  • "Network out of order" and "Short message transfer rejected"

    Guys,
I have a BB 9300 3G Curve and I have trouble sending SMS. This is a peculiar problem since I
#1 am able to send an SMS problem free sometime
#2 get an error message saying "Network out of order"
#3 get an error message saying "Short message transfer rejected"
Plus, this problem is not specific to a particular contact number. I get different messages (1,2,3 above) for the same number at different times. I have tried putting my SIM in a different handset and it works perfectly fine.
    Someone please HELP!

Simply try pulling out the battery and leaving it out for a couple minutes. Usually, that is the fix-all to glitches. If not, you should contact your wireless mobile provider and see if they can help you. Usually, they are very easy to get along with and want to help you. But I think the battery pulling out will help you. It's happened to me before and I had to do that.

  • Sms network out of order for one contact

I have had my curve for a while and i cannnot seem to send an sms to one of my contacts only as oit comes up with the network out of order error message! Help Please

Step 1:  Remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds later.
Step 2:  Try once again to send that contact an SMS.
Step 3:  Thank me for the helpful advice and have a good life with your new-found happiness.
(After that, I really hope my suggestion works!)

  • Phone keeps on telling me network out of order

Help! Everytime I try to send sms on my z10 it keeps on telling me network out of order. This is the first time that it has happened to me and it's really bothering me. How can I fix this?

That seems strange.  Try registering your phone on the network once again.
To do this, swipe down from the top of your homescreen and select Settings>About and switch the Category menu to Network.  Next, press the three dots in the bottom right corner and register your phone again.
Try that and post back with your results.

  • SMS: Network out of order

I got my blackberry curve 8520 on friday, o2 contract, registered it all, sorted and working, then on sat swapped my pay and go number to my contract number so i wouldn't have to tell everyone. they said it would take 24 hours to swap so i wouldn't be able to text which i was fine about.
Its now been more then 24 hours and whenever i try to send an SMS i shows a X and says "Network out of order". I can email, blackberry messenger, call, facebook send and recieve etc. only thing i cant do is send a SMS??
Pulled battery out and SIM. But will not work.
    Anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks

Get your sms service number from your service provider, google it.
    1. Go to options
    2. go to sms
    3. service center and change the number to the right service number.
Hopefully this will work for you.

    Hi,
I am using Oracle CEP 11.1.1.4.
I am trying to understand pattern matchin feature therefore my examples are meaningless. I am producing data like that ( between 1-3 and printing to console ):
    00:00:00 Producer produced 1
    00:00:05 Producer produced 2
    00:00:10 Producer produced 1
    00:00:15 Producer produced 3
    00:00:20 Producer produced 3
    00:00:25 Producer produced 1
Then I am looking for the data ( or you can think that as 1-2-3 ) that has been produced once and has not been produced within last 10 seconds.
    I am using system-timestamp channels.

  • How can I download iphone software 5 when I keep getting this error message: There was a problem downloading the s/w for the iphone ...The network connection timed out. It's error 3259

I keep getting an error message saying my network connection has timed out when I try to download the iphone 5 software to my iphone 4 while it's connected to my laptop. Then it says make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. The download gets all the way to the end (takes about an hour mind you), and keeps timing out.  It's error 3259.  FYI, I have the latest version of iTunes.

Security software on your computer/router is the usual cause of this. Turn off/disable or uninstall all anti-virus software & firewalls. Try again.

  • Keys out of order error message?

My PowerBook had a very bad crash after awaking from sleep. DiskWarrior will not work but I was able to use Apple disk utilities disk. The error message reads "keys out of order." After many attempts, I was able to use it as hard drive to back up all my files. I have been using a Mac a very long time and subscribe to numerous magazines but I have never heard of this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I should probably add that it still will not start.
G4/15 inch   Mac OS X (10.4.3)   2 gigs of ram
    Quick Silver G4/933
    Quick Silver G4/933

