Case creation with "Parties Involved" using WST

Dear All,
We are creating a case in CRM system 7.0 using the webservice created by WST tool. The case number is generated successfully, however, u2018Parties Involvedu2019 is not created in the case.
Error obtained:
TypeID = 300(CRMOST),
SeverityCode = 3,
Note = Object CmgRecord with ID 02 could not be created,
Processing Result Code = 4
As per the help available in :

We are populating the values as follows:
PARTNER_FCT = 00000009 (00000009 stands for Activity Partner)
BOR_KEY = 8000000014 (8000000014 is the BP number thats exists in CRM system)
BOR_TYPE = BUS1006 (BUS1006 is the object type)
CRM_MAIN_PARTNER = True (Setting the BP as Main partner)
Please note that the case gets created with "Parties Involved" in WebUI with the above parameters.

We are able to create a case with the "Parties Involved" (using the same above parameters) successfully using the case creation in WebUI manually but with the webservices the error is obtained.

In CRM WEB UI when i am creating a Email Activity as a follow up of an existing Opportunity (with Parties Involved having email Id's) , is it possible to copy the email id of the users in Parties involved of the Opportunity to the email Activity in the To : field
Currently it only gets the email ids of contact persons on opportunities to the email activity when its create as a follow up.
Will i be able to achieve this using config without doing any development?

Hi Chetan,
Functionally Iam not aware how you can achieve it, but you can try implementing the COM_PARTNER_BADI to achieve this.
Get the access sequence created so that, the method DETERMINATION_ADD_IN_1 of the BAdI COM_PARTNER_BADI is called.
Now inside this method you can try to read the partner values of the oppurtunity and assign them to the follow up Email activity.

Prevent creation of production order in case of missing parts

Hi,
Even in OPJH I have maintained no creation of order in case of missing parts, when i create a production order from planned order and I know the Bom components are not avialable in stock then also system allows to create. Pls guide on how to pevent creation of order.

If my understanding is correct then the settings in OPJK for business function 1 - availability check during order creation even if
the value is set as 3 for collective conversion,this works during partial conversion of planned order into production/process
order or during collective conversion of planned orders into production orders.
But however the setting in OPJK for business functionality 2 - during order release checks and if
there are any missing parts means the order cant be released for the value 3 set for release material.

Which version of 6? Check the slide quality, if it is at Low, push it to High or Optimized. Then uncheck all compression settings in Preferences, Project, SWF Size and Quality.

How to add the Partners in parties involved for the campaign creation via code

Mass creation of iprint printers using script with iprntman?

Has anyone ever tried to create more than 3 printers using a script (bash) containing iprint commands on a OES2 SP2 system?
The iprint print manager is configured as a ncs ressource with its own IP, DNS name and volume.
I tried the following iprntman command in a script without success.
iprntman printer prt01 -c -vvvv --accept-cert --container ou=iprint.ou=location.o=organization --gateway-load-string "iprintgw port=raw hostname=printername" --location "Printer in building A" -s FQN_pmgr -u lumuser -p password
All I get is a general error after creation of the second printer:
Error: general error (Modify of ACL failed, Error: No such object)
Exception encountered in OW_HTTPChunkedIStream.cpp on line 197
Checking rcowcimom the demon is dead. Restarting the demon only end in the message see berfore the restart.
Looks like a race condition in cimom. But where can I find further information (which logs)?
Did anyone else have problems with openwbem / cimom using iprintman or is there another way to create printers in an easy way?

Issue with creation of custom layouts using SAP Help Documentation

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to create a home custom page layout (using web dynpro) in Composite Environment. The default options available in CE are not useful for me. I have followed the instructions and followed all the steps, yet I fail to see the application in CE. The custom page layout is not displayed neither in options and is not available any where.

