Catalog export and copy error

How do you copy a catalog from a computer to a hard drive? These are the following steps I took which failed.
I tried to copy a catalog from the LR folder in My Pictures and it errored saying that the extension is too long for my device (i'm copying from a computer to a 2GB pretty full hard drive to transfer onto my computer).
Then I tried from within LR to export as a catalog according to Adobe TV video instructions, but it also errored saying the previews didn't copy. When I tried opening the copied catalog from my hard drive, LR said it could not open. I will look for the error message and post later.
Anyone know how to solve this?
Thank you!
Sara

  • USING DISCOVERER DESKTOP CAN'T EXPORT AND GET ERROR ORA-00000

    we use a win 2000 server to export discoverer reports by command-line methods.In the past ,everything is ok. But from last week , we found some reports always keep in export phase and can't export anything, also with ora-00000 error.
    there are 2 things should be mentioned:
    1. in the past , these reports can export without any error
    2. we can export the same reports normally on another server(but we don't want to change server for some reason)
    I know Oracle suggest we update to discoverer 10g, but it can't tell me why another client can export normally
    so where is the cause?
    Discoverer Desktop version - 4.1.46.08.00
    EBS version - 11.5.9

    Hi
    Presumably you have tried rebooting?
    If you have windows updates set to automatic it is possible that one of the recently applied updates has done this.

  • Model Export and Import - Error 40144

    I'm trying to transport a model from one system to another and I get the following error when I try the Model export and import functionality in IBP 4.0
    "errorCode":"40144","errorMsg":"Repository: delivery unit not found; deliveryUnit: 'SOP_MODEL_EXPORT_DU', vendor:sap.com'"
    Steps:
    1. Model Export -> Create Export
    2. Once the Export is created, I clicked 'Download Deployment Unit' and that's when I get the above error.
    Am I doing anything wrong? If so, what is the procedure to execute the model export and import between systems?

    It turns out a transportation path has to be set up (one time) from the backend (by SAP) to enable this feature.

  • Export and import error

    Hi all,
    our production is oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on windows which we want to migrate on windows server.i have taken full export of the database but it comes with warnings and tried 2 to 3 times the same with warning and while import full database i got the error without showing me import successfull without warning or import succesfull with warning, then i ahve taken the individual schema export, its come without warning and import successfull with warning.please give me assitant.quick response will be higly appreciated.thanks alot in advance.
    the syntax and i issued are below
    d:>exp system/passward file=xyz.dmp log=full.log full=y
    result is :export successfull with warnings
    on target database
    d:>imp system/password file=xyz.dmp log=impfull.log ignore=y full=y
    i get error without showing import successfull with warning or import successfull without warning
    like
    imp-0007
    ora-0001 which says unique key constraint is voilated.
    then i do individual scehma backup like below
    d:>exp system/password file=username.dmp log=user.log owner=username
    result export successfull without warning
    on target database.
    d:>imp system/password file=username.ldmp log=user1.log fromuser=username touser=uername
    result import successfull with warnings

    Hi,
    imp-0007
    ora-0001 which says unique key constraint is voilated.This means there is difference between index defination on source and target. You could either recreate the index or disable the index while importing and then check for duplicate.

  • Export and import errors

    I was trying to import dmp to a database from user1 to user1 using imp,but I got following errors.
    IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 942
    "ALTER TABLE "R_TASKSCHEDULE_SCHEDULE" ADD CONSTRAINT "F1R_TASKSCHEDULE_S" F"

    table or view not exist
    so ,I export the indexfile of the DMP using imp test/pwd@cc file=xxx.dmp indexfile=xxx.txt log=imp.log rows=n
    and see lots of table definition except tables with error notification such as R_TASKSCHEDULE_SCHEDULE
    I got following questions:
    1.why it's the first step to ALTER TABLE R_TASKSCHEDULE_SCHEDULE?instead of CREATE TABLE?
    2.I can see lots of REM "create table" section,except the tables with error information
    but the tables with error information did exist in the source database.but where are the DDL of error tables,there are only the ALTER TABLE in the indexfile
    my environment source db:ora11.2.0.1+win2008, dest:ora11.2.0.1+linux

