Category (Group)wise sorting in JTable

Deadly need your help..I am using jdk1.4 as per the requirement,
I stuck up where in my JTable i have lot of records..but the first column is having some category..some thing like for category1 have some records and category2 i have some records..when i try to sort on other columns i would like to have them sorted in that first column category wise.Thanks in advance

Is there any column in subject area for catalog group? if you have you can use directly or else you need to define the group.
in this case pull category column twice and sales in Criteria
on 1st category column fx bin tab define the categories, once you done this select sum in results tab

Free Goods : Category/Group wise

Hello Experts,
Greetings.
I have a sincario where by we give the freegoods on category basis.for ex.combination of (5-6) material codes will make one category/group.Our condition is that if customer pickes 25 cartons of that particular category,he is entitled to get 1 free carton as a free goods.
As per the sap standards,it works 1:1 ration only.
Is their any other way whereby we can give free goods based on category/group basis?
Help would be highly appriciated.

Thanks for the response. What's being used as amount in my free goods condition type is not the selling price but the total discount. Please see example below.

SSRS Chart group dataset by Year (series groups)/Month (category groups) force intervals to start at JAN?

Hi all,
trying to figure this out in REPORT BUILDER, but I guess I can go to VS if needed...
I've got a data set that says "sales" and its basically order summarycontaining:
id, dateplaced, and other stuff...
I want to use this dataset to show trendline for annual qty of orders
created line chart with "countDistinct(id)" as the series for X
category groups = groupby "=Month(dateplaced)" and label "=MonthName(Month(dateplaced)"
series groups = group by "=Year(dateplaced)" and label the same.
I think this is working as intended, please correct if not.
The PROBLEM I'm seeing is that since my dataset returns data starting around september so my "axis" starts in september... I really would prefer it starts at Jan and ends in December... I can't see any way to do this...
The only things I could think of are;
put fake data in dataset that returns "empty" values for jan in the first year of data...
change the query completely to make sure tehre are "year" "month" groupings... somehow...
but both of these approaches seem to be "hacky" and not very maintainable or clear...

According to your description, you want to you have the category group in your chart always start from January. Right?
In Reporting Services, when we set category group, the records will sort by the sequence of data in database by default. However, we can apply expression in
Sorting so that those records can sort by the month. We have tested your scenario in our local environment, here are steps and screenshots for your reference:
1. Create a chart and put the corresponding expression into category and series group.
2. Right click on category group. Go to Sorting tab. Put the expression below into sorting expression.
3. Save and preview. The result looks like below:

OrgChart 3.0 SP1 - Sub Category Groups configuration?

According to the Admin Guide the Sub Category Groups configuration in Admin Console would allow me to group similar records within the same org chart box. I assume the Sub Category Filter will define the criteria for sorting the records but there is no description / example/ guidance on what the syntax should be for this field. 2 different results I would like to achieve are:
(1) to list names of multiple incumbents for one position in a box, rather than simply showing the phrase "multiple incumbents".
(2) to hide the whole group of multiple incumbents for a position, based on the Employee Group.

Hi Clementine,
I would suggest that you apply a filter to the data element. You can do this in the AdminConsole via OrgChart > Positions > Data Connection (that is "Positions" directly under "Organization Structure"). Add a filter, such as:
where EmpGrp != '9'
You can also do this for the Employees hierarchy too ( OrgChart > Employees > Data Connection ).
Please note that the field for exclusion must be a hierarchy field, i.e. it must exst in the list of Fields under OrgChart > Positions > Fields. You may have to change the data element configuration file in order to achieve this.

Dummy category group for chart

Hi,
I'm creating a stacked column chart where I'm getting data from an MDX query that has three measures. I want to have a separate stacked column for each of the measures but I can't figure out how to do this. If I were able to get the measures on separate
rows or something alike I would have no problem but from what I've found, this isn't possible with MDX. So I need some sort of dummy category group that has three different values by which I can split the column values. How can I do this?