Hi Anandhan,
Have you worked on call back event function modules earlier. Using a call back function module would be required more of coding and in your case its not necessary to use FM.
There is another simple way to achieve this requirement. You can create a custom implementation for the badi COM_PARTNER_BADI and use the method COM_PARTNER_MERGE.
This badi will trigger for all the partners maintained in service order, so we have pick only ship to party partner function.
1. Check the partner function field(partner_fct) value in changing parameters CS_PARTNER_BADI, if it is your ship to party partner function then continue with below steps
2. Get the REF_GUID field from CS_PARTNER_BADI and
read the document process type and partner details. Observe below sample code
lv_guid         = is_partner_control-document_id. "is_partner_wrk-guid.
     APPEND lv_guid TO li_guid.
     lw_object_name = 'ORDERADM_H'.
     APPEND lw_object_name TO li_object_name.

Service PO Creation With Negative value

Hi all,
I am trying to create a Services PO using the BAPI 'BAPI_PO_CREATE1'
In my scenario, First time PO will create with negative value.
Then I will remove some conditions in Services line.
Then PO value will becomes positive.
When i create the bapi in ME21N, its working fine. Net values of PO become negative.
But When I try the same using the BAPI, net price of the PO stored as 0(ZERO).
If I create a PO with positive value using the same BAPI, everything is fine.
If I change the PO after creation(removing the service line to make bapi value as positive), Net values are doubled since value stored as zero instead of negative value.
Kindly help me to get out of this issue.
Note: I need to create a Services PO with negative value using the BAPI

No need to create service PO with negative quantity!
If payment not done for your servicePO, you can cancel invoice document and then revoke SES.
If any other process involved you can do subsequent debit or subsequent credit for your service PO in t.code:MIRO.

How can I video chat with someone who uses web based yahoo?

Not long ago I purchased my first Mac (New MacBook Pro 2.53GHZ); last Summer I also purchased a MacBook Pro for my daughter. Everything works great (like driving a formula one Porsche after grappling with a battered pick-up truck (meaning Windows) for many decades; cannot imagine ever going back. But, there is one issue that I have not been able to solve and for which I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice. I am familiar with ichat and with AIM (my daughter uses it all the time). However, the vast majority of people with whom I communicate via IM live in parts of the world where very few people have even a computer at home much less residential internet access. As a result, near all of the folks I would be chatting with have to use public computers (internet cafes, libraries, etc) and obviously they cannot install AIM or anything else on those public computers. About 90% of them use the web based yahoo messenger which can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection (most of the rest use MSN). My question is this: I know how to do video chat in ichat but ichat does not support yahoo. How can I do video chat with someone who is using web based yahoo on a public computer that has a USB web cam? I was able to do this on my old PC which had a plug in web cam but do not know how it might work on a Mac. Should I install yahoo messenger on my MacBook Pro and will that work for me?. I know about some other Mac compatible chat clients such as Admiun but as far as I can tell none of them support video chat or in some cases yahoo. Perhaps I am overlooking something. I would be very grateful for any suggestions or advice in this matter. Thanks to anyone who reads this post and has any helpful info.

I think there are Mac compatible MSN clients that will do video, (i.e. aMSN) Also, Microsoft plans on releasing an updated version of Messenger for Mac soon.

GoogleTalk does have a browser based video chat, but your friends would need to install a browser plug-in. (which I would assume that can't do either)
The best option is Skype, but also requires an install on their end (I would think that the internet cafes would/should have this available)

How to implement this ?Here's one way:

        THEN
            dbms_output.put_line ('Condition was TRUE');
        ELSE
            dbms_output.put_line ('Condition was FALSE or UNKNOWN');
    END CASE;
END;
/If the condition involves a query, then you may have to select the results into a variable first, and then use the variable in the CASE statement.

Hi,
I'm in 10g on Linux. I want to create a standby database on another Linux server. I did not find a clear procedure to create it in Oracle® Database Backup and Recovery Advanced User's Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2) Part Number B14191-02
and niether in Oracle® Data Guard Concepts and Administration 10g Release 2 (10.2) B14239-04
In the last one chapter 3 sends you to F appendix and F appendix says do nothing before having than all in chapter 3 :
In F.1.1 page F-2 it is said :
See Chapter 3 for a complete discussion of physical standby database preparation,including initialization parameter settings. You must perform all necessary preparation tasks described in these chapters before RMAN can successfully create the standby database files and mount the standby database.
Any way I'm looking for a procedure or clear article to create it.
