It eventually booted to the older IOS. Is this not a good IOS for this switch?

have you tried putting
boot system bootflash:cat4500-ipbasek0-mz.122-31.SG.bin
taking out the slot0:.
This how I have my 4507 and 4503 configured.

  • Deleted mail shows up again, need to force quit, won't load new messages.

    I've been having email issues after upgrading to OSX 10.8.2  Everything is fine with first opened and then after a bit starts to act funky.  I will delete messages and they will pop back up, it won't load new emails unless I shut it down and restart.  It also won't close unless I force quit.  This has been happening for a while.  I am using GoDaddy for my email server and the Mac Mail App.  I mainly use one email (the godaddy email) and have many, many "mailboxes/folders" in that account.  I wasn't sure if the amount of "mailboxes/folders" was why I am having the issues, or the best way to go about saving them was.   I'd like to be able to save the actual "mailbox/folders" as they are organized by project, but noticed the archive function doesn't let you put in folders.   I included a screen shot of how my innox is set up in case that helps.    Thank you for help, let me know if there's anything else I should include.

    There is an issue with upgrading to Revel 2.3.2 on iOS.  We are aware of this issue and are working with Apple to resolve it as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. In the mean time, you can still access your photos on adoberevel.com from a browser and from our mac, win8, and android apps.

  • Home Sharing won't load on iOS devices - works fine on AppleTV

    I've been struggling with Home Sharing and cannot understand why it simply won't work. I have a relatively large library (25,000 songs/300movies/1000 tv shows). I'm running all Apple devices, all with the latest OS/software versions. AEBS is my router.
    Home Sharing has always worked flawlessly from iTunes on my Mac to AppleTV.
    When I load up the Videos App on and any of my several iPhones and iPads in the house, my Shared Library always appears...
    ...however, if I tap to load it...the spinning circle appears and that's where it ends. It will spin endless for several minutes until it Fails or I stop it.
    What could be the problem here? I've tried all the basic troubleshooting of turning HS on/off, in iTunes and the iOS devices, restarted every device plenty of times...Nothing.
    It used to work intemittently with iOS 6, but not at all on iOS 7.

    Contrary to the marketing, Music or Video using Home Sharing simply does not work on the iPad. I have spent hours on the phone with Apple Care. There is no solution. If you really need to watch video, buy an Apple TV and a small monitor or some other setup. The problem is not with Home Sharing, which works fine between my computers. Neither is it with the Wi-Fi, which I use with the Remote app to load and play the same library that Music stalls on. The problem is with the Music and Video apps, which can only load shared libraries intermittently.

  • Can't send email; Safari won't load new pages

    Mountain Lion has broken mail (smtp) and Safari is so bad, I've had to install Chrome. Is anyone else getting the same kind of bad experience with 10.8? I have spoken to my ISP and my settings are ok according to them (O2), but I can't send emails from the Mail app. As for Safari, even half of Apple's own pages won't load. I'll be reverting to Lion from a cloned disc if I can't get this fixed.

    Exactly the same is happening to me and I'm with O2,all the settings are correct as well.I spoke to one of the tech people at o2 and they said they'd received about 30 calls about the same thing,thank God I've got Gmail and the iPhone works perfectly.This is rather serious,please Apple do something about it urgently

    I upgraded to ios 5 and now my Numbers docs won't load.  They appear only as thumbnails with a loading bar but they won't actually load on my iPad or iPhone.  I don't use iWork on the Mac.   I've reset iCloud several times but my docs just won't load.

  • Safari won't load new web sites after one or two are viewed

    I open Safari, view my homepage, go to another website, then when I try to go to another site after that, Safari won't load it. The curser is still a black arrow, the new address in the address bar has the blue loading stripe on it that only fills the address 1/4 of the way and no further. I have to quit Safari and then reopen it to go to another site. Also, it won't quit. I click quit and get the spinning ball for a long time so I have to Force Quit.
    Today I updated Safari to 3.2.3 I was running 3.2.1. I am on Mac OS 10.4.11. I thought maybe the update would fix this problem. But it didn't.
    Any help for this pretty computer illiterate user would be most appreciated!!

    Hey Hawaiian Starman! Aloha!
    Thanks so much for trying to help. I looked at Joe's problem and your reply to go to OnyX. I clicked on the link. Am I supposed to download something, or just work off that site? I clicked on the icon that said maintenance. It opened a window that had the following boxes and the Xs are the ones that were preselected.
    Maintenance: (X) Repair Permissions
    Execute Maintenance Scripts
    Cleaning: (X) System Cache
    (X) Application Cache
    (X) Fonts Cache
    (X) Logs and CrashReporter
    (X) Temporary items
    Rebuild:
    (X) Launch Services
    dlyd's shared cache
    Display of folders content
    Spotlight Index
    Mail-mailboxes Index
    The Xs are the defaults I guess. But I wasn't able to deselect any and choose another?
    Hey Hawaiian Starman, I think Apple should have you on their payroll! You are sweet to help!
    Many thanks for your help and patience.

  • My Skype won't load new messages

    Whenever I open Skype, my group conversations take a very long time to load new messages or they do not load new messages at all. This is particularly annoying when I am trying to communicate with people at work or family members. I am using the latest Skype update and would really like a solution to my problem.

    It is ridiculous. Takes 10 to 15 tries to get it to load. The chat msgs is a big issue.

