Case for extended battery

I had to go with the extended battery for my Revolution to make it through the day,but now I am having problems finding a case that will accept the phone with the bump out in the back for the battery.Has anyone found a case that will fit?

I have been searching for a case for the extended battery also...and I am so disappointed that in order to have a phone that functions for more than a few hours you need to purchase this extended battery...and not to have any protection for it at all is frustrating! I hope they come out with one soon...I have rigged up a jelly case that doeesn't really fit but at least I have 'some' protection!

  • Seidio Case for Extended Battery - Good Price

Well, I decided to bite the bullet and get the extended battery.   I was getting about a full day on the regular battery using 3G and, if today is any indication, I will get about a full day on the extended battery using 4G, which I left it on today.  That being said, I guess it was a good buy because I'm going to assume I can get close to 2 full days of use while on 3G...and only use 4G when I'm downloading or possibly watching videos or movies (if we ever get Netflix access!). (Up Time is 13:52, Awake Time is 4:24, and battery is at 23%)
So, now I need a new case to accommodate the extended battery..  After doing a lot of surfing and reading, I ended up purchasing the Seidio Active case...seems like a winner for me and I'll post a review when I get it.
As an FYI to anyone who is interested, I found the best price on this case at http://www.cellpower.com.  The customer service was excellent before my purchase...very quick to respond to my emails...and I even waited until they got the case in stock before ordering.  A very good experience and the best price I could find online!

As a follow-up to my original post...and if it helps anyone else...
I did receive my Active Extended case a week or so ago.  It fits like a glove and is very snug in the holster (I bought the Active Extended Combo).  I am surprised at how smooth the case feels...almost like it could slip out of my hand...especially with how bulky the phone seems with the extended battery. Maybe it just needs a little time to break in.
Since I already had the extended case, I decided to buy the regular Seidio Active case to use with the standard battery.  To be honest, I much prefer the phone this way than with the extended battery.  No longer do I feel like I'm carrying a brick in my hand and I think I can live with 3G so my battery lasts longer.  I hope the upcoming "update/fix" helps with battery life so I can just use the phone this way all the time...we'll see.
The extended battery and Seidiio extended case will be kept aside and used on days when I know I won't have easy access to a charger...like being in meetings all day...so I guess it was worth spending the money to have them...just wish I didn't have to spend it.
As with the extended case, I ordered it through http://www.cellpower.com - another great experience.  And, the regular Seidio case fits the holster that came with the extended case...a nice little plus!
    Hope this helps!

  • Cover for extended battery?

I just got a cover for my extended battery, and now my gel silicone cover won't fit all the way on, it's gapped out at the sides. I've searched Amazon, Ebay, etc, and nothing. I've spoken to 2 Verizon reps who swear Amazon has one. I'm partial to the silicone covers because I like the way it protects my phone and I like the look of it.
Anyone out there been able to find a cover/case for an extended battery BB Bold?
    Thanks

I would like to know this too - the battery on my Bold 9650 lasts a day, normally, which is OK.  There are times when I would like an extended battery though; I had one on my previous phone and I enjoyed 2-3 days between charges!  BUT, I don't know that I'd be able to find a cover and that's something I don't want to be without.
I currently have the Otter Box Commuter cover and love it, but I'm  certain it won't fit with the extended battery, the fit is just perfect with no wiggle room at all.
Anyone?  Or do we give up a protective case in exchange for extended battery life?

  • Is it a normal case for my battery?

I bought a new compaq 610 battery online a month ago and found that the power has drained 3.85%, are there any problem occurring or it is just a normal case? I am worried.
Although a laptop battery is a consumable produt, it seems that the capacity of a brand new product should not lose so fast! The sevice manual says that it will probably lose 1% each day! In addition, I remove the battery when the computer doesn't be booted up. What's the matter? Whether does the virtual electric cause this problem? who can give me an answer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated。。。。。。

If you are in the US or Canada you can take the Macbook to an Apple Store and have them do a comprehensive diagnosis. There is no charge for that. If they decide a new battery is needed you will pay only for the battery, there is no charge for installation. Typically a battery costs about $150.
Make an appointment or you could end up waiting hours.

