Cbs build portal application dc fail. Build Plugin IS NOT DEFINED for this
hi all
I use NW7.0 ehp1,have portal and a nwdi.
I create a track at nwdi . and develop a portal application .
local build is ok . but when i check in .run a activitce. dc is broken.

Did you import the dependent build plugins for the track in question?
(tab "development" in the /devinf --> CMS webui --> Transport studio)

we have upgraded our NWDI (nw04s) to SP13 and to DB2 V.9. We don't know if this has something to do with our problem. The NWDS developers called us. They can't activate the changes anymore. When I check the CBS I can see, that all components are broken. Any idea?

Once the application is published, there'll be an icon in the Start Menu to run the application from. You can run the published application by clicking on the icon.
You can, but shouldn't, actually run the published application from the setup.exe file, but defintely not "vslchost.exe".

To build android application using existing desktop dimension fla fies , I am resizing that files to mobile dimension and publishing with air fo android 16 . In this process some fla's are not resizing properly I mean the content is not matching with stage
In one post I saw that by copying frames in movie clip we can adjust with stage . I did this and made an application but the swf's which are following the movieclip resized swf are going out of stage
development tool : adobe flash professsional cc
extension : air for android 16
original file dimension: 800 * 600 px
new dimension required is : 2650 * 1600 px ( to get full screen view)
anyone please suggest me to solve this problem
when I resized using copy frames in movie clip the output swf is coming with white screen . If I played with package it coming properly but the files which are following this are going out of stage

Developer051Really quick solution (VS2005) - check the "ZOrder" attribute of the DataSets in the underlying .xss file.
I had the same problem, but only when I opened one of the XSD designers in Visual Studio. All the others worked fine.
I found out that 2 of my DataSet Shapes had the same "ZOrder" value ("2") when I opened the XSS file:-

I made them different (set one of them to "1", kept the other one as "2") and the DataSet was immediately editable in the designer.

BPM DC: Build Plugin IS NOT DEFINED, broken DC, dependencies
Hi,
I'am trying to create BPM component in NWDS 7.2 SP04 and there are some problems.
I've created SC like described in SAP Note 1463541. It said that I need to define required SCs for BPM dc: COMP_BUILDT, BPEM-BUILDT, BPEM-CONTENT, CU-BASE-JAVA, CU-BASE-WD, DATA-MAPPING, ECM-CORE, ENGFACADE, ESCONF_BUILDT, FP-INFRA, FRAMEWORK, MOIN_BUILDT, SAP_BUILDT, SERVICE-COMP, THL-CORE, WD-RUNTIME.
Next I've created track, imported required archives, imported this track in NWDS, and finaly I've created DC of type "Process Composer".
After that I see next problems with my DC:
1. DC cannot be built without another two required DC (ESMP_BUILDT, BPEM-MM).
Is it an error in sap note or something esle?
2. In CBS I can see that some of used DC are bbroken (total DC 430; broken DC 20).
Is it normal or not?
3. I can build my DC in NWDS but when I try to activate it in NWDI I got an error in activation request:
''company.ru/bpm1'' variant ''default'' cannot be built. ACTIVATION will fail.

I think that this is because of broken status of "tc/bpem/bi/bp/buildtool" DC, which is declared as build plugin for my DC.
How to resolve this issue?Hi IIya,
You are absolutely right. The problem is due to the broken DC in CBS.
Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue.
1) Goto the Landscape Configurator link.
2) Chose your track inside the table on the left side.
3) goto the Domain Data option, Click on the "Change" button, and then click on "Update CMS" button (This may take some time)
4) once the CMS Update is finished, open the "Track Data" link that is beside "Domain Data"
5) Now click on the "Change" button, from the software component (SCs) table remove the WebDynpro SC, and add it back once again.
6) Save the Track Data.
7) Now goto Transport Studio, make sure your track is selected in the table
8) In the Check-In Tab select all the components displayed in the "Check-In" button.
9) Once the Check-In operation is completed all those component will now be queued up in the Development Tab,
10) In the Development Tab select all the components & click on "Import"
11) Once the Import operation is completed all those component will now be queued up in the Consolidation Tab,
12) In the Consolidation Tab select all the components & click on "Import"
13) Now come back to your NWDS and remove the configuration that you have imported previously and then again load the same configuration once again from the SLD.
This should resolve your problem...
If the issue still persists even after performing the above steps, then I am afraid to say that the .SCA files present in ...CMS/Inbox folder might have got corrupted.
Please ask your basis team to copy all the standard .SCA files from the path /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/EPS/buildarchives/ to the CMS transport directory (<specified in the domain tab>\CMS\inbox) in order to make these dependencies available for your tracks.
Then again perform the above mentioned 13 steps.

