How to configure in cats to send email messages, if a particular employees working hours has been rejected by his manager.

Email rejected as spam because of "RCPT TO" ?

I'm attempting to use Mail and compare it to Entourage. Email sent to a friend is getting rejected as spam when sent from Mail, but not from Entourage. Both are using the same account.
The returned email includes the message below with domains and ip addresses removed "to protect the innocent". Does anyone have a clue as to what the difference is and how I might fix it?

For whatever reason the ISP's smtp server got put on the Spamhaus list. They, the ISP, got it removed removed and all id better now. Phew.

Email rejected as an attachment

I just recently switched to Verizon and having been trying to send an email to a listserv list using my Verizon email. It keeps being rejected with the message:
Your posting to the _____ list has been rejected because it only contains
attachments which are disallowed by the list configuration. Even though the list is configured to remove unwanted attachments and process the remaining text, in this case there would be nothing left after removing the unwanted data.
I haven't been sending any attachments, only a typed email. I've checked all of the issues the site recommends, but the message is still rejected. I know I can create a free email account for this listing, but I already have one (that doesn't work with this particular list) and since this list is the only thing I use my Verizon email for, it would kind of defeat the purpose of my Verizon email account. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated,. I'm not the most computer literate and cannot figure out what is wrong!!

Well, finally I found a fix...not sure if it's the best or correct, but it worked.  In case someone needs it one day:
I read the change HTML to plain text thread and clicked on the last link that was to the "old" verizon mail. Then switched to plain text, , re-typed my message, and sent it. I received an acknowledgement it was received, so it definitely went through.
I do not have the verizon web page shown in the thread allowing you to switching back and forth between "old" and "new" verizon mail (but do have a classic setting which did not help me).   My email now seems set on the "old" with a button to try the "new" on top.  I'm guessing you still cannot type in plain text with the "new" mail?
For those who asking about who/where has the page you can switch between and who/where doesn't, I live in the Pittsburgh area and switched to FIOS Feb 28.
Not sure if there is a better resolution or not (maybe someone else does?), but this seems to be working for now.

Email rejected due to Bare Linefeeds.

We created email campaigns at YesMail. I've noticed that messages coming back to our own employees fail in EOP.
All EOP shows is a failed message. Upon running a custom trace I've discovered this error:
SMTPSEND.BareLinefeedsAreIllegal; message contains bare linefeeds, which cannot be sent via DATA
According to the EOP folks, the message is being rejected by my Exchange 2010 server, but I see no trace of the message even getting to my exchange servers if I do a delivery report in OWA.
I can't seem to locate the source of the error.
I have run set-receiveconnector -BarelinefeedRejectenabled:$false (which I believe was off as default)
I can't help but think the problem resides with EOP.

More details:
For the Error that you provide, It’s by design that Exchange 2010 send connectors do NOT allow messages containing bare linefeeds to pass through.
And I fould a solution that might be help, just to set external to use POP3 and pull email from one journal account where all the journal items are sent.
Also you have have a try on Fixing bare carriage returns or bare line feeds in MIME headers

Email Rejected As Invalid

Hi;
I headed over to the local police department web site to file an inncodent report, and the police web page rejected my email - tunepoet at mac dot com - as "invalid. That address is still good for quite a while, and as I would rather file a report online, to start, than phone in, can you please explain why tunepoet at mac dot com was rejected as invalid?

Ok, I just noticed something. I was syncing mail accounts, and the conflict resolver found a conflict. It asked me to select between (quote)

What is the tunepoet at me dot com and might this have something to do with why the police web site regarded my email as invalid? Is that an email address consistent with that moble me thing, cause that is a service I never ordered?

Email rejected by size even though the attachment is under the limit

External emails coming in are being rejected with attachments over 6 megabytes even though the size limit is set to 10 megabytes.

I would like to clarify the following things for troubleshooting:
1. Please check if other users in your organization can receive messages including 6 megabytes attachments from external.
2. There are some types of message size limits and several scope of limits. Please check the message size limits and attachment size limits in your organization, connector, server and user.

Email rejected by server because it does not allow relaying

I've never had a problem sending/forwarding emails on my iPad2, but recently I've been getting the error message: The recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying. Help!

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

Prevent email rejection of Quotation in SRM4.0

Hi,
When accpeting/rejecting quotation(s) within Bidding Engine, an email is being generated automatically by SRM (reject & succes emails).
We are looking for a way to prevent these (succes & reject) emails to being generated/send at all.
Is there a standard way to achieve this?

You have to configure it in "Define Recipient of Notifications" under SRM SPRO -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> SAP Business Workflow -> Define Recipient of Notifications

Emails rejected by server

I cannot seem to send emails anymore. I get a message that says the recipient was rejected by the server. I have checked my settings and they appear to be ok. Any suggestions?

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

I had the same error when sending to someone who had 1&1 as the email service provider. Email rejected by the server

I'm unable to send email: when i try to send from my iphone 5S, i get a "sender address was rejected by the server" message. My password is entered correctly and I've tried restarting my phone. This just started happening and it's only with one account (POP). My gmail account works fine. I haven't changed any settings and can't figure out how to get my email to work.

Who is the email account provider for this email account?
Does the email account provider have an authenticated SMTP as is available with your Gmail account?

Cannot receive email (rejected password)

Out of the blue today, my Mail account started rejecting my password. I can send email but cannot receive (though online at Mac.com I can see incoming emails). I checked past discussion threads and saw no clear answer (I tried Keychain First Aid). I don't want to delete my account and start over. Why would it just start acting up like this - unprovoked? How can I solve the problem?

Generally, it means the mail server (mac.com) is down. I just quit the mail program and try again later; the outage doesn't usually last very long. (Except for the current problem, which is different, of course).

I had this problem with my iPad. You need to set your outgoing mail server to match your data provider rather than your email ISP. For example, my data provider for the iPad is Telstra and their mail server is mail.bigpond.com but my email account is through my home ISP Bordernet so when I had my outgoing SMTP as mail.bordernet.com.au all my outgoing emails would give me the same error until I changed the settings on my iPad so that the outgoing SMTP server i mail.bigpond.com. AOL Email 'Rejected rejected by the server'

Hi All,
So I've updated to iOS 7 and I can no longer send email from my AOL account. I can recieve them but not send.
I get this message when sending mail:
A copy has been placed in your outbox. The sender address "******************@aol.com" was rejected by the server.
My SMTP settings:
Hostname: smtp.aol.com
Username: (my username)
Password: *************************
Use SSL: On
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 587
This was working before updating to iOS 7 but I can't see how a software update would affect my email settings. Anyone else getting this or can help?

I had this problem with a NEW AOL email account.
Here's the FIX!
Log into your AOL email account, that won't send email, with Internet Explorer (Don't use any other browser, it won't work.)
Send an email to any other account.
A POPUP will appear telling you to click on the URL to complete the SPAM Puzzle.
Click on the URL in the POPUP.
Another TAB will open with a puzzle. Type in the Puzzle and SUBMIT.
You should receive a congratulatory message.
Close the TAB.
Answer OK to the POPUP.
You should now be able to SEND emails from any device on that account.