You just go to S_ALR_87012085 then go to dynamic selections. There we can give account group whatever we want.

As per my knowledge there is no Standard Report in SAP based on sales office, sales group. and plant.
You may create your own report using MC18,MC21 and MC24.... Otherwise ask your ABAPer's help...

Grouping customers and view customer open items list - Group wise

Hi.
I have some requirement from my client.
He says that he want to view customer open items list group wise.
In FBL5N we can give the selection of multiple customers. But he wants to group the specific customers and then view the open items for this group.
For example: Client has 10 customers and out of these customers he wants to select and group 5 customers. And then he want to view open items list for this group.
Can anyone help me how to group these specific customers in the total customers list. Also request you to provide me the option to view open items for this group of customers.

Hi Padmavathi,
It is possible. use Worklist for Customers.
Go to OB55 and define a Worklist for Customers, and mention the list of Customers that you want to see under that Worklist.
After this, when you to to FBL5N, you will get an option to select Worklist to run the list of open items.. and it would show open items of all customers that you have defined in your worklist.
Also note that you will have to go to FB00, tab Line Items, and tick Worklists available. This is at User Level, so only that user will be able to see the worklist in his FBL5N transaction code.

I need to add a page break for one of two category groups of a my chart. Is it possible, please?
I need to create a chart for this category group to mantain readable the report.

You can create two graphs and put them inside two separate rectangles and add page break
after first rectangle and add a filter to your chart for first category group for first chart and second category group for second chart.

Item category determination without Item category group

Dear friends,
I am using CRM 5.0. In transaction such as Lead, when i am inserting product Item category is not determined.Prior to this i have done customizing in spro and Product Master.
I am using this functionality under marketing organization so Item category group NORM is not working as i am not maintaining distribution channel, divison....
Error comes in Lead transaction. When product is selected and saved as Item category is not determined.
Plz help as its very crucial.Reward points will be awarded.

Item category group

Hi gurus,
Can anyone pls. help me identify the appropriate item category group for the free goods in CRM only (i.e. no R/3 integ)? The current item category group of these products is set at NORM but we may need to change it to TANN because of an ABAP runtime error. I just don't know how to include it (TANN) in the list of values in the Item Cat. Group field in COMMPR01. Hope you can help me.

What I understand is that you wish to do free goods determination.I.e. For 1 Case = 1 Free item
For that we have other pre-requisites like:
Free good determination settings:
1. SPRO->Customer Relationship Management->Basic Functions->Set Up Free Goods->Assign Procedure
2. SAP menu->Master DataPrices and Conditions->/SAPCND/GCM - Maintain Conditions

Order type and Item category group

Can anyone tell me which is the relation between order type and Item category group from material master ??
In fact the problem is that I have created a material and when I want to create new sales order it gives me this errror:
"No item category available (Table T184 ZORDER ZITGR)"
Is there a tranzaction where I can assign Item category group ZITGR to sale order type ZORDER or something like that??

Goto T-Code VOV4 and maintain the table
Sales Doc type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category
TA + NORM + Nil + Nil = TAN
If you have Customized your own Document Type and Item Category Group and Item Category then give your
Sales Doc type (ZORDER)+ Item Category Group (ZITGR)+ Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category (ZTAN)

Missing Item Category Group data in Material SD data in CRM

Hi crm experts,
Please help us. We are trying to identify what's the rootcause of the problem we experienced in CRM regarding the Item category group. We are maintaining material master in ECC and it will be replicated in CRM via middleware. The data item category group is properly maintained in ECC but when we checked in CRM, only 3 of the sales areas have it.
Sales Area 1 - YES
Sales Area 2 - NO
Sales Area 3 - YES
Sales Area 4 - YES
So we will do a request load for the data to show also on Sales Area 2.
Item category group were maintained in the ff tables:
ECC table TPTM
CRM table CRMV_ITEM_CAT_GR
Can you please let us know how we can pin point this problem so that this will not happen again? We want to apply a permanent solution if there is. Hoping for your kind assistance. Thanks!
