CB2530 Bluetooth Headphones

Hello, I'm having trouble getting my CB2530 headphones to pair directly with my bluetooth devices (laptop/PDA). They appear to work fine using the dongle, but I can't establish a direct connection. I tried the code 0000, but as soon as the connection appears to be completed, Windows pops up a message saying it "needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth Peripheral Device." Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry about that, I don't think the earpads are sold separately.

  • Bluetooth Headphone Problem & Quest

    Hello,
I just got deli'very of my CB2530/CB2470 Bluetooth headphones and transmitter.
I initially used the batteries supplied and unfortunately the headphone power light will only stay on steady for 30 seconds or so. Then it blinks.
The transmitter appears to connect with Bluetooth and audio DOES reach the headphones but every 20 seconds or so there is an interruption and faint "beep" in the headphones, then after a few minutes they disconnect and the headphones appear to power off. The transmitter then shows a solid blue bluetooth LED.
According to the manual the LED is supposed to blink when power is low and then disconnect after 0 minutes. But the problem is I have repeated the test with FRESH batteries from three different sources as well as a freshly recharged set of NiMH batteries as well as another set of NiCads in case the 2530 is not designed for NiMH. Anyway, regardless of batteries the behavior is the same. Same behavior if I do NOT use the 2470 but connect directly with my laptop via the laptop's Bluetooth interface using the A2DP profile.
What is wrong with my new headphones?
    Regards,
    Walt

Send it to the service center. Bluetooth headphones are still in its infant stages.
MSI had released models for use but customers often say there are quite a lot of distortions due to interference. They sold quite a lot in Hong Kong.

  • RAM preview audio will not play through bluetooth headphones

I am using bluetooth headphones (Jaybird Freedom Sprint) to try and edit audio/video in after effects. However, when I go to Preferences>Audio Output Mapping and choose "Freedom Sprint" and click OK, close the preference window, and it will automatically go back to the default "Built in Output" when I open it back up. It will only play the sound through the Mac Pro tower I am using. Is there a way to get the headphone option output to stay permanently?? Is there a reason why it is not staying selected?  Another thing I forgot to mention is that all other sounds work (like iTunes, volume up/down) through the headphones except for the audio RAM preview in After Effects. How can I disable the audio from playing through the tower? Very frustrating!
BTW - the only time headphones actually work is when they are plugged into the tower. These ones obviously can't be plugged in.
    Thanks! (Screenshots provided for help)

Thanks! I definitely did try that first... (trying to find a solution with the headphones). You can't find any info about them online/their website. Regardless though, After Effects will not allow me to play the audio output through any other device except for the Mac Pro tower - even playing it through the LCD Cinema Display won't work.
    Thanks for your reply

  • Is there a way to listen to radio on iPod nano 7th gen with Bluetooth headphones?

I know the iPod nano 7th gen uses the headphones as an antenna. I know there will need to be some sort of antenna attached. Does anybody know if there is an antenna on the market that can be plugged into the headphone jack that will allow audio to be sent to a pair of Bluetooth headphones?

There is currently no such antenna available.

  • Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?

Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?
The sound when I record video is not so good, so I'm trying to use the Bluetooth headphone/microphone to capture a person voice but not know which setting to use.

    Hi Robert
Thanks for answering. I didn't know where to post other than the bluetooth forum which is relatively quiet and had no answers forthcoming.
Yes the voice isn't reaching the amp although it is registering on the input bar in the Sound System Prefs, just won't "play through" as it were. I can't see how it could be done I was just hoping someone might see something I am missing.
It seems a shame that you can't do it as iTunes on an old iBook makes a good juke box for DJ'ing and with everything becoming wireless these days it seems sensible that you could cut that one last wire.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I can use 2 sets of bluetooth headphones at the same time with the Ipad?

    Hi zimmetp,
If I understand correctly you have paired a Bluetooth headphone to your notebook and it works fine. The problem arises when you go back to your regular notebook speakers and/or headphones and the sound doesn't work.
Are you turning off the Bluetooth when you try to go back to regular sound? If the computer still sees a connection to the Bluetooth headphones and they are set to default then it will continue to use those and not the regular ones.
    What is your product number?

  • Question about Bluetooth & Headphones to avoid damaging the miniport!?

