Cash Management Report FF7B - drill-down from planning levels to AP/AR OIs

Hi
I'm configuring cash management and have created all planning levels and groups needed.
All master data, ie GL accounts, vendors and customers, have the correct planning level or group.
I've created all the groupings etc that I need.
I'm running the reports FF7A and FF7B. I have two questions and problems.
1. When running the Liquidity Forecsat for customers and vendors I drill-down to the standard PL or SL planning levels for AP and AR postings respectively. Then I drill into the planning groups correctly  (E1-E9 and R1-R8). But when I try to drill into the cash management detail records  (or is it the AP/AR line items?) I get "Memo Records: List - List Contains No Data". This happens every time. Should I now see the AP or AP line items? Or should I see some cash management memo records? I have deleted all the cash management data several times and recreated but I still get this problem  (using reports RFFDDL00 and RFFDKU00)
When I do the same for purchase orders, purchase requisitions or sales orders I see a Memo Records List which agrees with the previous planning level total and I can then drill into the actiual POs, PRs or SOs from this list without an issue.
2. When running the Cash Position and I do the drill-down to the GL Line Items, I get an enormous list which does not just show the total of items at the previous planning level. Why is this please? Example: a bank account with a balance of £2,000  (shown on the panning level) but with 000's of line items totalling say £5m. Again I have deleted the CM data and recreated but without any improvement to the problem.
Any help anyone can give me with these issues will be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Wayne

Hi
I have the same trouble with Tcode FF7B.  There´s a message "Memo Records: List - List Contains No Data"; bit in the TcodeFF7A, it runs OK.  The message appears just witn Tcode FF7A.
Also, There´s all TR data in tables FDSB for GL accounts, FDSR and FDFIEP for customers/vendors.
Can you help me??  can you solved this issue?
Tanks for your Help

  • OBIEE 11g Report-When drilling down to lower level, totals are not matching

    Hi All,
I am creating a report in Analytics 7.9.6.3 , OBIEE 11g - Let’s say Budget Cost/Actual Cost based on the Date Dimension
Have selected the Fiscal Year Dim, Fact Budget Cost, Fact Actual Cost
    FY BCost ACost
    2011 100 120
    2012 150 140
    Total 250 260
But here when I am drilling down from Year to Quarter and Period - The values are not matching with the totals....
    FY FY Qrt BCost ACost
    2011 2011 Q1 80 100
    2011 Q2 100 90
    2011 Q3 110 120
    2011 Q4 90 130
    Total 380 440
    Fiscal Year, Fiscal Quarter Budget Cost and Actual Cost are not returning correct results – When selecting cost's by fiscal year, or filtering on a specific fiscal year, the amount returned does not equal the fiscal year total;
when I am drilling down to Quarter and Period Level the BCost & ACosts are bumping the Numbers as above and not matching with totals
    Any suggestions?

Check out the query in both the times.Execute against database and try to sum the data for quarter/period and compare it with Year data.
Just try to differentiate is it a report total that is getting wrong or the data in the database table itself is getting wrong stored.
Mark as helpful if it helps.

  • Error Message appears when drilling down from a report.

    Hi,
I am using CR XI R2.
I have an rpt file that displays a chart from a sub report.
I tested it on the CR designer and report viewer - works ok.
When I display this report in my .Net application, I get an error message when drilling down from this chart : "The Report Application Server failed"
When looking at the log files I see this error message:
    4 19 13:11:14.770 5336 5564 (\servers\ras\dtsagent\reporthandler.cpp:11622): CReportHandler::buildReportViewerError: CSResultException thrown.   ErrorSrc:"CRPE" FileName:"\servers\ras\dtsagent\reporthandler.cpp" LineNum:11618 ErrorCode:997 ErrorMsg:"" DetailedErrorMsg:""
This is a Viewer error - but when drilling down from the Report Viewer I don't get this exception.
Does anyone know what this mean?

    Too strange and my require a phone support case;
    http://store.businessobjects.com/store/bobjamer/DisplayProductByTypePage&parentCategoryID=&categoryID=11522300
    Three ideas:
    1) Install CR designer on one of the boxes where this does not work and try to run the report there
    2) Add a line to your code and save out the report just after your database logon once ( .saveAs). try to run this report in the CR designer.
    3) Use the [modules|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252802008E/modules.zip] utility to compare the runtime - both CR and db client between computers that work and those that do not.