Happy New Year Tuttle and ROdan,
This is an interesting problem, unless of course it is happening to oneself!
FWIW, there has apparently been success with a G5 booting in OS 9 without extensions. See:
This got me thinking. If the machine is already on, and the OS tries to mount the disk, but the disk driver is damaged, well, bad things happen. Also when he writes, “When the drive spins up, the system loads the drivers from the device, and then executes it.” Really got me thinking. So obviously I cannot have the OS load the driver. But how do you make the Mac NOT load the driver? And more, even if you could, would the Mac even “see” the drive and mount it?
In OS 7, 8, and 9, a common work around to get your Mac to boot when it was having problems was to hold down the Shift key to turn off extensions. Most problems in OS 9 and earlier were caused by extensions, so it was a very handy tool to use when troubleshooting problems on your Mac. But there is no equivalent in OS X that I am aware of. So what to do?
Step Five: OS 9 with no extensions.
I remembered from my IT days that if I booted Mac OS 9 without extensions on, any attached FireWire drive would also appear on the desktop. So I shut down the G4 running OS 9.1, fired up the G5 in Target mode, waited for it to get up and running, and restarted the G4 9.1 machine with extensions off.
Victory! There was the bad drive, as well as the good one, in the G5 mounted on the G4’s desktop!
    Step Six: Copy! Copy! Copy!
Before I did anything else, I quickly copied all the files I was missing since my last backup. Unfortunately, that also meant copying around 40GB of music files. So late Saturday night, I started the copying, and by Sunday morning, all my files were now safely on the good G5 250GB hard drive.
    Step Seven: Repair Time!
The first thing I did was run the OS 9 version of Disk Tools on the bad drive. As expected, it could not fix the problem. But I had, prior to connecting the G5 the first time around, installed the OS 9 version of Alsoft’s Disk Warrior on the G4.
I ran Disk Warrior on the bad drive. It took a LONG time. What Disk Warrior does is builds a new directory on a drive, which I was hoping would cure my problems. After three hours, Disk Warrior was done. It found a BUNCH of problems. To be on the safe side, I ran it again. This time it took only a little more than an hour, and did not find any more trouble.
Shutting everything down, I rebooted the G5. I held down the Option key so that I could tell the G5 which drive to start from. It only saw the new drive as a viable boot disk. Oh-oh...
I held down Command-S to bring up UNIX after the next boot, and ran FSCK-F on the bad drive. It worked, fixing a few thousand items. Yikes! What did Disk Warrior do? I ran it again, and it repaired some more. Three times, and it was done.
    Restart.
    Welcome to Macintosh!
And all was well in the world.
A few things to take away from this:
Not all problems are as bad as they seem. There are usually always solutions to your computer problem. Some involved thinking way outside the box. How many people would have figured that Mac OS 9.1 with extensions off would be the solution to this Keys out of Order problem? Certainly not I.
In most cases, Disk Warrior would have fixed this problem without all the run around I had to do. If you don’t already own it, you may want to go pick up a copy. It’s well worth the small investment.
FSCK is not always going to repair or fix your problems. So be sure to back-up your data often.
Having two hard drives is WAY better than having only one. If you have an iMac or Portable in which you cannot cram in another drive, look at external Firewire hard drives.
It is also helpful to have another Mac laying around for the Target Mode trick. Can’t afford one? I see them on eBay all the time, REALLY cheap!
Hope this article helps someone else out there if you ever run into a similar problem

My ipod wont update when i try to update it and it says my network always times out and i get error 3259 i need some to help me please. I have also updated itunes several times but it still fails.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • All my photos are importing out of order. For example, if I have images 1,2,3, and 4.., the order they show up in is 2,1,4,3. What could cause this and any ideas how I fix it?

One thing, don;t think of them as being imported in any one particular order.
The order of the images is completely fluid, you can change it anytime you want to suit your needs at that particular moment.
As Léonie showed you select the order you want to see the images in by selecting the item you want to sort on in the pull-down.
The only time fluid sort order can be a problem is when you export groups of images. If you put the images into a particular order in Aperture when you export them and view them in the Finder the order they are in may very well be different. In this case you could give names to the images that include a sequence number or index.
Then when they are viewd in the Finder they will be in them same order they were in in Aperture.
