CC 2014: What has replaced kSetPasteboardPrefsCmdBoss?
Hi everybody,
I wish to be able to change pasteboard size. I have noticed in CC SDK there is a command for this purpose: kSetPasteboardPrefsCmdBoss. This command does not exist anymore in CC 2014 SDK.
Is there another way to set the pasteboard size?
I have seen the IPasteboardPrefs that should do the work, but I'm wondering if I had to implement my own command to set it or if I missed something.

It occurs when using "Use Graphics Processor" in the Performance preference. I made the above vertical lines, but the horizontal lines shooting off to the left are done by Photoshop!
I guess I can just not upgrade to 2014 and stick with CC so I don't have to give Adobe money while this is hobbled for me. OH WAIT - can't do that. I have no choice but to pay Adobe a pound of flesh every month. Will this be fixed? Probable not.
I have a $600 graphics card that works fine everywhere, even in Photoshop CC, but fails to be utilized in 2014 and it's entirely my problem.

Is Final Cut Pro 7 support due to be terminated soon? I know that Final Cut pro X is awful but has it been replaced by something new? If so will Final Cut Pro 7 be able to interact with any new version?
When it first appeared in 2011, FCP X attracted a lot of adverse criticism because it appeared that Apple, in their enthusiasm, had rushed it out a bit too quickly whilst there were still some glitches that needed ironing out and a lot of features that had not been incorporated.
Since then there have been 8 revisions and these later versions have answered pretty well all the criticisms that were levelled against it.
As with every brilliant new invention there were teething problems coupled with dinosaurs who resented anything different or new ............. when electricity took over from candles there were numerous prophets of doom and history has countless similar examples. -
CS Review allowed for colloboration of a video file. Once uploaded to the CS Review space, it could be reviewed and user comments fed directly inside of Premiere Pro for easy editing. Life was good. Then one day, it was gone and Creative Cloud (CS 6) arrived. With my team stretched across the country, we relied upon CS Review. Where do I find this same type of functionality within Adobe Premiere Pro?
Currently there is no replacement for CS Review video reviews.

Messages has replaced all my text with a load of letter A's in boxes. What is that all about. When I type a new one it is fine until I hit enter then the same thing applies. Has anyone a fix for this?

JasonBack up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.
Start up in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
If you still have problems, then from the Font Book menu bar, select
File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...
You'll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.
Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable. -
In iPhoto most of my photos appear to have been replaced by much smaller versions. What has happened and how can I get the full size photos back?
That is either a bug in Firefox 5 or the script has a problem with Firefox 5.<br />
It works in all other Firefox versions like Firefox 3 and 4 and 6 (Aurora) and 7 (Nightly). -
just replaced my broken iphone with a replacement. Now when I try to sync my audiobook library i get a warning that all of my music, etc will be deleted. I can drag and drop but it's a pain in the ***. What has changed?

The phone you have was replaced, either under warranty, or as an out of warranty replacement, & should have been returned to Apple. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous retailers will fix these phones, & then re-sell them. Your only option is to go back to whoever you purchased the phone from & confront them

What has happened to making the customer happy?
I have 5 months left on my contract (November 2014) and yesterday I dropped my phone and it is completely dead. I carry insurance on the phone so it can be replaced. I would prefer to upgrade at this time to a new phone (Samsung Galaxy). I went into the Verizon store and was told that unless I paid retail I would not be able to get a new phone as I was under contract. Really? Can I not extend my contract by another 2 years and get the phone I want now instead of waiting until November? I told the employee that I would be going to T-Mobile since they are paying EFT's and offering the Galaxy for $0 down. The monthly payment would be the same as I would get at Verizon. He said "then that's what you should do". Again, Really???? I have been with Verizon for more than 10 years! I would consider myself a good and loyal customer. What has happened to making the customer happy? I was more than okay with extending my contract for an additional two years and completing the 5 months I have left. All I wanted was to purchase a phone at a "customer rate" not a retail rate. I am now shopping other carriers and plans. Not the way to do business Verizon!
You agreed to complete a 24 month contract, you are only 20 months into that contract. The Samsung you're referring to or any phone with T-Mobile won't be free, you will end up paying the full retail price of that phone like you said you did not want to do with Verizon. If you have insurance use it to get your phone replaced and then wait for your upgrade date.

updated to new 2014 cc. In bridge when I go to tools/Photoshop/Image Processor....I get this message "adobe photoshop 2014 CC has quit working" Anyone have a fix for this??
I use a windows 7 pro and have no problem like that from bridge cc when I select a thumbnail then use menu Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor.. I see Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 start up then I see the Image processor dialog and that one file is selected in the bridge I the complete the dialog and click run. The image files are created. Photoshop remains open after the image files are create with no open documents. I need to click on the bridge in the task bar to bring bridge back into focus.
What does you system configuration? -
After I purchased the creative cloud, I receive an error message when trying to use premier pro cc 2014. It states "Adobe Premiere Pro 2014.2 has stopped working. A problem has caused it to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution." When I used the trial I never received this message. Now after purchasing it I receive this error each time I open PP and am unable to use. it. Any ideas or support to fix this issue?
What does the detailed crash report say?
And have you updated your video card drivers from the GPU maker's website? (most crashes on launch are due to bugs in out of date video card drivers) -

I just installed Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 as trial to see if its working on my system but as soon as i launch it, it crashes with the following errors on splash screen: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.0 has stopped working followed by Adobe QT32 Server CC 2014.0 has stopped working.
System Info:
Windows x64 bit
16GB RAM
Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.39GHz
NVIDIA GeForze GTX 660 (fully updated)
I turned off Windows 7 Sync Center (suggested in adobe forums) but it didn't help.
I tried running it as administrator, and playing with the permissions but nothing helped.
Please help me with my problem.

I try format pc ans reinstall win7 64 bits totally clean, but nothing...
Drivers are update, intel i7,nvidia gtx 760,all works fine in all aplications and games.
When open media encoder or premiere or after effects crash is startup and show message adobeqt 32 stoped.
The sp1 are install too.
I think what adobe cc 2104 fails hards and adobe needs fix this.
The solutions how reinstall or update drivers not work, fix a problem please. -
InDesign CC 2014.2 has stopped asking me if I want to save changes when I close a file. It's automatically saving, but I don't always want to save changes. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your help.The handler layer as provided in JHeadstart before ADF existed, has now been replaced with ADF databinding layer. Whereas in the pre-ADF days, you would add custom methods to JHeadstart handlers, you now add these methods to the application module impl class, and then you can drag and drop these methods onto your page or struts action. The ADF binding layer will ensure that your method gets called correctly.