  • Lightroom catalog export and re-import

    I am not new to Lr, and I do know how to export catalogs, or collections, etc.  However, what I am concenred about it is exporting, lets say a collection "as a catalog" and taking it to another computer for edits, then bringing it back to the origianl computer or hard drive.  My concern is in how it comes back to the original computer.  Is there a way to do this so that it goes right back exactly the way it was before I exported it?  I don't want the edited collection to come back as a new or separate collection.  Is this something that can be done?
    Thanks a lot.
    Richard

    Thanks for your response.  What I'm essentially wanting is for the new edits to go into the catalog and after that there being no indication there was ever an export/import... In other words my folder structure on the master computer to look the same.  Also, is it true that once the edits are imported back to original computer/catalog - the raw image files that were originally exported as part of the "export as catalog" can be deleted as they are now just dupes, or extraneous?
    Thanks again.

  • Export and import parameter

    Hello friends,
    DB: oracle 10 G
    O/S: Sun soalris 10.
    I have two sun system system both are having oracle 10 g
    1 is prod database and another is test database
    both the systems having same schema ,I want to make my test database upto date with production database before i used to use the complete export of prod database 1 schema and simply import it into test database but this process is taking very long time as the export dump file size is alomost 2 GB and while importing at the test database the import process is taking almost 5 to 6 hours ,
    the test database schema having 10 days old old records when compare to production database.
    so I just want to know is there any parameter in IMPORT so that the import process will take only changes information from export dumpfile while importing?
    I am using tradition export and import method

    thanks for your reply,
    But right now I don'thave datapump export dump file and my production database is at remote place ,
    again to take datapump export and copy the dump from netwrok takes again very long time network will also get busy to get 2 gb of file
    right now at my place where test db is located I have only tradition export dump file
    any more sujjestion in that

    Hi Lars,
    thanks for your message! This is not a SAP system.
    You said it should have been fixed in our versions, does it mean the problem is now in our database and the fix doesn't help us? How can we correct the situation?
    Thanks,

  • Export fails with 904 and 10003 errors

    I have Oracle 8i on Windows 2000. Windows 2000 is sp3 and 8i is 8.1.6. patched with 8.1.6.3.0 and 8.1.3.8. I have 5 servers with the same configuration using the exact same downloaded patches. One server is a test server.
    Two of the servers are running the database perfectly. Three others cannot export sucessfully. All exports are done in WE8IS08859P1
    First I export the entire database. It starts to export table definitions,profiles, user definitions...... successfully until it reaches
    about to export system's tables via conventional path...
    .exporting table DEF$_AQCALL 0 rows exported
    EXP_00008: ORACLE error 904 encountered
    ORA_00904: Invalid column name
    from then on I get
    EXP_00008: ORACLE error 1003 encountered
    ORA-01003: no statement parsed
    I have tried to redo the patches. The Oracle Installer tells me that the patch has already run and will not reapply it. I copy all of the required .dll's, .exe's and whatever again. I reran catalog.sql and catproc.sql I run describe dbms_java and get a long package description. When I try to run create or replace java system again (the last step of the second patch), it just hangs.
    I have used "Beyond Compare 2" to compare the BIN folders of working and non-working databases. I find that some of the .dll's were slightly different sizes. I don't understand that - I didn't think that the sizes would change. I recopied the .dll's from the working server to the failing test server - no difference. I checked every object that the patch has you copy again and all were correct. - the export still fails.
    Every forum I have tried tells me to run catalog.sql and catproc.sql to correct this but it doesn't work.
    I would appreciate and more suggestions please!

    First of all, you are talking to a novice Oracle person. No one here is an expert. If I sound stupid - I am!
    Yes, they are exactly the same. This is what I get on the bad server and the good server
    Path=D:\Oracle\Ora81\bin;C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.1.7\bin;C:\WINNT\system32
    ;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\Wbem;D:\Oracle\Ora81\orb\bin
    I don't quite see a version here other than the 1.1.7 but it is the same on the good and bad server.
    I am sorry to say, I don't know what recycling the database is so no, I didn't.
    Thanks for taking another stab at helping!