  • IPod touch won't load new songs

    My iPod touch won't add any more files, although there is plenty of space.  It gets stuck on "preparing to update."  What gives?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync/delete all music and resync
    To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • What happens with IMESSAGE? since i got new ios 5.1 it doesnt work fine in my iphone 4 and change the sending o receiving from others to mail o cell phone constantly...

    since i got the new ios 5.1 on my i4 imessage doesnt work with other iphones, for example, my boyfriend send me and imessage and i get it as it email address and when i try to send him one, it goes as text!!, i dont understand.... this has been happened from both of us actualizated iphone to ios 5.1 ... and it has been changed constantly....

    And yes, the Samsung has no issues on it's end. It sends, receives all regular sms texts from any phones that aren't using iMessage. Sorry, I didn't see your reply.
    To update, I also just phoned Apple this morning, there's not much they could do at all. My personal opinion is that the number that was recycled (when I got it changed just very recently for the Android) must have somehow previously been linked to an pre-existing Apple ID. There was nothing they could do. They had me do numerous things that unfortunately had no successful results.
    They even had me unregister my product from the Apple website, again, no success.
    He did, however, say that there is an update going through beta testing at the moment that should, more than likely, have a patch in it for this particularily known issue since it's been an issue for awhile. So within a couple of months when it's released, I'm hoping this will fix it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed until then.
    Turning iMessage off is the temporary solution that works for me. So I'm happy enough for that. Anyone else who would want to text her, would have to do the same.

  • Dll created in visual studion with /CLR option won't load by cvi

    i have created a small dll, which holds 1 exported function.
    The dll is created in VisualStudio2008, sp1
    With option /CLR, targetting .NET framework 2.0
    The export is like below:
    extern "C"  int __declspec(dllexport) __stdcall testHelloWorld(void)
      System::Console::WriteLine("Hello world") ;
      System::Console::WriteLine("Hit the any key") ;
      System::Console::ReadKey() ;
      return 0 ;
    The following code should run this dll, from cvi 9.0.1 (375)
    extern int __stdcall testHelloWorld(void) ;
    typedef int (__stdcall * HelloWorldPtr) (void) ;
    void main(void)
    { HMODULE hLib = 0 ;
      HelloWorldPtr doit ;
      SetStdioPort (HOST_SYSTEM_STDIO);
      SetStdioWindowVisibility (1);
      hLib = LoadLibrary("CppTestClr.DLL")  ;
      (FARPROC)doit = GetProcAddress(hLib,"_testHelloWorld@0");
      doit() ;
    //  testHelloWorld();
    When i run the dll with run time linkage (as show above) there is no error, all ok.
    When i try to run the dll with load time linkage (line 'testHelloWordld' linked-in ),
    cvi shows an error 'A non-debuggable thread caused a general protection fault at address...'.
    This message is shown before the main function is reached.
    Visual studio has no problem in running the code from a win32 console application.
    Labview runs the code without problems.
    Why won't cvi load the dll ??
    tnx.

    A solution will be available, but due to the complexity of this issue LabWindows/CVI 2010 will not work for you out of the box - a configuration will have to be made.  I've made a note to come back and update this post when LabWindows/CVI 2010 releases with instructions concerning this configuration.

    I'm an SSP member, so i'll receive the new version automatically.
    Maybe it's a good idea to also create an entry in the release notes of version 2010.
    These are my first attempts in using c++ dll's as a .NET wrapper for cvi.
    But it looks very promising. Comparing to the .NET wrappers in cvi it's much more convenient (native way of working).
    I would like to be able to use this as a generic way of working.

  • Lightdm with unity-greeter won't load

    I've been attempting to install lightdm and the unity greeter, and I'm a bit stuck here.
    I've installed the lightdm-ubuntu and lightdm-unity-greeter packages from the AUR.  It starts up normally, but there is no gear available to choose session type, and logging in causes the DM to just restart and go back to the logon page.
    I was able to use lightdm and lightdm-gtk-greeter successfully.  Also, running startx from another tty successfully starts my session (in my case, xmonad).  I've attached my configuration files and log files, in case anyone can make heads or tails of them.

  • Iod Touch Problem with January Update - Won't load!! Tried Everything/

    Dear all, Just thought I'd try my luck here for some help on the January upgrade. I'm experiencing all of the problems that everyone else are having but the usual fixes don't work. So I've upgraded my Touch to 1.1.3 and Itunes to 7.6.
    The Download button wasnt visible so I reset my Touch. I was then able to purchase the touch and it downloaded. Then nothing. I had oricinally Synced with a different computer and had manual Syncronisation enabled. So, I reset my Touch again, set it to auto Sync and rebooted, re-synced, everything. Hours of trying different variations of restoring, syncing, etc. When I put my Ipod back in the cradle, I go to the purchase upgrade screen. If I hit "No Thanks, I get an error. If I try to purchase again, I get the message that it's already purchased. I've checked my download history and the upgrade is listed there.
    I'm a windows/Intel guy and was starting to realise how cool Apple stuff was but well, now I think I'm starting to come back around.
    Any suggestions ? Thanks to all and good luck!

    Hi EC, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either. I've tried on two diferent computers too. Itunes 7.6 install, reset Touch, reinstall software, sync and no luck. I've double checked that my computer is authorised an that the January upgrade is in my purchase history. Even reset my touch via iTunes and via the Settings panel on the Ipod.
    The only thing left that I can think of is to create a new account and re-purchase the upgrade. However, Im still not totally at ease with paying for an upgrade 2 weeks after the purchase, and Im not ready to pay for it twice.
    Apple are you guys really this bad at running a business ? I will certainly with-hold purchasing any new product of yours in the future.
    Cheers
    RS
