Carrier network disappeared ?

Carrier disappeared ?

Did you try replacing your SIM card?
How about the basic troubleshooting steps recommended in the User Guide (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new)
How about Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network settings?

  • Problem with carrier network

I have a problem with mi iPhone 5s 64 Gb, time to time The carrier network still looking for network and some times it tooks until 2 minutes to find the net, im compare with friends to understand if this is a general problem with the carrier servíce but 1) some of them have the same phone without a problem using the same carrier, and 2) the must funny thing is that im working with the carrier company, so im really angry with this, i want to change my phone, i have images with the problem because this is really too much.
Are you going to help me? Or do i need to change mi phone!!!!!!!

    This is just annoying!
Same thing in Germany! Updated my Iphone 6 (128gb) to Ios 8.0.1 late in the evening. Couldn´t restore it because of the traffic on Apple´s Server.
Now I´m sitting at work with my Ipod (lol) and just mentioned that even the Artwork of Movies or Music is lost. Just grey boxes.
    This is not Apple anymore!!!
Is this the "just one more thing"?! --> Next time I will think twice before buying some stuff of apple!!

  • Nokia n73 network disappears after sending a few c...

i am suffering from a unique problem on mine nokia n73 me
when ever i send continuous messages through the phone the network disappears and i have to restart my handset
it only happens when sending continuous messages it allows me to send a few messages without any problem
i am receiving calls and able to make call no network problem is there
    what should i do....

this probably is a case of a bug in ur device so what u can try are:
U can go in for a hard reset which will turn ur device as it left the factory totally new and since u have no issue with the backup i think it wud probably do the trick
'*' '3' 'Call Key' and Power button all pressed at the same time after u have removed ur phone battery for at least 5 mins.
U can also update/reinstall ur firmware and see the result
In case of ur memory card there are different options available to you to get rid of the corrupt/unwanted data in your card.
menu--installations--application manager--remove the unwanted application....... in ur case internet tel
    menu--tools--memory---options---format memory card......
remember everything including ur factory installed apps will be deleted......... but u can always download them later either from nokia or google them...
or insert ur card in any reader or laptop and check for virus and also the hidden folders....... check for any virus
the last option is to take it to ur care point and ask them to do the needful

Seen someone else had this issue, I have used verizon payment for a year easy, now its not even an option anymore, only debit, credit, redeem.  Called verizon and Google, they just blame each other.  I do know everything with my verizon account is up to date and fine, should be showing option as payment, but it is not. Any help greatly appreciated :)

  • My iphone 4s could not deduct carrier network, it happend all of a sudden, please help me

hi, My iphone 4s suddenly could not search for carrier network. i tried to restore netwrok settings, restored complete mobile, changed network provider but nothing worked. Anyone with same experience advise whether it can sorted or not??

My fiancé started experiencing the same problem yesterday. I was able to solve her issue by creating a forwarding rule within her icloud prefrences.
    Log into: www.icloud.com
    Click the mail icon
Click the cog wheel in the upper right hand corner of the tool bar
    Select "Rules..."
    Click "Add a Rule..."
Select and fill in the following information so that the rule says:
"If a message 'is addressed to' [email protected] Then 'Forward to' [email protected]"
Click done. (Obviously, type your actual email addresses in the address bars.)
Unfortunately, you won't receive any email that was sent prior to creating this rule, but you should receive all new email.

  • Network disappearance

This is the most random problem that I have seen in a long time. Before I go into it all I'll give you a little background information, I am running a 2009 Macbook with Mac OSX version 10.5.8 it runs smoothly as all **** and is amazing normally. Before anyone says I should go to the apple store to get technical help understand that I am temporarily living in China in a place where that isn't an option. With all of that info given check this...
At the academy where I am living there is one internet service being shared over two routers and a few cables. It used to be shared over 3 creating 3 networks, but one of them was turned off this weekend. Anyways lets say there is network 1,2 & 3. Networks 1 & 2 I could connect to, but number 2 is now dead, so we don't need to talk about that. Network 3 is out of my distance, but if I am close enough I can connect to it.
So I left for a weekend and returned and when I returned I discovered that I can no longer see network 1. Like my computer does not recognize it as there. I would assume that it is the router except everyone elves computers still works on it. Including two of my roommates one of which being a macbook user. I can still see network 3 and if I go to the other room I can connect to it, but even if I put my computer right next to the router of number 1 it does not see it. And, my ipod touch can be sitting in the same place as me and see network 1 but my computer does not...
So I've done all of the no brainers, restarted the modem, updated my software, turned my airport off and on, I've even done some more technical stuff, zapped my PRAM, deleted my wireless config files, even trashed my home directories System configuration. And so far, nothing. I'm going crazy. Has anyone ever heard of a network disappearing when everyone else can see it?
    PLEASE HELP!
    Thanks!

