Carrier Selection Menu?
There's a carrier selection menu that will, apparently, appear if you have little to no service from your carrier. I have yet to see this menu and would like to be able to get to it even when I'm not outside of my carrier's coverage. There has to be a way since it's a menu on the iPhone, even if it is hidden to begin with.
I have searched Google and other websites/forums looking for the answer and have yet to find it. I've called AT&T and they weren't even aware that this menu existed. I have also looked at the iPhone user's manual that's on Apple's website and it says you have to be outside of your carrier's coverage in order to access it, but one would think there has to be a way to access it anyway since it's a default feature on the iPhone. I have a first generation iPhone with the newest firmware (2.0) and I reside in the U.S. If anybody has any advice on how to get to this menu I would appreciate it. Thanks!

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

How can i change 'selected menu link' color in af:menuTree
Hi,
Is there any selector specifically for highlighting the currently selected menu item in
the af:menuTree.
Right now in my skin it is taking the style of .AFDarkForeground:alias.
I want my selected link to have different color other than AFDarkForeground:alias is having.

I'm having problems (1) selecting onscreen text, (2) resizing menu boxes and selecting menues with the cursor. I'm not able to select menus and move them. I'm not sure how to correct this.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. 1. There are NO - Play All - button in any version of iDVD
2. It can be faked in several ways
• Easiest and most fault proof way is to make a doublet movie containing All and with
Chapters set to match. It will take up x2 space but is easy to understand and produce.
Cons: Tried this in iMovie’11 by Exporting out each part as a full Quality QT.mov then Importing back into new events and putting these into a new project (Play All project). Resulting DVD had Audio that was OK (as parts) - BUT the picture was very bad and standing photo were cut of in height. So the Play All movie has to be created from same material and exactly in the same way as the individual parts + then Chapters has to be set to match.
• It's said that one can put all movies into a Photo/SlideShow and this will also
give the function of a Play All button - Tested - and ONE HAS TO un-cheque - Scale pictures to TV-Safe area else it will be a black frame all around and a small picture !

You might be able to get close to what you want by using a slideshow in iDVD. (It's not widely known, but you can put videos in a slideshow.) If you set the slide duration to manual, playback will pause after each movie/slide, and you can continue with the 'next' button.

Thank you for getting back to me. You’re absolutely correct. My Adobe Cloud app. was out of date. Once I updated Adobe Cloud it it notified me of the new photoshop update.
Photoshop CC 2014 has just downloaded and I’m about to try it.

Setting the Default Value for a dynamic select menu
Hi I have a php page with 2 forms on it, one feeds the other to achieve a drill down (manufacturer > model). In the second select menu I have a default static value "Select Aircraft Model", I want to set a value for the first dynamic select menu to read "Select Aircraft Manufacturer". When I add a static value to my list it tells me I alreay have a dynamic behavior on this menu and to choose a different one. I have included the code for both menus. Thank you in advance, I know this must be a stupid question, but it's got me stumped.

Setting a secondary option for JSF select menu
Hi,
Is it possible to set a second option to be selected in my selectOneListBox if the first one doesn't exist? Currently I have

and sometimes I have a delete action that causes elements of that select menu to disappear (causing 'Validation Error "elementSelect": Value is not a valid option.' errors), in which case I'd like the default first option to be selected.
Any thoughts and insights are appreciated, - DaveI don't fully understand how you have designed the flow of your action logic, but at least the backing bean must be notified of the delete action. Keep this in mind if you're deleting items using Javascript.

ABAP Web Dynpro ALV: event for "tabel selection menu" needed
Hi all,
we need to react on the "table selection menue" control in our ALV grids. We found, that event "lead_select" is triggerd, if single lines are selected and if "delete selection" from the table selection menu is used.
But if the "select all" item is used, the event is not triggered.
Is there another event we can use? Does anybody know a sensible workaround for this problem?

Selection Menu for VM, possible?

