Cc 2014 unexpected closure of the program
Hi, I have kind of a problem, because when I open any programs of the CC 2014 Suite, it closes in less than 30 seconds. It happens when I click on any button or just in the program's windows. I try to see in there are any virus, if there are conflicts with any hardware or software. I really don't understand what happens. Thank you for your help, Patrick

Win 7 64bit, have PS cs6, pscc. pscc2014. also Lightroom 5.5 (just upgraded to 5.6). Also the latest updates for all Adobe programs. But still get
But the program does start and seems to work well. But annoying as hell!!!
Also don't understand why there is pscc2014 rather than just updating pscc??

Photoshop CC 2014, A problem caused the program to stop working
When opening Photoshop CC 2014, I get "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly". Works fine on my home computer but the new one in the office has the error message. I have the latest cloud version of the program. I've updated the AMD/ATI display driver- first from the HP site supporting the Win 7 Pro laptop I'm working on(driver ver.13.2) and then from the AMD site (ver.14.1) I've installed all windows updates. Still get the same message followed by Photoshop closing itself out.
Has windows ever notified anyone of a solutionI think once Windows notified me of a solution (which was to update my video card driver). Most of the time you don't get a direct response, but submitting the report does give the engineers something to work with in order to try to find out what is causing the problem.
Anyway, there are about a million different things that can cause any application to return this generic error message. While you've already covered a couple of the possible solutions, there is still a ton of stuff to try. Since Photoshop is working on one computer but not the other, and knowing that Photoshop is exactly the same between both computers (assuming you are using the same version), then the question really becomes "what is different between the two computers?" Anyone know the cause of the unexpected closure of the iMovie application versión10.0.2 Software OS X 10.9.2 (13C64) Maverick, while importing video for editing?. The computer is in use latest MacBook Pro 2011 model MacBookPro 8,1, 4 Gb RAM, 2.4 GHz processor Intel Core i5.
That did not happen with the previous version of iMovie on the original OS Lion.

The dialog will show the file name and original file path.
Use the file name to search for your photos and then put them back in the correct folder - shown ringed in red on my example. -
I am trying to use the "App Store" on my Macbook Pro but it will not allow me to open the program. It automatically says, "App Store has closed unexpectedly." Whenever I tell it to reopen, the exact same messege pops up. My computer has all of the latest updates from Apple.
I tried deleting the program then running the software update to try to get the program again but it did not work. Where can I manual download the actual app store program, or fix the one that I have.

I have a laptop with iOS 10.9.3 and today I upgraded my iPhoto to version 9.5.1. When I tried to look through my pictures, I would click on an event and then click one of the picture thumbnails to see it larger, it would slow down and then show that picture, but it wouldn't let me scan left or right, and it wouldn't let me back up into the screen of thumbnails. After updating iPhoto, I can't even run the program. It opens a gray window and shows the thinking wheel, then the program quits unexpectedly. I also tried restarting the computer and that didn't work.
Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto

I bought a CS3 creative suite on a student license in 2008. The original MAC laptop has died and I am trying to install it on a MAC desktop. the programs installs successfully but never ask for a serial number. the programs will open but I can not open any files, I get a Adobe Updater quite unexpectedly message. Is this because the serial number has not been entered? I have tried chat about this problem twice, also use Adobe connect and was not helped. How do I enter this serial number?
activate is grayed out. Registration is available and when I select it, it says "A problem was encountered while trying to send the information over the internet" So I select "submit again" and nothing happens. Then the program closes and I get the added updater quite message.

I have just updated Acrobat to version 10.1.13. I am using a MAC Running Yosemite. When I try to scan a document, after the printer scans Adobe Acrobat quits and I get an unexpected closure error. I am running Mac OS 10.10.1. This only started happening when I installed the update of Adobe Acrobat.

Is the printer connected wirelessly or wired?
Go to Preferences and under categories go to > Convert to Pdf then select the Image Capture and then hit ok button.
Close Acrobat and then relaunch it and see if it helps you while you do scanning.

1st attempt to open an application after the computer has been shut down a message says(as an example)" the application PowerPoint quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. When I click "Try Again" the app opens normally and usually runs ok sometimes it will quit unexpectedly but when reopening at that point it opens ok. Then there are 2 buttons below the dialogue box that say "Use new settings and Use original settings" This happens every time I try to open Power Point, Excel, Safari, Entourage the first time each new day. If I have been running any of those programs and have not shut down the laptop then the program will reopen normally but may shut down unexpectedly on its own and sometimes not. What changed and how do I fix this problem? Running OS X10.4.11 and software updates are current. Ran diagnostics and checked out ok.Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode? -
So I download photoshop cc (2014) and when I go to open the program, it gives me an error message and shuts the program down. It says," A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program." Can someone help me please?
I've got the same issue and it affects all my adobe software. You are not alone as I have seen several postings looking for the answer to this help request.

I have been using Elements 12 without a problem for 9 months. Now when I try to open the program, I get an error message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 quit unexpectedly" and it will not open at all. What can I do to open the program?
Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

I am working on some books that I have had no problem creating in Indesign and this week, I was doing something and got an error message and had the program crash while I was working on something and lose my unsaved work. It happens all of a sudden and has been frustrating. Thought it was an installation issue, but this also happens on the newest version of CS6.
The original files (“books”) were created in CS4.
What I’m doing is copying a template for the appendix that was established in the first book into all subsequent books.
Here is the process that I used on CS4 for the first 10 books –
1. open a file that already has the completed new appendix.
2. Open a file that needs the new appendix
3. Select the appendix pages from the pages menu in the completed file and “move” them to the new file.
4. Voila!
When I started using CS5 this worked for one book. Now the last book is giving me an error message during step 3. So, I select the pages I want to move and click “move” and then I get a message that says “the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close”. This is the same message I got with CS6.Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

After I purchased the creative cloud, I receive an error message when trying to use premier pro cc 2014. It states "Adobe Premiere Pro 2014.2 has stopped working. A problem has caused it to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution." When I used the trial I never received this message. Now after purchasing it I receive this error each time I open PP and am unable to use. it. Any ideas or support to fix this issue?
What does the detailed crash report say?
And have you updated your video card drivers from the GPU maker's website? (most crashes on launch are due to bugs in out of date video card drivers) -
My CS6 program that has never had a problem before, is not telling me that there is an error and that it "unexpectedly quit" when I simply try to launch the program. I have restarted my computer several times. It does the same thing each time. So then I tried uninstalling the program and re-installing. It said that it could not install due to an error. So I STILL can't launch my program. I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. I have to edit photos for a photoshoot and return them tomorrow. :/

Adobe Muse CC 2014.2 - Will not open a new site or load an existing one, unable to use the program.
Hey - I'm trying to build a new site using the updated Adobe Muse (2014.2 CC). I was able to use it without issue up until this update. Now when I start the program, nothing loads when I select a "New Site". When I choose to load an older file, the program encounters an error and crashes. Currently, the program is not usable at all and I need it to have it functioning. Please help. Thanks