  • Wifi networks disappearing

I have a Kira, only 6 months old, although refurbished model by Toshiba. Running Windows 10 which I upgraded to yesterday. But was having the same problem prior to upgrading from windows 8.
The wifi is not connecting. After rebooting, all the available networks show up. I connect to mine, it appears to be connected for a few minutes. However trying to actually use the network is unsuccessful. After a minute or so, ALL wifi networks disappear from the list, and an exclamation mark appears on the one I'm connected to. After I disconnect from it, it too disappears.
Enabling/disabling wifi doesn't help, I've tried the automatic windows troubleshooter in both 8.1 and 10 with no results.
The Ethernet port still works fine.
I've tried a "hard reset" by pressing the power button for 30 seconds with no success either.
Slightly concerned about the problem persisting after upgrading to windows 10!
    Any suggestions hugely appreciated.
    Thanks

The part number is PSU8SA-00C006Not sure where to find the full model name, all I can see is "Kira" anywhere. Thanks

  • Windows computers on the network disappeared from the browser

I own a macbook pro 10.6.4 and in the office we have an imac and 7 windows 7 pc. Till last week I could able to see all the computers on the network under "Shared" and able to connect them. Office printer is shared via one of the pc thats why I cannot add it to use. I can connect them with "connect server" by using their ip or names. Also I can only see imac under "Shared". How can I be able to see all the computers under "Shared" again and add the printer. Thank you.

nothing. all the computers except imac disappeared suddenly. it happened once a couple of weeks again but it lasted like a day.

  • 5.0.1 update - Network Disappearing

I updated to IO 5.0.1 last night via iTunes (iPhone 4s connected to computer) and this morning I noticed every so often my carrier (Rogers Wireless in Canada) is dropping or my phone is going into No Service.
A person at work has the IPhone 4s 5.0 on their phone and we just held up phone side by side.  He had full signal and connectivity while I had No Service.
This is disconcerting.  I have reset the Network settings.  Can anyone suggest anything else I can try to sustain network.

  • Wired ethernet network disappears after upgrading to Yosemite

I am a lone iMac on a Windows network, but have connected through ethernet without a problem for years. Since upgrading to Yosemite, however, my network has disappeared. My ethernet is connected, my IP address is the same as before (assigned by DHCP) and I have made no changes to any other settings. The only difference now is that my mapped network drives cannot connect and in Finder, when I click on NETWORK and SERVERS, there is nothing there.
The company IT guy is a Certified Microsoft dude and he swears nothing has been changed in the network. It must be the upgrade.
What has Yosemite changed? (The Firewall is off.)

    Found a fix
When trying to fix a wake failure, I simultanuously fixed the issue with network drives. It is connected to the Preferences.
Here is how I could solve the problems:
Press command+shift+c - > Macintosh HD - > Library - > Preferences -> Drag SystemConfiguration on desktop, it's going to make a copy of it (May ask for password, then delete it from the Preferences (which is the initial folder). Shut down, then do a PRAM Reset. If you don't know how to do that :
After you shut down the computer, locate the option, command, P and R from your keyboard. Press the power button to turn it on and quickly press all four buttons before hearing the first 'power up sound'. Keep them pressend until you hear a second 'power up sound'.