  • I am getting ERROR -50 when trying to export my 3 minute video. PLEASE HELP!  I have 11G on hard drive, but comp seems to run slow on start up.... can I export or copy it in some other fashion?  Desperately need help.  THANK YOU!

    Oops, Looks like I said most of what I wanted to in my title. Sorry ppl, my first time here.
    So, my vid won't export.  And I need it soon.  I'm kind of in a panic.  First time I've had this problem.  The music from iTunes also aliases at times, but I can get it to play without that problem on occasion.  (What causes that?  That does happen with frequency, but then goes away at times.)
    BUT, is there ANY WAY TO EXPORT or move a copy of the video somewhere else?  (How, if so?)
    And what does ERROR -50 mean?
    Also, please know I am fairly computer illiterate, so if one could speak in the simplest terms possible, I would really dig that.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
    FF

    Hi
    This is an easy Q: to set - but there is no simple and plain answer only a lot of more or less plausibly suggestions.
    Error -50 = paramErr  Error in user parameter list
    Can there be any external hard disks - if so How is/are it/they formatted ?
    If so it Must be Mac OS Extended (hfs) if used for Video.
    UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most but not for VIDEO.
    What this means in Your situation is above me.
    • free space on internal boot hard disk 11Gb is on the limit to work when You select Export and might be it.
    Video used - there are several video formats/codecs and iMovie can not use all of them, they evolve to fast.
    • So try to find out by opening a raw video in QuickTime-player and then open Inspector (cmd+I) and read
    Video Format/Codec: nnnnnnnn
    What does it read ?
    Pictures
    • in what format ? .jpg, .bmp, .tif, else ?
    Audio
    • from where/what format ? iTunes, .avi, .mp3, .aiff, else ?
    I convert all audio to .aiff - in iTunes I burn out as an Audio-CD .aiff (not .mp3) and use the files on this in my movie projects.
    Some times it's needed to trash the "com.apple.iMovie.plist" file in You USER-Library/Preferences (not Library on Root level (when opening Macintosh HD) - but the one in Your home folder.
    Many users has not observed that there are TWO libraries.
    • Library - at root level
    • Library - in user/account folder - THIS IS THE ONE to look into
    from Luke Burns
    I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
    I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..
    Yours Bengt W

  • Export error message and render error message

    Hi all,
    I just finished a16 min. movie, lots of hours containing two slides shows and a bunch of short video clips, lots of effects, transitions with jpgs, pip's, animated gifs and you name it.  It came out great!  ON THE COMPUTER THAT IS!... I am running pe7 on a brand new hp elite 410y desktop - AMD Phenom II x6 six-core processor 1045T, 8 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM, 3MB L2 cache + 6MB shared L3 cache memory, 1TB seriel ATA hard drive and ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics with 1GB DDR3 dedicated memory. My operating system is windows 7 home premium edition 64 bit.  I used jpg's from three different camera's, downloaded google images, as well as the animated gifs.  I took some video from my Nikon coolpix L110 and converted all mov files to avi using the free Prism converter...I didn't think to just use premiere to export to DV AVI.  I also took youtube video and converted them to avi.  I kept getting adobe system memory low, proceed with caution, did a bunch of saves and got throught it.  I tried to render and the error unknown compiling movie message kept coming up.  Well, at that point I just broke down, so many hours and then having to show the actual finished product to my friends, the stars of this movie on my little 20" computer monitor and not my big screen tv sucked...so dissapointing but moving on.
    I started to search the forums and read another thread that Steve Grisetti answered about changing all photos to no more than 1000x750 and then try to split up the movie and export in premiere to DV AVI.  I only had a few photos like that, changed them and I still keep getting the same error message.  I tried just taking the first minute, did a save as, named it test and tried to export, no luck.  There seems to be something in the first part that premiere does not like and I did notice on playback that some of my effects were not working i.e. video pip sliding in from the left of the screen over a jpg.  I am so frustrated.
    I finally chopped it up to three parts and tried exporting the 2nd part of just the video clips to DV AVI, no problem but changed my look.  When I hit export movie and look at the settings summary Filetype is CompilerMPEGproxy, the Video settings are Compressor: I-Frame only MPEG Frame size 1440h 1080v (1.333) Frame Rate: 29.97 frames/second Pixel Aspect Ration: HD Anamorphic 1080 (1.333) Fields: Upper field first, Audio Settings are Compressor: uncompressed Sample rates: 48000 sample/second Channels: Stereo and Sample Rates: 16 bit.  If I change to DV AVI, then the whole look changes, probably because the frame size is only 720h 480v.  Is there a way to export to DV AVI and keep the larger frame size?
    I wanted to keep the original size, so I just tried to render part 2 and part 3 as is and had no problem, but now the audio skips. I have a wav file on part 3 and part 2 has the converted avi audio that came with the clips.  Please help, any suggestions will be most appreciated.  I can't start all over...I'm burnt.
    debby

