Hi there,
I have a problem with the configuration of 3850 for 802.1X.
The switch was changed from someone on the "New-Style" and I can not therefore use the commands known to me.
Switch_1 # authentication display config-mode
Current configuration mode is new-style
I want to move, for example, a user who can not auth. against the RADIUS in a Guest VLAN.
Old commands:
- Authentication event no-response action authorize vlan xxx
or
- Dot1x guest-vlan xxx
Output for the command: "authentication event no-response action authorize vlan xx" is:
Switch_1 (config-if) # authentication event no-response action authorize vlan 103
Command deprecated (authentication event no-response action authorize vlan 103) - use cpl config
I think, unfortunately, no reasonable explain how I configure the "new style"?
Better yet, how can I switch back to legacy mode?

New style keyboard replace by old one

I bought the new 3gs and when I put it to iTunes to sync the info from my old phone it changed the new style of keyboard back to the old one! I want the new one back, anyone know how and still be able to keep my music and contacts?

Online banking statement and credit card statements will not display in FF 4.0 on either Win 7 or XP. Falling back to 3.6 fixes problem on both computers and sites.

After upgrading to FF 4.0 I am not able to access or display my bank statements or credit card statements. I have a laptop running Win 7 and a desktop running Win XP and have same problem on both. Statements are in Adobe PDF. Upgraded Adobe to vers. 10 at banks suggestion but did not help. I have now fallen back to FF 3.6 on both PC's, and it now works on both PC's, one running Adobe Reader 9 and the other running Adobe 10.
Additionally, my email provider (bbwi.net) "Squirrel Mail" times out and logs me off every 15 minutes or so in FF 4.0, even when I am actively composing mail. Falling back to FF 3.6 also fixed this problem

How do i create o new style in ppages?

I would like to have a list style that adds no extra space after the line feed and another list style that adds 1/2 line after the line feed.
How do I create these new styles in Pages?

We no longer have line feeds because we know longer have fixed line lengths. That is why it is called a text string and it just wraps to fit.
Your model was back when the text was monospaced and there were 80 green characters per line on a black screen. I sure hope nobody is using ANSI anymore.
Irregardless of the ancient history, you are talking about paragraph returns, not line feeds, because that is the only place space after applies.
I don't have an iPad, which should be in a separate forum, but assume it all just is applied via paragraph styles wherever they may be.

Error when installing Lion on empy HD: "Couldn't find app store version, falling back to hardcoded"

I've run in to a problem that is making me tear the hair from my head. I'm hoping for your help!
Short story:
I'm trying to install OS X Lion on my 27" iMac.
I've erased the HD using Disc Tool in recovery.
HD shows no errors.
I've tried Internet Recovery (it loads up, but wont start the installation)
I've tried creating a recovery usb on another similar iMac, and use it on this. Same error, only differance is it keeps "loading" when installing, but nothing happens. Same error in log.
When I try to start the Reinstall I get an error in the installation log that goes something like this:
Install Mac OS X Lion[354:9c03] Couldn't find app store version, falling back to hardcoded
Can not connect to /var/run/systemkeychaincheck.socket: No such file or directory
Apple Care suggested:
Trying another network (doesn't work).
Install with the original Snow Leopard DVD first, then upgrade (can't do that, the DVD is lost and a DVD from another friend is not working)
What can I do to get around this error?
Someone suggested buying a usb with Snow Leopard from the apple store. Do I really have to buy a NEW operating system because the recovery doesn't work? Would I have to pay to upgrade to Lion again?

Follow AppleCare's instructions on re-installing Snow Leopard and re-installing Lion. Your friends disc won't work because the discs are machine specific. You will have to get a replacement set of your original Install Discs from AppleCare for a nominal cost.

Can this router fall back to 3g if 4g is not available?

We recently purchased this router to work remotely. However some of the places we are at have only 3G service. Phone seem to work with 3G receiving data, but our 4G LTE router will not connect. I've looked through the setting in the router, but can't seem to find anyway to have it fall back to 3G if 4G isn't available.

The VZW 4G LTE router does not appear to have tie-ins to the old GSM (3G Only) network. It may be able to fall back to 3G while connected to the new SIM card network, but there are no ways to control this behavior from the User Guide.
If you are only within range of a 3G only signal then I would not expect this device to work. The silver lining here is that 4G LTE is supposed to replace the entire 3G Verizon footprint. Eventually anywhere that you have 3G only service will have a 4G LTE signal and your router will be able to work.
If you need an immediate solution from VZW it would have to be to swap the 4G LTE router and go with a Mobile Hotspot instead since they can connect to 3G only at this time.