Building Flex Application with Flex Builder installed in a remote server
Building Flex Application with Flex Builder installed in a remote server and different developers accessing it via VNC etc
I have a requirement as below..........this is mainly to look for a solution where we can see a environment.............where we can stop developer to install flex builder locally, download/check out code locally and work locally ..............Please have a look ........
1. There is Remote Server hosting our source code say 1st Remote Server
2. There is another 2nd Remote Server which support workspace for each user
3. Flex Builder installed in the 2nd Remote Server
4. Each Developer connects to the 2nd Remote Server via VNC etc log in to their workspace
5. Each developer check out code in their workspace by connecting to 1st Remote Server.
6. Start Flex Builder instance which is running in the 2nd Remote Server
5. Each developer open source code modifies, build application in their workspace and check

My issue is not with the license. The solution that I am looking for is
1. Don't want the developer to download the source code in any fashion either checked out or anything else in the local machine
2. Want the developer to work directly on the server
3. Looking for a solution where each developer is not required to install Flex Builder locally and the developer can use Flex Builder that is installed on the server and in his workspace and create/modify build on the server itself

My iPhone 3GS decided to turn itself off (on 30% battery) yesterday and hasn't turned on since. After some testing (hard resets, DFU mode), tiny umbrella recognises it in DFU mode, as does Redsn0w. neither devices can successfully kick the phone out of the restore loop.
The screen stays blank throughout, no apple logo, connect to itunes logo etc. however every now and then the charging sign will appear (empty battery with a little bit filled (red)). even if i unplug it from my iMac the charging symbol stays there.
once I get the phone in DFU mode iTunes recognises that there is a phone connected that needs to be restored, it doesn't matter if I click restore or option + restore the process will fail on Error 1600 or "this device is not eligible for this build".
My iPhone is not unlocked or jailbroken. Before the incident with the coffee I managed to synchronize and update its firmware as indicated by iTunes. The latest update for my iPhone was iOS 5 firmware. My intent is not to unlock or jailbrake the device, just to make it work again.
Here are some things I've tried since:
1. Exiting recovery mode via Tinyumbrella
2. Entering DFU mode via Redsn0w
3. Shift + Restore and using firmwares from 5.0 to 5.0.1 to upgrade my iPhone.
4. Remove hosts to my Host file (in relation to the "device not eligible for this build" issue)
5. Try redsn0w and use IPSW to see if it is recognized by iTunes (iTunes recognizes the iPhone but then at the very last minute shows error 1600.
6. Save SHSH files and use Tinyumbrella to uploaded them to my iPhone.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me on this. I might be doing something wrong or maybe not even considering the right steps to solve this issue. I don't know if there are missing drivers that are preventing the device from communicating with iTunes properly. Of some tool that can be used to correct this problem. It may or may not be fixable but I think it is worth the try.

Problem now resolved as I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6. Seems App Store doesn't like anything previous to 10.6.

Been using Firefox (many years) version 3.16.. Received invitation to download Firefox version 4 for Mac this morning and did so (regretably losing 3.16 version) because now the new version 4 won't open. I just keep getting the error message "You can't open the application "Firefox.app" because it is not supported by this architecture." I'm using the latest Mac OS 10.5.8. The processor is 1.8 GHz Power PC G5.
I trashed the first download and downloaded a 2nd Firefox version 4 and had the same results.Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

We've installed a new Audiocodes Mediant 1000B gateway for our customer. They only have about 6 users enabled for Enterprise voice and using Lync for all calls. They have an intermittent problem whereby the first call attempt to a number on the
PSTN fails with 12000; reason="Routes available for this request but no available gateway at this point". There is only one PSTN gateway installed. All routes point to this gateway. What I found initially is that the calls
were failing after 10 seconds which is the default "failovertimeout" in the OutboundRouting.exe.config. I found this post http://voipnorm.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/lync-2010-gateway-timeout-call-failures.html and
changed the value to 20 seconds. Subsequent failures failed after 20 seconds (the new value). The interesting thing is that the second attempt even a couple of seconds later succeeds. My Lync server event log has 46046 "A call to a PSTN
number failed due to non availability of gateways." for the failed call and 46047 "A PBX gateway is now responding to requests after some failures." for the successful call moments later.
My environment is Lync 2010. A single enterprise edition Front End with collocated mediation. The server is virtual and in a different physical location to the gateway. The two sites are connected via a LES1000. The RTT between the
sites is very low so it isn't necessarily networking.
In the Syslog output on the Audiocodes we don't see the call even reach the gateway. It's likely that Lync has simply marked the gateway as down and doesn't route the first call. Then it wakes up and marks it as up and routes the next call.
Update wise I'm on 4.0.7577.183, 199 and 217 for those that are up to date and the only components that are behind say that 223 is available. Those being Core Components, Lync Server, Conferencing Server and Web Components.
As I said, this is intermittent, apparently doesn't happen for every user (which I don't buy), but is easily replicated on request.
I definitely think changing the failovertimeout value has reduced the number of failures. But realistically I don't want users sitting there for 20 seconds before their call fails. Or 19 seconds for the call to route.
I've found a few posts on this and similar issues. I don't get the 25051 or 25052 errors.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

also the two servers encountered the issue were mailbox servers and part of same DAG , it worth mention the alert were resolved
