  • HP Deskjet 1510 Tri-color Ink Cartridge Error

    I just bought a HP Deskjet 1510 back in August and I loaded the HP original ink cartridges that come with the purchase. For the first 5 print jobs it was working well, but somehow after a while my laptop and the printer itself just kept warning that there's low ink level in the cartridges (especially the tri-color one). I haven't even got to use the tri-color cartridge much as I've been printing in grayscale ever since I've used this printer.
    I've tried taking the cartridge out and putting it back in again; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I thought it might be a contact issue so I cleaned those parts too but it didn't change anything.
    It's getting extremely frustrating as I'll have to do this for god knows how many times for every single page I print or copy. This happens to the black cartridge too but 90% of the time it's the tri-color cartridge.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

    Hello @ut32w , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
    I hope you had a great holiday!
    I understand from reading your post that you are running into cartridge errors.  I'd like to help!
    I would first suggest removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
    I would also recommend running through the steps listed in the document below:

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One - N911n cartridge errors

    Please help! I have an Officejet Pro 8600 all in one that is just over a year old, just out of warrenty... We don't use it much and so just had to change the ink cartridges for the first time. Once they were changed out, the printer gave me the warning that there is a cartridge error and that the Cyan failed. Even though it was a brand new cartridge, I bought another one and changed it again. I still get the same error message with the 2nd new one. I have been through everything on the HP website for troubleshooting this problem and nothing works! Please, does anyone have anything else I can do????

    Sorry to hear you are still having this problem. So the yellow was out and you replaced the yellow and then the cyan failed?
    Printers when left not used for some time, may have printhead issue, but if it's not even recognizing the cartridge, then more likely a hardware or board issue that may need professional service.
    One thing you can try is to update the firmweare (if not already), http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL41945/bi-101905-5/OJP8600_N911a_R1322C.exe

  • How do I fix Cartridge Error and flashing light message on my 4215xi all-in-one? I use windows 8.1

    This equipment was working just fine after I installed a re-filled black ink cartridge.   A few days later I began to get a flashing light with the message: Cartridge Error. See Product Documentation for details.   Sometimes my computer said the printer was offline when it wasn't.   I have also had occasional cartridge door open messages when the door was closed.    I have removed the two cartrdges, cleaned them with water by using a coffee filter as  a swab.  I have also uninstalled and, I think, reinstalled the software printer driver, but I am not entirely certain as to that.

    Hi there @donpablitosan!
    Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!
    I would be happy to help in regards to the flashing lights and cartridge error on the printer.  You had also mentioned that the computer sometimes shows the printer offline or door open errors.  I should be able to help with that as well!
    The first thing I suggest is to plug the printer into the wall outlet directly if it is currently in a power surge protector or extension cord.  This may sound silly but this will ensure the printer is getting full power and may eliminate any unnecessary troubleshooting.  If the printer is no longer getting full power from the power surge or extension cord it may give false errors or have poor connection and paper feed issues.
    From what I can find it looks like you have done all the troubleshooting regarding the cartridge itself.  If you have tried the above suggestion and are still getting the same issue then you may need to try another cartridge to see if the issue is coming from the printers hardware or the cartridge.
    Thanks again for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Check print cartridge error

    I installed a new black cartridge in my HP PSC 1410 All-in-One.  It printed a sheet to align the cartridges, but it won't scan, and I can't find HP Utilities or Scan or Toolbox on my MAC.
    I tried taking one cartridge out, then the other.  That did not help.  I also tried turning everything off, no luck.  The only thing that happened was the printer printed another aligning sheet.
    Any suggestions??
    Thanks

    Hello apgrams,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
    I understand you're receiving a few problems with the PSC 1410. I will do my best to assist you! What is your operating system on your Mac computer? Click here to find out.
    Are you still receiving "Check Print Cartridges" error?
    Is this alignment sheet missing colors? If not, then please follow these steps:
    1) Remove all ink cartridges from the printer, then close the door
    2) Remove the power cord from the printer (Do not press the power button)
    3) Wait 60 seconds or more, then plug the power cord back in
    4) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges
    5) Try to print another alignment page
    I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great night!

    I keep getting a "Print Cartridge Error" on my psc 2410. I replaced both ink cartiridges and cannot clear the error. Any ideas?