  • Drill down from the financial reports

When generating a P&L or Balance sheet, it is not possible to view what transaction the amount is made of. you have to either generate a general ledger report or have to chart of account window open at the same time. Simple programs like quickbooks have the functionality to do drill down from any report. we have multiple customers for whom this situation is very aggravating.
We hope you can find a solution or make this part of a new release.
    Thank you

    Hi
I hope you will get answer from this solved using pop up window for drill down

  • FF7A- Cash management Report

    Hi Experts,
After executing the Cash management and forecast report in transaction code FF7A, we drill down in the sub-ledger-it shows correct figures then we drilldown further to FI figures here also it shows correct figures but when we drilldown to external and internal customers and vendors, we found that the SAP system shows incorrect figures, it does not match with the figures of the report from which we drilled down from.
we have checked all the relevant available SAP notes but either they are implemented or are not applicable.
we are using 4.6C version of SAP SP upgraded till 43 for 4.6C.
    can somebody guide?
    Thanks in advance
    PAB

    Hi David,
without having need to go into some Customizing of specific Custom development, you can specify time period not only in days, but also in weeks, months and combination of all mentioned before, so I'm sure you can cover period of even more than 60 days. When you run FF7A, there is a group of fields called Increment in selection criteria, where you can specify your variant of timeline, also another field Number of Columns, where max. number is a bit more than 20 columns (or days) if I'm not wrong (do not have access to system at moment).
E.g. you can show first 2 weeks in days, then next 2 months in weeks and the rest period in months, which makes more than 2 months.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Cash Management Report Requirement

    Hello All
We have a requirement where  the users want to track thier receivables and forecast cash.
They would like to see someting like
Customer.... due before period, due during period, due after period,  Sales order due before period, during period and after period.
Can anyone please suggest the best way to proceed for this kind of reporting.
    Thanks
    Sanjeev

    Hi Sanjeev,
standard Cash Management reports that SAP offers are transactions FF7A (Cash positions) and FF7B (Liquidity forecast). Apart from it you can create own reports using transaction TRM0.

  • CO-PA Report: Incorrect Drill-Down to Line Item Report result (KE32 / KE34)

    Hi There
We have created a CO-PA report and assigned the ability to call up the CO-PA Line Item report (KE24).
When we drill-down from a cell within the report for an actual amount for a specific period, the line item report displays the line-items from the prior period?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    hi
add another columns and populate the formula as required.

  • Cannot drill down from 2nd lowest level to lowest level of hierarchy

In my item master hierarchy, I cannot drill down from the 2nd lowest level (Product Class) to the lowest level (Item Detail).
When I add another level between these 2 levels, then I can drill down from Product Class to this new level, but I cannot drill down from this new level to the lowest level.
Also, if I set the preferred drill path at any level to drill down to the lowest level, it instead drills down to next level down intead of of drilling to the lowest level.
Any thoughts as to why I would not be able to drill to the lowest level of this hierarchy?
    Thanks,
    Travis

OK, next check, any security in place on the presentation columns which would make the lowest level column unavailable to the user account?
Are you running the report as Administrator?

  • Drill down from a line graph? Make the entire graph click-able?

Guys, i can drill down from other types of charts except a line chart.
Is there anything that is special about the line chart?
Also, can i make the entire graph click-able? So, instead of clicking on a bar to trigger a linked report, can the whole chart be a link basically?
    Thanks for your help

There is not special with the line graph..... Just click on the data symbol to drill or navigate. These settings can be found under the "additional Charting Option" button.

Thank you for all. I found the cause of the problem. In our network and security configuration in front of OBIEE service we have IIS. User connect to port of IIS (9704) and IIS connect to OBIEE. In make for more control of connect and actions.
When I connect direct to OBIEE the problem is gone.
Supposedly IIS created the problem when I click on reports

  • DRILL DOWN FROM GL INTO AP, AR, PO & INV SUBLEDGERS FROM ORACLE DISCOVERER

    Hi,
One of the key functionality , We are looking for ability to query / Drill down from GL into AP, AR, PO & Inv Subledgers from Oracle Discoverer in the Oracle Applications. We are trying to create workbook that will allow users to see summary of GL Balances, then the ability to retrieve transaction details from subledgers via GL. It looks like this is not possible using seeded folders from seeded business area in the applications EUL. It looks like we need to create custom folders to get these sort of reports.
Can this be done using seeded EUL? If yes, Can you please let me know the process and steps involved.
Incase of custom folders, Could you please let me know what are the main tables/views involved for retrieving transactional detail from subledgers like AP, AR, PO & INv via a GL query and relations from the custom folders to Journal Entries and Journal Lines folders.
I highly appreciate your advice on this subject. if anyone has Business Areas and worksheets already constructed that they could send me this would be most welcomed.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
    Regards,
    Venkanna

    Hi
With my little knowledge in Discoverer, I feel this is highly cumbersome process from the EUL to create drilldown to Subledgers using Discoverer 4i.You may have to create and Link several tables and views to get the same.
The Standard drilldown functionality in Oracle works with GL_SL_LINK_ID and Reference columns populated in GL_JE_HEADERS and GL_JE LINES to link the GL Journals to Supplier Payment, Invoice, Inventory Receipt to PO and similarly for other modules.
    Hope this helps

  • ERPI: how to set up drill through from Planning to EBS

    Hi,
When you guys know how to set up drill through from Planning to EBS through ERPI ??
I encountered the following message when I tried to drill :
no drill through reports found at this location
I think I didn't set up the drill through functionality properly.
    Regards,
    Eddy

Can you check the log file for any errors? Also, check if the drill regions are created in the application. You can navigate to process details in ERPI and select the show log link for the corresponding process id. That should indicate if the drill regions were created on the target.
    Thanks,
    Bala