  • Case for Droid 2 using extended battery

What are cases that work with the Droid 2 using the extended battery? I have the blue plastic one that has the raised back to fit the extra space for the extended battery, but i feel it makes the phone look cheap. On the website, the black graphite cover says it fits the extended battery. Any advice?

Personally most of my co-workers are using the Mophie case. They are great quality but can be pretty pricey. All of my fellow co-workers have been using this case to help with the upsetting battery drain that comes with ios5. I have seen people drop the the iPhone with this case on and seems to be a good sturdy case with an extra 9 hour battery life. Anyway's here is their web site if you want to look into these cases further.

  • Case for revolution with extended battery

When will someone make a battery case to fit my revolution with the extended battery?

    Hello buster100
We all want to protect our devices so I can understand your frustrations.
At this time we nor LG have a case that accommodates the extended battery for the Revolution. I have brought your request to our Product Development Team. Hopefully that will change soon. Please check back at www.verizonwireless.com frequently as we are constantly getting new accessories in for our devices.

  • Protective Case For a 5800XM With Extended Battery...

    Hi folks
    Simple question - I hope!
The extended battery that you can get for the 5800 sounds excellent.  BUT - is there a protective case that can accommodate the extra bulk of the battery and its new, wider, rear cover?
I currently have a Proporta leather case which is excellent.  But the supplier of the extended battery (Mobile Fun) tells me that my 5800 will no longer fit in this case with the larger battery fitted.
Does anyone know of a similar protective case that will do the job with the larger battery?
    Thanks in advance.
    Very best wishes
    Simon

I to bought the extended battery from a vz store and got the standaed droid holster, pretty tight fit at first but as you use it it does loosen a little bit.  Be assured it will not fall out of the holster.  Problem withthe holster is if you then go and buy the windshield holder so you can use the droid like any other gps it WII NOT fit as the power connector will not line up.  You actually  have to take off the holster and slide in the adapter  but who wants to be chagning things all the time.  I am hopeing motorola will figure out they have a fitment issue and comes out with the correct holster and windhield mount for a droid x with their extended battery installed.  Who ever thought a sill mm meant so much???
You gotta be really careful though.  My friend has a leather bound case identical to mine.  They got it to fit over the extended battery, but the fit was so tight it broke off a holding tab on the case when they tried to remove the case.

  • Extended battery case for the Thunderbolt

I just got the Seidio BD4-HKR5HTMECX CONVERT Extended Life Batteries for HTC ThunderBolt - Retail Packaging - Black from Amazon. Cost about 49.00. Must of been designed for the military because it is total protected. Has a cover for the camera, charging port, and covers the volume and on and off switch. Amazing. Aside good job. It was worth the wait.

Hi fletcher55. I'm glad you're getting the extra battery life out of the extended battery. It is pretty normal for a phone to get warm while charging or in use. I double checked for any known issues on extreme heat on the Thunderbolt with an extended or standard battery and the good news is that the phone seems to have no other reports like what you've mentioned. Where did you get the extended HD battery from? If you're using a battery or charger that was purchased from a third party (not Verizon Wireless or HTC) there's a better chance there may be some extra warmth to the device that may even cause the phone to malfunction. If it continues to get extremely hot, I would recommend returning the battery to the place of purchase. If it was at a Verizon store, please make sure to bring the phone, all your batteries, and chargers with too.
    Thank you

  • IXtreme iPhone extended battery case

I have been searching for something like this for sooo long. I have an iPhone 4 and I hate the battery life. Im sure anyone that has an iPhone 4 knows about the battery life as a heavy user!
I came across a place called iXtreme Accessories, that makes iPhone 4 battery cases. I bought a case a week ago to try it out, and it is hands down, the best extended battery case I have seen made for the iPhone 4! Its very thin and sleek, and it comes with replacement back housing. It offers twice the battery life. I figured I would throw it out there for anyone who is looking for an extended battery case that doesnt add a lot of bulk and has to have a different charging cable. I posted a like and an image of what it looks like.

mophie makes a couple for the iphone5 - i have the mophie air - works fine but a little hard to get the phone out of the case since syncing doesnt work with the case (only charging - according to Mophie) - it uses the lightning connector- there are lots of others
ivyskin makes a case for the iphone5 with a detachable battery - so you only have the extra weight when you have the battery attached - it also has a buitin screen protector
    www.ivyskin.com
i had one for my 4S - pretty good case but the company has lousy customer service
a company called Third Rail Mobility (www.thirdrailmobility) has a similar case for the 4S and is workin on one for the iPhone 5 but i dont think its available yet
Also a search in Amazon for iphone 5 battery cases will show lots of others

What is the best iphone 5 extended battery case?  I had the mophie for the 4 but was hoping to find one that utilized the lighting connector.  Would love to hear people thoughts and recommendations on this.  Thanks alot!

  • Extended Battery protection Case

i am looking for ideas! i have the otter box on it and now i got the extended battery and new back plate. how are you guys protection your unit with the use of the extended battery?

I have had an extended battery in my Charge phone for well over a year.  First I had the 3500 mAh battery (black color) and now the 3800 mAh battery (Orange color).  Both have worked great.
I have used the following case and ALSO a safety lanyard/strap. This combination has worked great for me.
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/lexi-brook/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2654
The safety lanyard/strap connects to the phone at the upper left corner just above the two volume control buttons.  Mine is a Cotton Cell Phone Hand strap like the ones in this site (top row third one to the right).
    http://www.cellphoneshop.net/rinflasandvi.html
When you set the phone into the belt case the strap folds back across the top edge of the phone and when the flap in folded down it holds it there until you open the flap to remove the phone.
BTW, it makes it safer when you remove the phone from the case because your fingers are already holding the strap in case you fumble and the phone slides out of you hand.  In fact, even when I am using the phone the strap is around my finders just in case!!!
If you or anyone else you know has ever lost a cell phone to a toilet when using a belt mounted case this may interest you.  Look at the photos of back of this case as shown in the above eBay URL.  When you put it on your belt put the belt through the middle clip first, then put it through your belt loop, and finally put it through the left most loop that is on back of the case.  See attached photo.  This is called toilet proofing your phone because the belt mounted case & phone combination cannot fall off whether your belt is buckled or unbuckled!

  • A LG Lucid Extended Battery Case?

I need a case for my phone with an extended battery? I cannot find one.. would someone like to link me to one?

It's not very often that cases are sold for phones with the extended battery and the Lucid, to my knowledge, was not a big seller, which means case demand will be even lower.

  • The extended battery and Verizon's extended battery case

Okay I gave in a while ago and got the extended battery and then I was able to get the extended battery case when it began available in the store.  While the phone is heavier, I have become adjusted to the extra size.  I don't plan to use the extended battery all the time, but it is nice to have some days.
Here are some comparison pictures with a Texas Instruments TI-89 Calculator as reference.

So I take that you have OK life with standard battery with 4g off and only on 3g?
Yes I do - at least for what I need it for on a daily basis.  Unplug it around 7:30 every morning and still have about 25%-30% by the end of the day.  I'm not a heavy user.  The trouble with keeping it on 4G - even with the extended battery - is that my work location is on the border of a 3G/4G area - so it seemed to be switching back and forth all day long and sucking the life out of the battery.  I find it easier to just keep it on 3G and use the standard battery rather than have to carry around a brick all day.
i'm in a great 4g area, but it still drains the battery pretty quick. when i leave it on 3g i can easily get through the day with the stock battery. if i leave it on 4g, then i can get about 8-10 hours (with not much more than 1 hour of actual use) before i have to charge it again. so i typically leave it on 3g and manually switch to 4g if i want to use skype or stream video or download something large (and have no available wifi). i'll switch it to 4g if i check and have 10 or so updates for apps, as it will download and install all of the updates in less than a minute, and then i just switch it back to 3g.