AP Fall back issue for WLC

AP failover occurred but the fall back option like primary WLC comes up it does not register with primary all the ap still in secondary. I enable Fall back option also as per the document.
could you guide me how i can troubleshoot this issue..

the meaning is the secondary WLC is not realsing the IP's for client eventhough the SSId match with extract DHCP scope. DHCP scope is not overlap...
Important.
Primary box is new one with 4.2.99 but the old box had 4.1.x b4 the failover the old box was working & released the DHCP scope for the client. Once we upgraded the old box with 4.2.99 (Failover we need to have both the box with same version) even it is not releasing the DHCP scope if i used as standalone device also.
My doubt is
1. New box if i used as a stand alone it is releasing the DHCP scope for the client
2. Both the new & old box has the same configuration
3. If i used old box as a stand alone device why it is not releasing the DHCP scope (with the same IOS & configuration working perfectly on new box)
4. This issue occured after upgrade the IOS on old box.
Can anyone help me out at earliest.

Connection fall back to hub-n-spoke

Hi,
I wonder if anyone here knows the answer... I am trying the p2p sample code. Every time, users can log in with the RTMFP protocol. But as soon as they start the audio or video, the connections fall back to bub n spoke mode. All Flash players are 10.0 or 10.1. I am using the source code for 10.0. and the SDK is updated. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess I need to clarify one thing: it does states 'Current connection: Hub-spoke' in the right panel (I didn't give you the accurate text because it was based on my memory, sorry). And this text appeared whenevery a second user connect to the room (flash player 10.1, same network) . I think the connection did fall back, as the souce code of the text change is the following:

I think the isP2P is false when the switching happened.

AS5400 IP fall back routing without Call Manager

my system is using AS5400+SLT+PGW, but without call manager.so i guess i have limited functions of Cisco voip, but so far all is well
my question is:
how can i do IP fall back routing to the same destination, with 2 target IPs.lets say my destination with 2 target IP1:192.168.1.1 and IP2:192.168.1.2
primary IP is 1.1 and is in dial-peer 1
calls will be sent via dial-peer 1.
in the event of IP1 fail, how can IP2 will take over as the new primary target?
and when IP1 back to service, it will re route backt to IP1
came across of using dial-preference, but not sure how it works and if it fits my scenario
currently , just pointing to IP1.dont have IP2 configured anywhere.and the only fall-back routing i have now is frm my PSTN switch (which is different frm IP switches)

Fall back font, when font is not english?

What is the font that pages falls back to when the font selected is not english. For example when I choose Apple Braile or Baghdad fonts, it falls back to some english font. I like the font it falls back to a lot and was wondering which one it is.

I agree that it's Lucida Grande in these cases. You can determine the system's fallbacks by using TextEdit, which actually changes the font style (just check the font panel) instead of just changing what font is used for rendering.
For completeness, I'll note that you can get other fallback fonts for other characters.
For example, Hiragino Kaku Gothic ProN W3 is the fallback for Japanese scripts, and Geeza Pro is the fallback for Arabic.

Basically, you need to configure CUCM for this site (SRST)
Apply the SRST Site to the Device Pool
Configure the router for SRST
Reboot the phones so they are aware of the new SRST router
Setup the dial peer you want to use for dialing inbound or outbound or both. Simply using 9T usually is fine for outbound, prioritize 911 and9911 of course
Inbound, you will need to normalize or strip digits if you have 4 digits extensions, otherwise when the call comes inbound, its 10 digits and the router will not know what to do with it.
Voicemail rollover is complicated and sometimes not needed
Remember, SRST fallback and then re-registration to CUCM takes a few minutes. Its not immediate. So be patient in your testing until you are familiar with SRST

MPV: hwdec=vaapi fails and falls back to software decoding

I've always been confused by setting up hardware decoding - but a couple of recent threads reminded me of this nagging issue and I took another shot at it. Yet despite all the claims that mpv should support vaapi, it is simply not working here. I've followed the instructions here yet mpv falls back to software decoding every time. I've been searching for related issues, but I can't seem to find any reports from intel graphics users.
The output from mpv:
$ mpv --vo=opengl --hwdec=vaapi video.mpg

Mpv's man page suggests that vo=vaapi should only be used for old hardware, though it doesn't specify how old. I gave that a try too. That avoids the GLX error, yet still falls back to software decoding:

I have all the drivers/packages listed on the intel graphics wiki page.
I must be missing something obvious here - the guides seem to suggest this should 'just work' yet mpv keeps falling back to software decoding.

I was hoping you'd chime in on this one Gusar. Thanks to both of your for the suggestions. So far no joy, though. I installed libva-intel-driver-g45-h264 and tried again and received identical output as in my initial post. I also tried xf86-video-intel-git which also gave no change.
To be clear, the video plays just fine, but it just relies on software decoding.

As I'm pretty ignorant about video drivers, I'm curious if there are some video files that just would not be able to be hardware-decoded? I've tried a small number of different videos and am getting the same results with all of them, but if there are video-file constraints, are there any sample/testing videos around I should use for debugging?

Sorry for disappointing but a new ipod will not be out this fall as ipod 5g has already been launched few months back so you gotta wait for sometime
