. So, two different players wouldn't be able to have separeate statistics if they were playing under the same Apple ID.

One problem though, the top button on my phone is jammed so i cant power off the phone, anyway of resetting the phone without using the top button ?

My iPhone continually shows me an Invalid SIM message or SIM Failure. If I switch my phone off and then back on it works ok for a maximum of 10 mins, and then I get the same message appearing. How can I resolve it?

1). Are you positive the phone is not locked? Where did you buy it? Did you get it unlocked from your original carrier? Only Apple sells unlocked phones in most countries.
2). Did you try with a diffrent SIM. MAybe the one you have is defective.
3). Does the Spnaish carrier you are using support the iPhone? Who told you it is a handset issue?

I have also noticed all my settings won't stay set, example....I removed the check mark from "third party cookies", the when I close Firefox and reopen the check mark is back, also my tool bar has screwed up....can't reset, been having trouble the up grade.

If you didn't set up Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings, then you can't. Notify the police and change the password to your Apple ID and any other online services you used from that iPhone, just as a precaution.

What version of iTunes are you using? The error you references seems to be connected with iTunes 9.0.4. That version of iTunes is not compatible with iOS 6. You need to update to the current version of iTunes.

Did you try the solution given, and if yes, did it work?
I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

That changes things a little bit , login to icloud.com and see if you can find it in your sent folder.
If it is there you did send, just need to wait until you phone syncs "sent folder" perhaps on wifi.
If it is not, then I would say it is lost and you may have to send again. They have 20 megs limit, so make sure that message plus attachment is under that limit.

Are you trying to print from iPhoto on your Mac or iPad/iPhone? If you are trying to print form yor Mac, check, if the Print Products Store in the iPhoto Preferences > Advanced is set to U.K.
Also the bimmling address, Delivery address, the country for your AppleID and Credit Card must all be in the same country. Check this document:
