CAT2 - making user defined feild visible in profile

Hello ,
am facing a issue ,
I need to create a New profile in CAC1 [ done] by coping the already existing profile.
IN already existing profile we have made DISPLAY settings to "CATS_ADDFI-FIELD1" - Additional field 1. This is defined as ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION. This is working fine for existing profile in CAT2 tim sheet booking. In CAC5 the Activity description is defined against YYACTVITY.fine.
Now how to make Activity description column visible in DATA ENTRY AREA in CAT2 for my new defined view . Currently I am not able to see as its in invisible mode.
Help me as its very urgent

Solution :
I could solve the problem . In CAC2 , I have selected screens thru INFLUENCINg tab and selected the profile. But I have not set chnages in global template . Means when u go in CAC2 , there is a global template for data entry profile , This needs to be chnages first and then chnages in Influencing tab .
Now my second questions:
My client needs sowm shuffle in data entry area for Eg: Work center should follow behind wage type. I have request them that create the changes and then save under new Varient . My client is not happy with VARIANT creation in CAT2 nor making it default as global.They dont wanna create any Varient but they wannt to fix the feild selection as they desired under BASIC SETTINGS.
Can we do this ? Can we chnage the feild selection under BASIC SETTINGS.?? or is theer any configuration to assign the columns to our desired way in WORK LIST or DATA ENTRY AREA??
Please advice.

I have utilised 3 user fields & activated order enhancement tab. I could find these three fields in report IW37N & IW49N. I m using ECC 6.0 EHP4. Try to set the layout & look for fields - user field for quantity in the layout. For this please maintain some data in these user fields of some orders and then check for those orders in t code- IW37N & IW49n.

I am not new to JSP and I develop a web based geographical information system. I use MapViewer Application Server (Oracle) as run time environment. I do not encounter any problems in running JSP files. However, I have my own package under WEB-INF/classes/tr/com/bizyaptik/cgs and
when importing a Class in my JSP file, the web server says:

I use JDeveloper editor, worked hard to find the neccessary configuration but I failed. I also inserted ...... WEB-INF/classes into my classath but it didn't work.
So, could anybody tell me the main concept of introducing packages and class files to a web server ?

I don't know if your error is about a missing class from your custom package, ... what track did you followed to say that?
To use your package in the implementation of you web service, you should only follow the rules of making a web application: put your package jar in your \lib directory inside WEB-INF/ or your package classes unjared in classes (also in WEB-INF/).
As I already said, I have doubts that your error should be originated from a missing class from your package, but:
-try to see the logs (errors?) when you deploy your web service that could give a hint about the problem.
-try to see if you can access your endpoint through your browser to see if there is a online status
-display your config/WSDL file, and the steps you did to build your web service.

Making User defined Tax condition

Dear all,
I have the above scenario:
We are using two service tax JVRD(VAT of 5%) & JVSC(CST OF 2%) both on same material and on same vendor.
If material goes out of state for same vendor then JVRD(VAT of 5%).
and
If material is used local i.e within same state for same vendor then JVSC(CST OF 2%).
So i have to change the settings so while creation of P.O user should put service TAX but rightnow
it is picking both JVRD & JVSC on P.O.
So plese help to resolve and to understand this issue.

As you already created two condition types JVRD(VAT & JVSC(CST ) and Now just assign Access sequence JST1 to it in OBYZ t.codes
Now create two tax code(v1) for VAT & (c1) for CST in FTXP.
Now maintain condition record in FV11 with Plant/Vendor/Material where you are able to maintain different value of taxes for condition type with different vendor with tax code. Just try with system, you will get better result.
For example:
Tax code v1
4% for V1 with material M1 with condition type JVRD
12% for V2 with material M1 with condition type JVRD
14.5% for V2 with material M1 with condition type JVRD
Tax code c1
2% for V1 with material M2 with condition type JVSC
4% for V2 with material M2with condition type JVSC
6% for V2 with material M2 with condition type JVSC

USR user defined field in OIM design console in not visible

Hi all,
We have OIM setup in the environment and wanted to add some custom attributes for USR user defined field definition. When I open the User Defined Field Definition tab, I could not see USR form. When I tried to export specific users from OIM just to check whether USR is visible or not, it is appearing. When I tried to import the same set of users again to OIM, I could still not be able to see USR in OIM design console.
Any ideas why this has happened? There were no changes in OIM env recently.

Exported the user in xml file and found that Form Administrator is missing. I added that specific section from other working environment and it is working fine now.

User defined table types sometimes show up a unknown data type in Profiler

A couple of our users have a problem when using user defined table types. Calls are made using UDTT as variables and these are then passed to a stored procedure as parameters. Sometimes the application returns a timeout. In such situations a Profiler-Trace
shows the following:
declare @p4 unknown
whereas the correct trace (that is sometimes displayed) should be:
declare @p4 dbo.ReportFilterTableType
ReportFilterTableType is a UDTT. The users do have correct permissions for the UDTT (otherwise they would never be usable for the user). What could be the reason that the data types for the variable
@p4 in the example are sometimes returned as unknown and at other times are returned correctly as
ReportFilterTableType? Could this possibly be a network related issue?

Alka, Is your problem timeouts when passing TVP parameters, or is it that a Profiler Trace shows type "unknown" for the TVP data type name?
If your problem is timeouts, be aware that TVPs do not have statistics so the optimizer might not be able to generate an optimal plan for non-trivial queries. Declaring a primary key or unique constraint on the table type may help since that will provide
useful cardinality information. You may need to resort to hints in some cases.
I suggest you start a new thread with details of your specific situation if the information in this thread doesn't help.

User defined field not visible "Conditions" tab

I have created a user-defined field Z_E_PREIS that I want to use as a result-type of user field in condition table. When using a condition record that has this field, the field is not visible inthe "Conditions" tab of the transaction item. Why is that?
Customizing activities done:
- data element Z_E_PREIS (CHAR10) created with SE11
- field catalog: field name "Z_E_PREIS" created in "Fields NotContained" tab, referring to data element Z_E_PREIS
- BAdI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME activated for this field, for contexts CONTRACTand PRODUCT
- condition table CUS9051 four fields:o search fields: sales org., distr.ch. and producto result field: Z_E_PREIS
- access sequence Z951 with the fields from cond.tbl CUS9051- condition type ZZ51 using access sequence Z951, manual maintenanceallowed- pricing procedure ZZ901 with one condition type: ZZ51
- determination of pricing procedure: sales org. 50004458 -distr.ch.01 - doc.pr.proc.Z
- customer pr.proc. 1 => ZZ901
- created transaction type ZF12 (doc.pr.proc Z) and item category ZV12and item category determination
Master Data maintenance:
- created condition maintenance group ZPRODCRM: added condition typeZZ51
- condition maintenance group ZPRODCRM assigned to application CRM inMaster Data

Prior to trying Gordons option of unmarking and remarking them i would suggest you do a little more investigation as this can potentially change the field names in XL report and if you have any reports using them they may stop working (it can add a post fix of _1).
Firstly, what are the fields set as in the User Defined Fields window in XL reporter? Light Dimensions, Dimension Attribute or Measure? If its a Dimension Attribute for example on the Business Partner UDF, it will not be visible in the tab section but should be shown if you drag and drop the Business Partner dimension in the report, then right click and choose display more attributes (dimension attribute UDFs will be in this list). Light Dimensions and Measures should appear in the tabs.
If they are set as a light dimension or measure and are not in the tab section, has this only just started happening or have they never been visible? If its just started happening, having you recently upgraded to a new patch? If so, in future you need to run a script on the Company and Common database prior to the patch upgrade. If you did not run these scripts you will need to do Gordons solution but as I say, if any reports have UDFs in these may not work after and you will have to manually edit them.

Component Palette - User Defined Functions not visible

I have created a simple class for a User Defined Function I want to add into a Transformation process in my BPEL process.
I followed this tutorial - https://blogs.oracle.com/bwb/resource/custom_xpath_functions/Creating_Custom_XPath_functions_with_JDeveloper_FullPost.ht… to create the extension and add it in to JDeveloper
However when I open the Transformation editor I have no option in the component Palette for User Defined functions.
I am currently on 11.1.1.7. However this was working on 11.1.1.6 but this also has stopped.
Does anybody have any suggestions of where I should look.

LR4, PS5, PS6 user defined camera profiles

I'm on Mac OS 10.8. Where are user defined camera profiles stored? I can see older profiles in LR develop module, but cannot locate the path.

Macintosh HD / Users / [your username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / CameraProfiles /
It's a hidden folder on 10.8 - go to Finder > Go menu and when you hold down the Opt key, Library will appear in that list.

Component Palette --- "User Defined Extension Functions" not visible

I added a User-Defined XPath Extension Function in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 --> Tools > Preferences > SOA As given here http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_appx_functs.htm#BEIHEBIJ
But I am not able see "User Defined Extension Functions" section itself in the component palette. Do I need to enable anything for see the section.

As I said before it is not that straight forward.If you will decompile tcViewProfileAction .class using any java decompiler you will find out that data in setAccountProfile method is not getting set through formmetadata.xml . If you are well verse with struts then only you can achieve what you are trying to do.You need to extend tcViewProfileAction class and also tcViewProfileForm class and then you need to modify tjspViewProfileTiles.jsp .It will not be easy job.Usually in implementation we do not change action class until its absolutely required as oracle also do not recommend that so now its between you and your client to make a call if they want to go for such customization.I won't recommend you do that.

i had created several UDF and set them in different category as setting is there for user defined field. now i am getting different different user defined field in different category ,
now i want to set this different category of user defined field to different user .can we do it in SAP B1
like category---- general , cat1, cat2,
user --- Ram , Vipul
i want to assign cat 1 to ram and and cat 2 to Vipul so that with the document ram will see only UDF of cat1 and Vipul will see UDF of Cat 2.

You can do it for each user by assigning a category
to each of user defined field by setting visible tick mark.

Set user Defined Status in the Shopping Cart

Hello,
I am facing problem while Setting user defined Status in the shopping cart. Below are the steps which I have followed.
1. I have created Status profile via Transaction 'BS02' and also created the Status 'On Hold' with Status number 'Exxxxx'.
2. Entry of this external status is also created in the table TJ30.
3. Also I tried assigning this Status profile in Transaction type for "BUS2121".
After making the above configuration for the new User defined status I have used below function module in my program.
I am using FM "CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN" to set the User defined status in the shopping cart.
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'
    EXPORTING
      objnr                    = ls_header-guid
      user_status          = lv_stat
    IMPORTING
      stonr                    = lv_stonr
After this FM I am also using "COMMIT WORK AND WAIT ".
But still my Status is not updated in the Shopping Cart.
Expert please suggest if some one has work in this scenario.