    Hi Steve,
    Thank you for your promptness...I am still a little confused though, I made a copy of my final movie and was working off the copy to try all these different scenerios to get it to render and now have alot of different projects, same movie, different project names.  Should I delete all the copies and take my original and go to Edit/Preferences/Media Cache and clear the media cache.  Then the timeline menu and delete render files and then go to the FAQ's to troubleshoot.
    A quick second question:  I did get to render two parts of the whole movie, but the audio is skipping.  Can that be fixed and can I use it?
    Thank you,
    debby

  • ATG catalog export error in startSQLRepository

    Hi,
    I want to export the catalog data from atg production. I followed the steps as below.
    1. create FakeXADatasource.properties file in C:\ATG\ATG10.1.1\home\localconfig\atg\dynamo\service\jdbc. (There is mysql user named atguser with password atg123$)
    $class=atg.service.jdbc.FakeXADataSource
    URL=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/prod_lo
    user=atguser
    password=atg123$
    driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
    2. change JTDataSource.properties as below.
    $class=atg.service.jdbc.MonitoredDataSource
    dataSource=/atg/dynamo/service/jdbc/FakeXADataSource
    transactionManager=/atg/dynamo/transaction/TransactionManager
    loggingSQLInfo=false
    min=10
    maxFree=-1
    loggingSQLError=false
    blocking=true
    loggingSQLWarning=false
    max=10
    loggingSQLDebug=false
    3. then run the "startSQLRepository.bat -m Store.Storefront -export all catalogExport.xml -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog" command.
    but while it processing it gives below error. Anyone know the reason or how to do a complete catalog export? (I have remove the last part of the error log because it exceeds the maximum length of 30000 characters. )
    ./startSQLRepository -m Store.Storefront -export all catalogExport.xml -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog

  • Exporting 7 min. video from Aperture and received error.  How can I get the original back?

    I uploaded a video from my iphone 5 into Aperture and then I tried to export it to my desktop.  After I clicked on Export, it attempted to export for a while but then gave me an error message saying that 0 of 1 videos was exported and it couldn't export.  Now it shows the video in the album in Aperture, but it won't play and I can't do anything with it.  I have tried to recall the original but it says there is no original and it says there are no referenced files when I try to reference the files.  The clip also shows an arrow pointing to the right with a yellow triangle by it.  This is located in the bottom right of the image, right next to the video icon.  My concern is that I tried to export the original.  Any ideas on how I can fix this and get the video back?

    Is that the badge you are seeing? Then Aperture has lost the connection to the original video file.

    You tried to reconenct and locate the referenced file? Then you probably imported the video as "Managed" and then the commands for referenced files do not work.
    Look directly into your Aperture library package, if the video is still there:
    Select the Aperture Library in the Finder and ctrl-click(or right click) it.
    Then select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up.
    In the Finder window that opens scroll down to the "Masters" folder and open its subfolder "2013" and then go to the month and day, when you imported your video. Do you see your video there, or any imports at all?
    If you see the video in your library package, copy it to the Desktop, ad check, if you camn play it.
    What do you see?