    After playing with it, I now get only a 'check color cartirdge' message. I've pulled it out, checked the contacts and put it back in several times to no avail...

    whether my oracle's version 11.2.0.1 has no the RDBMS bug fix, and other  problems? Thanks

    Oracle R Enterprise 1.1. requires Oracle Database 11.2.0.3, 11.2.0.4. On Linux and Windows.  Oracle R Enterprise can also work with an 11.2.0.1 or 11.2.0.2 database if it is properly patched.
    Embedded R execution will not work without a patched database.  Follow this procedure to patch the database:
    1. Go to My Oracle Support:http://support.oracle.com
    2. Log in and supply your Customer Support ID (CSI).
    3. Choose the Patches & Updates tab.
    4. In the Patch Search box, type 11678127
    and click Search
    5. Select the patch for your version of Oracle Database, 11.2.0.1.
    6. Click Download to download the patch.
    7. Install the patch using OPatch. Ensure that you are using the latest version of OPatch.

  • Error -29400ORA-29400: data cartridge error IMG-00714: internal error

    Hi,
    I have a table with a blob column containing images, not
    intermedia column.
    I am using intermedia process method to change some images,
    change maxScale and compression.
    I get this error when I try to change certain images
    -29400ORA-29400: data cartridge error
    IMG-00714: internal error
    Does anyone know why?
    P.S. how do you do an explict close of ORDSYS variable
    after initializing?
    Thank you
    David Wilton
    This is my testing procedure:
    PROCEDURE change_image (P_SCANNED_IMAGES_REC IN NUMBER) IS
    v_intermed_image ORDSYS.ORDImage := ORDSYS.ORDImage.init();
    BEGIN
    select image_data
    into v_intermed_image.source.localdata
    from obra.scanned_images
    where scanned_images_rec = p_scanned_images_rec
    for update;
    v_intermed_image.process('compressionFormat=FAX4,maxScale=1696
    2200');
    update obra.scanned_images
    set image_data = v_intermed_image.source.localdata
    where scanned_images_rec = p_scanned_images_rec;
    commit;
    exception
    when others then
    dbms_output.put_line('An exception occurred');
    dbms_output.put_line(sqlcode || sqlerrm);
    END;

    David,
    I suspect you'll need to supply a TIFF image for the interMedia
    engineers to experiment on. The error message you received is
    essentially a "last chance" error message and isn't specific
    enough for diagnosis of your problem.
    Cheers

  • Print Cartridge Error (Electrical Failed Pen)

    I'm using an HP Deskjet F4400 series, and I just replaced my empty black cartridge.  Prior to that, the color cartridge was around 75% full.  After installing the black cartridge, I have an error with the color cartridge, Print Cartridge Error (Electrical Failed Pen).  I found a thread that suggested cleaning the contacts, but I still have the same error, and cannot use the printer.  Please help!
    This question was solved.

    Hi, you could try doing a reset (check out this link ), then try to reseat the cartridges and perform an alignment (details here ). Does this solve the problem?

  • Photosmart C5280 all-in-one Cartridges error message

    hi, I have a Photosmart C5280 all-in-one. It's been good until today when I got an error message:
    ! Print Cartridges refer to printer documentation.
    I've only ever used genuine HP cartridges. I have the correct ones in - 75XL tricolour and 74XL black.
    I've taken them out, reseated them several times to no avail, the error message will not leave and the printer will not function. Any ideas please?

    Hi there Crouch11,
    Welcome to the Forums
    I noticed the issue you are having with your Photosmart C5280 now showing you an ink cartridge error. I suggest following the guide below to see if this can be resolved for you.

  • Cartridge Error on Printer screen

    I have an old (6+ years old) HP Officejet 4255 all-in-one product and It is not working even after trying two new cartridges. The amber exclamation light is flashing and the printer screen error message is "Cartridge Error . See Product documentation for details". I cannot locate product documentation. Can anyone help with what the problem may be? Only other piece of information is that there appears to be a bit of black ink around the black ink cartridge that I took out.

    Hello Bobbievk,
    Please let me take a moment to say "Welcome" to the HP Forums. I hope you enjoy your experience!
    To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
    I see that you are having some issues with a cartridge error on the printer.
    One step I suggest we try is to make sure the printers power cable is connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip.  Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general.
    Please click on the link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
    If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.
    I hope you have a great day and I thank you for your time.

  • HP Deskjet 6980-print cartridge error

    I replaced both ink cartridges.Once I closed the lid and error came on my screen telling me Print Cartridge error- tri color. and the tri color light blinks continuously???