  • List of Wireless Networks disappear/don't show

I'm having major problems with my Macbook Pro. It has all the latest upgrades for Leopard (just checked again for updates - nothing more available). This was a native installation of Leopard - not an upgrade from Tiger.
When I FIRST start my laptop, it connects to the #1 preferred network. But I have 2 routers at home (and I live in an apartment so there's about 12 networks around me) and I often need to switch depending on which end of my condo I am in (concrete walls suck for signals). Any how this is not a signal issue however, as this problem happens when I am in the same room as my router.
When I click the Airport button on the top, the dropdown menu comes out, and fora split second it displays all the networks. But after about half a second (which is NOT enough for me to find and click another network I need to hook into) the list disappears, and truncates to the one I am already on.
So from there I tried "Join Other Network" and it opens a new window, asking me to enter a Network name and what not. When I click on "Show Networks", it used to display all the available networks, but it displays NOTHING - not even the network I am already connected to, using fast and normal internet.
So basically I need to turn my Airport off, open the preferences, change the order of preferred networks on the list of saved networks, and then turn it on again.
Now here's the killer - 50% of the time, after reconnecting, or after waking up from sleep mode, my laptop will FAIL to find internet connection from any of my two routers (while my roomates are doing fine) even with the proper IP addresses and Subnet masks assigned. it basically looks like a healthy connection but I get no internet browsing, email, MSN, nothing.
So basically every time I move from my living room to my bedroom, there's a 50% chance I need to reboot my computer. And there's a 100% chance I need to stumble around settings to make sure my computer finds the right router.

    Try the following:
    1. Delete Preferred Network(s)
    o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
o Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
    2. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
o Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
o Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
o Restart, or log out then back in.
    3. Add Preferred Network(s)
    o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
o Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
o Restart or log out then back in.

  • Airport to gateway network disappears

I have two networks set up on my G5 iMac, one for iTunes (connected to an AEX), and another one connected to my Qwest gateway for internet access.
The internet network keeps disappearing. I have to go to the Airport menu and do a "Join other network". I've also noticed that after the network shows up in the menu, it doesn't have a lock symbol next to it like the iTunes network. And when I went to the Network preference pane this morning, the padlock was unlocked even though I had locked it last night.
Can somebody shed some light on what might be going on here?

If you only want one wireless network, configure the AirPort Express (AX) to join the wireless network provided by the Qwest gateway.
When a lock appears next to the network name, it indicates that the network is protected by wireless encryption (WEP, WPA, or WPA2). If the lock does not appear, the network does not have wireless encryption enabled.
And when I went to the Network preference pane this morning, the padlock was unlocked even though I had locked it last night.
That is completely separate from the wireless network issue. If I remember correctly there is a setting somewhere to force it to stay locked but it has nothing to do with AirPort.

  • Network disappears completely from Airport on iMAC, G4 Powerbook +iPhone 4

    Can anybody please help..!
My network has disappeared completely from Airport on iMAC, G4 Powerbook + iPhone 4 and even after restarting the router several times the network does not reappear. It's been 2 days now and i need it to work from home urgently.
    thanks in advance !

    Hi Shane
if it's missing from three devices, I imagine that you may need to connect to it via ethernet cable & see if the wireless id is set to be hidden, as well as checking the setup pages to see if wireless is actually operating correctly.
Something like iStumbler or WiFi Scanner should help you determine that too.

  • Company network disappeared

After installing Leopard, I have been unable to see my company folder on the network. I talked to the system administrator, he reset the DHCP, I was able to see the company folder for about a minute, and then it disappeared. Other Mac users on the network have experience the same issue. It seems to be an issue isolated with Leopard as other Mac that have not yet been upgraded to Leopard can still see the company folder. Hopefully a fix is in the works? Anyone have any suggestions?

I now have access to the company folder. I came in this morning not having any connection at all, to the internet or email. 4 out of the 5 Macs in the office were offline. I decided to print a screen shot of my Network settings and showed them to my System Administrator. He informed me that two of the numbers in my IP address and the router address were incorrect. I was connecting via DHCP, so I switched to Manually, and entered the numbers correctly. I then had access to the company folder but still not the internet. So, through a series of troubleshooting, we changed the last three digits on the IP address, and we were online again, and still had access to the company folder. For some reason, the IP addresses that were being automatically chosen as well as the router address, were incorrect. I'm not sure if this is an isolated situation here in our office, but thought I would pass the info along to those who are having the same issues.