I pretty new at this, but after weeks of trial and error, I am able to get the SRSS 4.2 and ESX4U1 to display my vm desktop to a DTU. Now I want to dig a little deeper.
Question, is it possible in SRSS 4.2 to be able to create a "selection menu" when the DTU connects to the server? What I want is this, when a DTU or card session is connected to the server it will display a "selection menu" of all available vm for the user to choose which vm they want to start up. I am currently in an environment that the user will need to use multiple vm and it would really help out if we could present to the user with a "selection menu" to choose from.Did you look at using [Sun VDI|http://wikis.sun.com/display/VDI3dot1/How+to+Access+Desktops+Using+a+Sun+Ray+Client+%28with+a+VDI+Desktop+Selector%29] instead of plain SRSS?

Color not changing on Selected Menu tab
I'm creating a custom css and in doing so have been trying to change the text color of the selected menu tab. I've added it to my stylesheet but it is not changing upon running it. If I change the menu tab specifically via the properties of the tab, it will change. Is 'color' something we can change?
Here is a snipet of my css:

Also, you need to use the ::selected-link pseudo-element to style the color of the text.

How to create "Scene Selection" Menu
I'm new to dvd studio pro & thought I was on the right track when I created chapter markers in Final Cut & exported as a quicktime w/ markers, but the dvd studio program either does not recognize the chapters, or I do not know where to look for them. I'm finding the manual very confusing, as it does not appear to directly say how to make up a scene selection menu using the chapter markers. Maybe I'm reading in the wrong place?
If anyone has some pointers, it would be appreciated.

My MBP runs hot in the boot volume selection menu
I noticed that when I start my MBP holding shift to get to the boot volume selection menu and leave it there for 15 minutes or so (might be shorter, I was gone both times that it's happened so far) the MBP gets unusually hot (almost too hot to touch between keyboard and screen) and I can hear the fans going much faster and louder than they should be (I think). After choosing one of the boot volumes and checking the temperatures in iStat Pro I see that the CPU is at just under 70°C. A few minutes later the temperatures go down by about 10°C and the fans quiet down running at the usual 2000rpm.
Why does it get so hot? How can a simple boot menu be consuming more resources than a full desktop environment plus open Dashboard (which FYI contains 20+ widgets).

Why does my Desktop Mouse freeze (moves erratically) when selecting menu items in PSE13 Editor?
It seems that my computer with 8GB of memory may not be enough to use PSE13. The Organizer menu works fine when I select menu items. The problem is when I switch to the Editor. My mouse starts to freeze, move fast, or too slow. It is difficult to select
a menu item in this situation.
Unusual. In theory PSE13 should be better as it's a 64 bit application.
Can you try re-setting the prefs then close and re-launch the Editor. First you need to go to:
Edit >> Preferences >> General
Then click the button shown on the image below.
Drop down selection menu stopped working on Firefox 16
Hi there,
I have a drop down selection menu (<select></select>) on my website that triggers an ajax function to display a specific table using jquery's datatable. Prior to firefox 16, the selection menu worked fine. I clicked on the menu, and the options showed up. However, ever since I upgraded to firefox16, the selection menu doesn't work as expected anymore :S
Here's the thing, first time I clicked on an option, selection menu expanded, and I can click on any option to trigger the table change function. Everything is working fine till that point.
It's when I clicked on the selection menu the second time, the selection menu stopped working. It didn't even expand and show any options. I checked with firebug (No js error). I tried safemode/hardware acceleration option I read from another thread, it doesn't work either.
I checked with the firebug console log and I noticed the click event was being triggered whenever I clicked on it, but my selection menu somehow just won't expand (The options are in the html). I checked with all the other browsers as well, and everything seems to be fine (Even the previous version of FF).
Strangely enough, when I click on any other elements on the website and then go back to clicking that selection menu, the selection menu seems to have reset to my 1st step's state. (It stopped expanding as soon as I chose an option though and I will have to click on another element again.)