Well, I finally experienced the same thing a lot of others have already ... the left side audio failed completely on my Touch, so I had to go return it and have it replaced. Luckily, the folks at Best Buy were nice enough to just swap it out and give me a new one, even though I was outside of my 30-day return policy. I have a service plan there, but I didn't want to go without my Touch while they replaced it elsewhere and sent me a refurbished device which probably wouldn't be in the same condition I keep my own in (immaculate -- 40+ days I've used it for 3+ hours a day, and there is hardly a scratch on the stainless steel, and the screen is flawless ... or was).
So now I have a new Touch, but I want to prevent this from happening again. Personally, I think the mini-port on the Touch, while it doesn't have the same problem as those of the iPhones, it has a design problem as well. But I don't want this thread to end up being a discussion of whether there is a design issue or not, but rather I need some help to find an accessory to fit my specific needs.
What I am looking for is either, a website actually selling [this product|http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/28/princeton-technologys-bluetooth-head phone-adapter/|Visit www.podtropolis.com today!] to customers in the U.S. ... or a product nearly like it.
I don't even need the iPod-Bluetooth transmitter, as those are VERY common. What I need is the other part, the receiver with a miniport Audio-Out (headphone jack). I don't even need the capabilities of the remote. Especially since this particular device may not even WORK with the iPod Touch. I'm hoping the audio-out features would, but I could care less if the remote-control did.
Basically, I'm reaching out in desperation with a severe headache from too many google searches with little to show for it ... I need help finding a Bluetooth headphone Audio-Out receiver.
And before you ask why I don't just buy a pair of bluetooth headphones, my reason is this ... bluetooth headphones can't be used wired when the battery dies, or to save battery when there's little chance you're going to drop the iPod and bend the miniport connection inside. With this, I can use the headphones I already have, I like, and still easily have the capability of switching to wired if I NEED to.
This is the only way I can think of to truly prevent the overuse of the Touch's mini-port and the wear & tear that comes from it.
Please, if you have any suggestions, please provide at least a semi-accurate device name and manufacturer, or, preferably, a link to a site in English with an online store!
    Thanks!

It has a BT transmitter which plugs into the iPod and a BT receiver which you plug standard headphones into.
    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Chris ... sometimes I wonder how I could LIVE WITHOUT YOU! You're an iPod GOD!
You pointed me in the right direction ... I found it sold at Beach Audio, with JUST the receiver, so now I can buy my preferred iPod BT transmitter as well! Plus this device is useful for other things:
    Specifications:
-- Wirelessly stream music from a cellular phone or Bluetooth enabled iPod or MP3 player
-- Listen to music on a cellular phone through A2DP protocol
-- Sporty clip-on design for ultra-lightweight design and ultimate portability
-- Features echo elimination and noise suppression

  • Bluetooth Headphones Audio Delayed after Updating to Yosemite

Ever since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite my Bluetooth headphones have started having pretty drastic delays on my iMac.  When I first start up the computer it seems normal, but after a half an hour or so, I have more than a 2 second delay.
I googled it and found that lots of people have this problem, but I haven't found any fixes.  Is there anything I can do??

I Just got an update on my bug report from Apple yesterday. They think they've fixed the bug in the next release 10.10.8.2.
Hopefully this does the trick and it's just a matter of time Before we all get the update.
I Havent been able to confirm the fix, but it's something!

  • Bluetooth headphone

Does the iPhone bluetooth support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)??? because thats what the motorola bluetooth headphone uses

    Iphone only Supports the Following:
HSP (Headset Profile) Headset Audio Input/Output Mobile phone headsets (mono)
HFP (Hands-Free Profile) Car Audio Input/Output Bluetooth car kits

  • Bluetooth headphone won't play music

I just got an iPhone-4s. I connected it to my Motorola S9 bluetooth headphone. I hear Siri through the headphones, but I cannot figure out how to get my music or my audiobooks to play through the headphones. With my iPhone-3gs, music and audiobook always played automatically through these headphones.
What do I need to do to get my music and audiobooks to play through my connected bluetooth headphones? I really like the cordfree option, as I listen to books while I do housework and tend to snag a cord on items as I work. I know I'm connected, as Siri comes through the headphones loud and clear.

Here are the bluetooth profiles for my headphone:
Bluetooth Profiles Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP),
    Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP),
    Hands Free Profile (HFP)

  • Bluetooth headphone recommendations?

I am thinking of buying s 2nd generation Touch just for the bluetooth headphone capability but I am having a hard time finding a decent pair that i can use on my daily commute on the train and walking city streets.
    Any recommendations?
    Thx.

iv been using the Altec Lansing Backbeat 906. i was considering between the jaybird jb200 and the backbeat. the bacbeat is pretty good(and cheaper), nice comfortable fit, u can use it while excercise an all. but the play/pause buttons and the microphone do not work with ipod over blutooth. and theres no option of volume control on the ipod itself when connected to the headset via blutooth. the lowest volume on the headset comes out really loud. so i end up using the bultooth adapter that came with the headset to get a comfortable volume for my ears.
im waiting for a update to the 3.0, so i can hopefully control the headset volume off the ipod.

  • Bluetooth headphone with MIC

I'm considering to purchase a Bluetooth headphone with MIC for my iPad mini. If I connect, will the headphone MIC take over the iPad's builtin microphone?

    Shardsofmetal wrote:
However, it sounds like you're saying that the headphones will work but the microphone won't, right? Thanks
mainly true and most likely yeah! The sound will come through the headsets but the microphone will not be able to function at all.... The bluetooth on the iPod touch is very limited to what function it can perform, like Meg St. Clair mentioned is for stereo Headphone; wireless speakers and games. Things like headsets or anything(like microphones)that might be used as with Bluetooth is not supported. The only way you can get a microphone to work is if it's plugged in on the headphone Jack at the bottom of the iPod touch. Sorry that you had to hear that, you were probably hoping that you could use the Bluetooth with that microphone.....
