CBS forum website has excluded Safari

Question

It may be of interest to Safari authors as well as users that CBS has decided not to allow full access to features for Safari users. You will notice in the response that they will include Firefox as well as IE. What makes Safari non-negotiable for websites like this?

+I noticed that there is no way for me to include quotes in my responses the way other members can and also that the posted message ignores spacing or returns that I put in. I did not understand why until I peeked at the site in Firefox and discovered that it is set up to deny many features to Safari users.+

Safari follows the rules and ones like IE do their own thing and HTML programers are too lazy to write correct HTML using hooks that aren't fully accepted principles along with being too lazy to test in other browsers.
My HMO only accepts IE and my broadband only IE and firefox.
Times are changing and in time Safari will be more accepted