    Hi - by 'compatible cartridges', do you mean refilled or non-HP cartridges? HP can't support those because they are somebody else's product - HP doesn't know what kind of ink is in them, how they were refilled, how they might have been damaged during remanufacturing, etc. Here's a support document on a comparison of reliability of HP vs remanufactured or refilled brands by QualityLogic (an independent quality assurance organization): http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bpa00113&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USE....  There is a broken link in this doc, which is a bit annoying, but I think it is trying to take you to this page, which has more on the relative reliability of HP vs non-HP: http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/supplies/printer-ink-refill.html
    When you cleaned your electrical contacts, did you clean the contacts inside the printer as well? They are hard to get at, but you'll find them in the cradle where the cartridges go - they match up with the contacts on the cartridges. Don't use very much water at all - a barely dampened, lint-free cloth is best. And I would use distilled water, rather than rain or tap water. Rain water especially could have contaminants.

  • Data cartridge error

    after I generate signature for every image insert into the database, I directly retrive them and compare them , but I got exception like:
    exception raised java.sql.SQLException: ORA-29400: data cartridge error
    IMG-00923: Signature is empty
    ORA-06512: at "ORDSYS.ORDIMAGESIGNATURE", line 5
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Image matching score computation failed
    Done.
    my source code like:
    try
    { // try
         // contains OrdImageSignature object
    Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
    OracleResultSet get_sig_result1= (OracleResultSet) stmt.executeQuery("select signature from photos where id =" + 9);
    get_sig_result1.next();
    OrdImageSignature img_sig1 = (OrdImageSignature)get_sig_result1.getCustomDatum(1,OrdImageSignature.getFactory());
    OracleResultSet get_sig_result2= (OracleResultSet) stmt.executeQuery("select signature from photos where id =" + 10);
    get_sig_result2.next();
    OrdImageSignature img_sig2 = (OrdImageSignature)get_sig_result2.getCustomDatum(1,OrdImageSignature.getFactory());
    float gscore
    = OrdImageSignature.evaluateScore
    ( img_sig1, img_sig2, "color=1" );
    System.out.println("score value (global color comparison):" + gscore);
    float lscore
    = OrdImageSignature.evaluateScore
    ( img_sig1, img_sig2, "color=1 location=1" );
    System.out.println("Score value (local color comparison):" + lscore);
    get_sig_result2.close();
    get_sig_result1.close();
    stmt.close();
    } // try
    catch(Exception e)
    { // catch
    System.out.println("exception raised " + e);
    System.out.println("Image matching score computation failed");
    } // catch (Exception e)

    I just want to make my question clear, so I put my code to create signature here:
    //initialization
    stmt = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareStatement(
    "insert into photos ( id , description , sequence ,image, thumb, signature ) " +
    " values (?,?,?,ORDSYS.ORDImage.init(),ORDSYS.ORDImage.init(),ORDSYS.ORDImageSignature.init())" );
    stmt = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareStatement(
    "select image ,thumb ,signature from photos where id = ? for update" );
    stmt.setString( 1, id );
    rset = (OracleResultSet)stmt.executeQuery();
    if ( !rset.next() )
    throw new ServletException( "new row not found in table" );
    OrdImage image =
    (OrdImage)rset.getCustomDatum( 1, OrdImage.getFactory());
    OrdImage thumb =
    (OrdImage)rset.getCustomDatum( 2, OrdImage.getFactory());
    OrdImageSignature signature =
    (OrdImageSignature)rset.getCustomDatum(3,OrdImageSignature.getFactory());
    //after load photo to image, generate image, thumb and signature
    try
    image.processCopy( "maxScale=50,50", thumb );
    catch ( SQLException e )
    thumb.deleteContent();
    thumb.setContentLength( 0 );
    System.out.println("after processCopy to make the thumb");
    try{
                   image.setProperties();
                   image.importData(ctx);
                   signature.generateSignature(image);
              catch(Exception e)
              { // catch
              System.out.println("exception raised " + e);
              System.out.println("image signature generation failed");
    } // catch
    //then , save into database
    stmt = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareStatement(
    "update photos set image = ? where id = ? " );
    stmt.setCustomDatum( 1, image );
    stmt.setString( 2, id );
    stmt.execute();
    stmt.close();
    System.out.println("after update image");
    stmt = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareStatement(
    "update photos set thumb = ? where id = ? " );
    stmt.setCustomDatum( 1, thumb);
    stmt.setString( 2, id );
    stmt.execute();
    stmt.close();
    System.out.println("after update thumb");
    stmt = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareCall(
                   "update photos set signature = ? where id =? ");
         stmt.setCustomDatum(1,signature);
         stmt.setString( 2, id );
              stmt.execute();
              stmt.close() ;
    System.out.println("after update signature");
    //then, go back to my last post to retrive signature and compare. I got the errors.
    can anyone help me? thanks.
