WTH Adobe! Build # 6982 is worse than garbage - I can't get work done like this!
Thanks for the buggy *** update!
Event the most mundane of tasks (insert an image????) causes wide-spread chaos!
Things that have worked for years are broken! WTH? You usually drop this kind of horror on us with a full number update at least.
Dammit you guys can't do a simple update without destroying your product?

I've seen quite a few responses like "could also be related to your OS and system configuration".
Quite frankly, I call BS. Absolutely no other production app I'm using is experiencing these problems. Only Illustrator, and only in the last four weeks.
The key word there is production, people use this thing to make money, we don't make things, our clients don't make money. Everything stops. That only happens so many times in a business before it's not allowed to happen again.
• Using a trackpad and a Intous unleashes a holy batch of chaos, try dragging a handle and watch your object expand to x15000 size
• Workspaces vanish half way off the screen, panels, app toolbars
• Same goes for Save dialogs. They appear off screen somewhere so you get to play "save my work somewhere roulette"
• Dragging/Panning behaves awfully on anything but a trackpad
And whilst I'm griping, why does Creative Cloud periodically decide to run at 105% processor, and eat all my memory for hours?

Photoshop cc 2014 with Extension Builder 3 not working properly.

I can't get even the most basic panel to work in CC 2014. I have created a Default Extension Builder project in eclipse. I then follow this instructions Adobe Extension Builder and Creative Cloud 2014, but when I try to debug it, it doesn't work. The panel shows up (with nothing in it) but says "Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded."
I have created an extension for CC, then changing everything according to the link above, tried to start it in CC 2014 I get the same error, even though it worked in CC.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem or what is causing it?
If not, could anyone provide me with an empty panel project made in Extension Builder that works for you, so that I can maybe figure out what the differences are.

After updating to version 2014.3 website build crashes on Save or Save As (new name)

Sequence of events after updating to 2014.3
Opened current build.
Muse window said 1234 assets have changed
Chose to update assets
During review it brought up one item around 17%. I chose to merge with Muse.
Completed updating assets
Published complete site (not just changes), completed successfully
Removed the item that was shown during the review (see above)
Re-published site with "changes only" successfull
Attempted to save the website using same name (Save)
Crashed with this error:
"Object UID:U19775 has two (or more) owners: U4308 and U4288"
Reopened the same .muse file
It opened the site with a "-recovered" tag added
Did not say anything about assets changed like the first time.
Published to a new site successfully
Tried to Save As to a new .muse file
Crashed and gave this long error:
"UIDs With Multiple Owners: ImageFrame owned by PagePageItem and PagePageItem and PagePageItem and BaseLink and PagePageItem and PagePageItem"
What can I try to resolve this or should I upload my .muse file for an examination?

Delete all files in this folder C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
Delete all files in this folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\SLCache
Delete all files in this folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
1.Save a copy of this file to your desktop C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC
2.Save a copy of this file to your desktop C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC Libraries\2014.3
3.Save a copy of this file to your desktop C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC Library Then Delete these files in the original folders.
When you are finished with the reinstall, open any Mulib file from wihin muse to re-establish the library folder ,
copy files from the respective library folders that you have saved to your desktop and put them back in the library foders,
so you dont have to reinstall all your Mulibs
Now Uninstall all Muse Apps & restart your Computer
Then start this process again
1) First Install Muse_2014_2_CC_LS24 which will install to c:/
2) Then Install Muse_2014_3_CC_LS24 Which should automatically install to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC 2014
When this is complete you should have no folders left in C:\Adobe Muse CC 2014 (DONT DELETE THE FOLDER JUST LEAVE IT THERE)

heute morgen wurde ich erinnert Dreamweaver 2014 cc zu aktualiesieren.
Getreu dem Motto, das kann ja nicht falsch sein, habe ich es gemacht.
Und nun habe ich das Theater!!!!
Einstellungen sind verloren gegangen ( habe ich wieder hinbekommen).
Die Probleme die ich jetzt noch habe:
Wenn ich eine PHP-Datei aufrufe, in der eine Abfrage enthalten ist, laufe ich auf diese und ich kann nur im Quelltext (ohne zu sehen was passiert) bearbeiten.
Auch kann ich bei normalen html-Dateien nur den Quelltext bearbeiten.
Was soll der Schwachsinn.
Warum übernimmt man nicht nach Rückfrage die Einstellungen.
Jedemal das gleiche Theater.

FTP Passwords not retained. Business Catalyst widget not functioning correctly

I am using OS X 10.10.3, Dreamweaver 2014.1.1 Build 6982.
I am unable to connect to my remote server through business catalyst. it tells me that my credentials are incorrect and to check the settings.
I check my credentials for the ftp server and it is not retaining the password. I re-type the password and test connection. No problems.
I try to connect to remote site again to update pages and the same problem happens. I go back to site settings and the ftp password is blank again.
I have followed the steps described in the known issue page and it did nothing to help .
the add on widget for business catalyst is not able to connect to the site either.
I would really like to find a fix to this asap as I need to update my site via Dreamweaver.
Note. I am able to connect to the web portal for my business catalyst site without issues, so it is not a problem with my account.

First of all, could you try to log in to the Business Catalyst Admin Dashboard of your site and check if you are able to log in from there.
Could you uninstall BC DW add in on DW CC from Extension manager and also from https://creative.adobe.com/addons
I would recommend you to uninstall BC add in from both places and then install BC Add in from https://creative.adobe.com/addons as well as download and install the add in via Extension manager ( https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/4965/install )
Let me know by trying these steps, if that works or not.

I want to go back to the previous 2014.2 version. .3 is much too buggy and full of error messages. Creating problems as I am on a timeline with my client and I don't have time to fool around with all the problems.

