Case connector (JFP1) doesn\'t work

I have sucessfully replaced my dead Biostar M7VKD KT133A motherboard with a new MSI K7T Turbo2 board.
The only problem I have is that the case connector (JFP1) doesn't work. I am not getting a light for the power LED and the HDD LED. I hooked them up correctly according to the manual.
Any ideas what might be wrong?

I need some help in trying to hook up to the case connector. I have a M-6367 1.1 M/B.
The connector is diffrent than what is in the book & on line. It doesn't have the space between the keylock pins and the HDD LED pins. It has one pin missing( 3rd from the top ) counting down from where the reset switch plugs in.

What I would do:
Remove all the front pannel connectors.
Use a screwdriver to short each pin with the one next to it until the system boots.
Now that I have found the power button I would do the same to get to the reset button.
Next I would use the LED connectors to check for the specific lights.

The hyperlink manager in the case messages section doesn't work

One of my clients uses the messages section in cases to respond to customer enquiries to keep track od communications (as it's set up for). However, you can't add a hyperlink to a message. If you open the Hyperlink Manager, the pop up box just shows a system error. Custom links work, but he wants to insert another web address.
Can we please get this fixed.

Hi Jarrod,
You need to create a page for the responses, add it to secure zone, place {module_case,a} onto it and customers will then be able to go there, log in and view the replies.
What you may want to look at is CST. You can append it to web forms and customers can email it directly and all the conversations will be stored in the CRM.

IPhone case program app doesn't work

At the first page, I enter my password and get: "we are unable to process your request" why is this?

Upgrading to JavaFX 1.2, in a case translateX,Y doesn't work

I'm almost getting out of the bunch of issues arisen out of the upgrade to 1.2. One of the final points is a controller class that I use for animations (it's a mobile application and new "screens" slide in and out from an edge). The thing worked fine with 1.1.1. The key concept is that each "screen" is encapsulated in a NavigationTile class, which extends Container. I keep both references to the previousTile and the currentTile in a Group; then a Timeline sets the translateX,Y coordinates for the two tiles, so they are adjacent and "slide in". Well, I see that they get placed in the correct initial position, but then they aren't moved. The Timeline fires correctly all the changes, as I can print the coordinates and see the proper sequence.
As I said, it worked in 1.1.1. Is there anything I should learn about translateX,Y in 1.1.2?

You should read [JavaFX 1.2 Technology: Features and Enhancements|http://javafx.com/docs/articles/javafx1-2.jsp] page, it is a very interesting reading, and very helpful when you need to fix (upgrade) your scripts.
Something possibly relevant:
The preferred method to position a node for layout is layoutX and layoutY instead of using translateX and translateY.
While translateX and translateY most likely will work, layoutX and layoutY will have better performance.
Also, if you do a legitimate translateX and translateY, the original value is lost if you did not use layoutX and layoutY.

and than I bought an incase Case.
It doesn't work. The gadget used to support the iPhone does not fit into old docking stations. See photo 1:

I called the Gadget Locker and the nice lady didn't even own an iPhone and could not try it! Do not use this company if you want a dockable iPhone solution

Flash Player doesn't work on Power PC Mac OS 10.5.8?

Is there a workaround for the absence of support from Adobe for my Power Mac G5, Power PC, 10.5.8? I used to get the option to "use original player" but YouTube doesn't seem to do that anymore, so all I got this morning is a black screen where a video should be.

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

10gR2 CASE doesn't work

I've created a mapping, with a CASE statement wich converts a code to a meaningful word. But it doesn't work properly. All values evaluate to the ELSE branche. I've tried it with an intermediate result and that gives the correct result, but when executing the mapping all codes are like the ELSE branche.
After generating the intermediate result for the complete mapping i've copy/paste the code to TOAD. When I leave the intermediate result untouched and execute the SQL it evaluates every row to the ELSE branche. When I replace the insert into statement by a create table as it gives the correct result.
When I rebuild the statement with a decode it works just fine in mapping result as well as in intermediate result.
Is this a known bug? Anyone experiencing the same?

Perhaps if you paste your code, someone might notice what is wrong.
Also, make sure your target database is set to 10g (i.e. if you are in fact deploying to 10g). The generated code might differ for 8i/9i/10g databases.

I think it does work as described, but the description is not very complete. Capitalization does not change any of the characters that you type; what it does is allow some of the lower case characters to display as capitals. If you copy the result and paste it as plain text, you'll see that the lower case characters are still there. It doesn't actually say anywhere that it can make capitals display as lower case, and it can't.
The obvious way around this is to actually type what you want.
The more powerful way is to install WordService from Devon Technologies which adds the functionality of Pages' capitalization menu as well a lot of other ones. WordService actually changes the character to the one displayed, and it works in most of the applications on your Mac.

There is the right One already preentered. From there it switches back to the former mask (appleID +password) and nothing happens. If you say Log in again, ist just switches between those masks without showing an error claim nor logging in. Strange thing is ist worked proppperply till a few days ago.......

If you get to step 3 I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

Admin console for connector doesn't work

          I deployed the sample connector "BlackBoxNoTx.rar" under
          wlserver6.1_beta\samples\examples\jconnector\simple.
          There's no error. but in admin console for deployments/connector,
          I can not see any configuration info(such as JNDI name)under monitoring. It always
          display blank.
          Is it a known bug?

The language problem is a mystery. Maybe that's why your password doesn't work anymore - just a thought.
However Reset Password is found in the menu bar on the Installer application.
Then you may have a chance to select the hard drive, and then your user name.

HT4623 I've installed the update and even resorted to the restore function. My phone doesn't work not. My screen shows a graphic of the usb connector with an arrow pointing towards and Itunes icon. It will do nothing else! HELP

Yes, I connected the phone to my iMac which is the original computer it is backed up on. From iTunes I had no option except to restore, which I did. Still no luck. Still just see the graphic. :-(

Whenever you have a question, it helps to post:
(1) The version of Oracle (and any other relevant software) you're using
(2) A little sample data (just enough to show what the problem is) from all the relevant tables
(3) The results you want from that data (If you're asking about a DML statement, such as UPDATE, this will be the state of the tables when everything is finished.)
(4) Your best attempt so far (formatted) (You posted this, but since it's unformated, it's very hard to read.)
(5) The full error message (if any), including line number.
Executable SQL statements (like "CREATE TABLE AS ..." or "INSERT ..." statements) are best for (2).
If you can present your problem using commonly available tables (for example, tables in the scott schema, or views in the data dictionary), then you can omit (2).
Formatted tabular output is okay for (3).
I'll bet you know something more specific about the problem than "it doesn't work", such as an error message or wrong results. Why not share that information?
One possible problem is that the sub-query sometimes finds more than one matching row, so it returns two (or more) courtNotes. If it does that, which one do you want to use?

The lower case P doesn't work on any of my keyboards.

Tried other keyboards and it doesn't work on any of them, so it must be a software Problem. Any ideas how to fix?

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.
