CB68LP

Hi
Last time, you said I don't need to connect bias resistor from  AI+ to AIGND. Right now, I would like to make sure with you or somebody that wheather I need to put another wire from AI+ to AIGND. See attached.
If the ansewer is no, I don't ned to put any wire from AI+ to AIGND. why? That way the postive current can not flow to the AIGND. I don't understand. Could you please explain?
I am in a very urgent. I need to have a quick response.

Sorry, I miss sth. If the bias resistors are 9.8kohm,9.9kohm or 100.1kohm, 101kohm or 102kohm. Is that fine.

  • Differential mode and CB68LP board

    Hi:
I have a question on differential mode on CB68LP board. Attached is a diagram of op am with a differential stage circuit digram. I got from the link here.
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/D59654FA44D2F9FA86256F4A006064F3?opendocument#4
As you see. The gound of Vs looks the same as RL ground. As I see the ground of RL. It is a AIGND. Am I see the way correct? If not, please verify me?
    That is the first thing.
The second thing is I have a test fixtuer. The attached block digram at the bottom which show current meter is the output to put a resistor across AI+ and AI- in CB68LP board to measure voltage.
You also see the test fixture ground after the current meter. I use the DMM to test the AIGND and the test fixture ground. They are not connected. But how come the first diagram, Vs ground looks like the same ground as RL. Could you explain to me? I don't understand here. Also, I would like to ask if the current go through AI+ to AI- and then from AI- to back to the ground of the test fixture.
Could you please verify me here.
At last,if I have a case where AI- is at the AIGND (the same wire), I don't have to put bias resistor. why do I not afraid of removing common voltage and common noise? Could you pls explain?
Many thank if you can replay to me promply. I am in an urgent.
    Regards,
    John

  • Someone knows who is the manufacturer of the CB68LP SCSI2 connector?

    Hi, I've a bit problem.
I've designed my own PCB board for special signal conditioning. My surprise has been when I was going to solder the SCSI2 connector and i see that is not a standar SCSI2 connector. All connectors i've seen from HARTING, AMP, Farnell, RS have the large part on side up and the short part on side down of the connector viewed from the front. The connector of the CB68LP Board is different. It has the large part on side down and the short part on side up viewed from the front of the board.
Well, my question is if someone knows who is the manufacturer or equivalent of this connector.
    Thank's.
    Jordi Martínez

    Hi,
I've seen the cross reference table from Excel file in the link below and exists an error with the part number of AMP connectors.
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/ad0f282819902a1986256f79005462b1/8ecf4bad615f18bc8625648400521e97/$...
I've purchased the AMP part but is not the same connector of the CB-68LPR Terminal Block from National Instrument.
I attach a picture and you can see the difference. One is looking downward and the other upward, then my pcb don't matches ok with the pinout of connector.
    Someone can help me?
    Thank you very much.

  • Connections for cb68lp

Can anyone tell me the location of the pin out diagram for the CB-68LP from NI. Are the connections the same as for the SCB-68?
    Regards Ross

    I use CB-68LP with 6036E card.
and you can find CB-68LP pin out in 6036E manual
    http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/322339c.pdf

  • How to sent the data reading in labview to excel datasheet

    Hi,
I have aquire the current input from Cb68LP connector block to the labview.Thank a lot
But I not sure how to sent the data to the excel datasheet(with row and column).
    thank

    Hi.
You can save your data as "Spreadsheet-File". I my case I aquire digital data.
the channels are the rows and the pattern are the columns.
The Spreadsheet-File you can save as .txt then you can open it directly
    in Excel.

  • [Urgent!!] How to do quadrature decoding using DAQCard 6062E??

    Hi,
I am Xiaofei, a beginner of LabVIEW. Now i am dealing with a project involving quadrature decoding by using DAQ Card 6062E and breakout board CB68LP. We need to use 2 optical encoders simutaneously, and for each encoder, we need to use 3 digital channels (A,B and Index), therefore there will be totally 6 digital channels in use. For this reason, is it still good to use the counter channel? or we'd better use 6 DIO?
I'm not sure if there is any existing VI that can help us with decoding, if there is,  could you please let me know how we can find it?
If we will need to make the decoding code by ourselves, could you please give me some hint so that we can start it?
I heard that there should be an example called "How to Count.vi" that shows how to decode, however i failed to find it by using example finder, so does anyone know how to find it?
This is kinda urgent, i have to figure it out by tonight in order to keep my project rolling. So if you have any idea about it, pleeeeeeeeeease let me know!  Thanks a million!!!
    Regards,
    Xiaofei

    Hi Xiaofei,
Our 6062E DAQ cards can be used with either our DAQmx drivers or our older
Traditional DAQ (Legacy) drivers.  The example that I've provide below is
for use with our DAQmx driver set.  If you’re using Traditional DAQ
drivers I would recommend upgrading to our newest DAQmx drivers.  You can
for help determining what version of DAQmx works with your version of LabVIEW.
To do hardware timed quadrature encoder applications you will want to use the
counters on your 6062E DAQ card.  Click here for a guide to
using quadrature encoders on E-series DAQ cards.  Unfortunately, our
E-Series cards do not support Z-indexing as described in the following
    developer zone tutorial: Quadrature
Encoder / Position Measurement.  However, you should be able to use
your encoders without using  Z-indexing.  Each of your encoders will
use one counter source and one digital line for your A and B inputs.  The
counters will count the edges of the A input while the digital line determines
the direction (Up or Down).  A good example can be in the example finder
under the following location: (Help » Find Examples » Hardware Input and Ouput
» DAQmx » Counter Measurements » Count Digital Events » Count Digital Events.vi).
This example should give you a good start for use with encoder.  You will
just want to replicate the code for your additional encoder.
    I hope this helps,
    Paul C.