You didn't mention what error(s) you've encountered? A workaround for the most commonly hit problem is here Re: error in Muse : Object UID:U6875 has two (or more) owners: U3633 and U3165
If you have a copy of your .muse file that has not been saved using 2014.3, you can downgrade by uninstalling Muse and then choose Previous Version in the Filters drop down in the Apps panel of the Creative Cloud desktop app. There will be a popup next to Muse where you can select a prior version to install.

I think this issue can be caused by BUILTIN\Administrators might be deleted by someone else. Local Administrators group is equal to BUILTIN\Administrators group on Report Manager. By default, BUILTIN\Administrators user is granted with Content Manger Role.
When someone delete the BUILTIN\Administrators group in the Folder Settings, Local Administrators group cannot access report manager and report server any more.
To fix this issue, please use an account which has access to report server to assign some sufficient permissions to the account “Microsoft\MCSD”.
Another possible is the operating systems limit the overuse of elevated permissions by removing administrator permissions when accessing applications. To fix this issue, please open the Report Manager in Internet Explorer with Run as administrator option.

Window will not scroll down in Design mode in DW CC 2014

On a Wacom Companion running DW 2014.1.1, build 6981 Windows 8.0, opening a page, it will not scroll down in Design unless I click Split, then it will scroll some more and stop. Have to click modes back and forth to get to bottom of the screen. No issue viewing the page in a browser. Have 8 Tabs (pages) open, and other programs. Sys shows CPU/MEM at 38/84. Win 8.1 is installed, just need to reboot to activate upgrade.

I remember I read a user complaining about high waits on PREEMPTIVE_SP_SERVER_DIAGNOSTICS when he installed CU5 for SQL
Server 2012 SP1, but in your scenario you have a SQL Server 2014 with CU1 (build 2342). I am treating this as a bug and that is the reason I would like you to consider applying CU5, the latest cumulative update, to see if that solves the issue.

Trying to upload rds in sql server express 2014; feature not supported in this version

I'm trying to preview sql server 2014 and report builder capabilities; I created a rds and am trying to upload it to ssrs and I get the message that this is not supported? Is this only available in versions beyond express?

So we get this NEW update on 1/14/2014 it is build number 17.17
To say it is annoying is an understatment. No one asked for this update and the NEW annoying ads outweigh any small improvements.
1) When you push giude button the sides now have EMPTY wasted space. Taking away 25% of HD screen.
2) When you push giude button. There is a huge annoying Ad on the bottom. With the same Ad all the time. This new AD on add is uncalled for and takes away from the guide experience.
3) When you push giude button. You now see a Verizon Fios logo. Why do I need to know I am on Verizon Fios. I pay for the service and see your logo on my bill.
4) The new Tip of the day screensaver is annoying,but I can understand the motive behind it.
Instead of making your excisting boxes more annoying. Here is an idea. How about bringing out the new Media 6 turner box as promised many years ago

The ads are enough for me to consider switching to Cablevision much as I don't like them. I pay lots of $$$ for my TV/Phone/Internet and they have the nerve to bombard me with ads?

LV Application Builder: solving "The system cannot find the file specified." error?

I don't mind banging my head off of something that feels complex but it's always frustrating to be stumped by something that seems simple... I have LabVIEW 2014 and Application Builder. I've built an program that runs flawlessly as a VI, then compiles and runs flawlessly as a .exe. But I can't seem to get the installer to work. I get the following error:
Per the suggestions in this thread and this KB article, I created a new installer build spec, then a new application build spec, then a new project with all my VIs in it, building and testing the installer at each step. None of that seemed to make a difference.
I ran the installer as admin, I created the install directories ahead of time (in case it didn't have the privileges to create folders), and built an installer without the Run-Time in it. None of that worked either. Lastly, I played around with putting all my subVIs in a library.
So since the tutorial worked I'm assuming that it's some quirk in my program. Does anyone have any experience or advice as to what specific aspects of a program play nice with the AB installers? It's one primary VI, less than a dozen subVIs, a few Type Defs, and no hardware integration. Seems like a pretty straightforward and simple program but maybe something in there is persona non grata with Application Builder?

I need help with this error please. I have a WDS in building 13 and another 1 in building 31; Both servers have MDT 2013. At some point, both deployment shares were linked via MDT but I deleted that few days to solve some deployment share corruption in building
31 WDS.
Presently I have 2 32bit images (my 64bit images work fine) giving me the following MDT error in BUILDING 13 during the image deployment:
FAILURE ( 5640 ): FALSE: Verify File: \\BUILDING 31 SERVER\DeploymentShare\Operating Systems\Image 11-13-2014.wim\image.wim

The Execution of the group (Install) has failed and the execution has been aborted. An action failed....
Please note, BUILDING 13 deployment share is not linked to BUILDING 31 deployment share. I don't understand why this error is pointing to BUILDING 31 deployment share.

1. I have diskpart and cleaned the disc, no luck.
2. I have checked the Install action for both images task sequences and even verified each action on both tasks and cant find any error.
3. I have re-generated the boot images and retyped
\\BUILDING 13 SERVER\DeploymentShare on its CustomSettings.ini and Bootstrap.ini
4. I am in the process of copying Image 11-13-2014.wim back to
\\BUILDING 31 SERVER\DeploymentShare\Operating Systems BUT again I don't understand why these task sequences are pointing to building 31. If this step doesn't work, I will restore both images from a backup and re-added them to building 13 MDT.
But I don't think these steps are the solution.I am out of ideas here...

I disabled McAfee AV, moved images boot files to a different location, regenerate boot images files in MDT, update deployment share, re-add boot files to WDS & refresh WDS. This works for me.
