CC and Lightroom offer

I would like to take advantage of the latest offer. Lightroom 5 and CC for £8/95 per month for twelve months. Will the price increase after twelve months.
I currently use Elements11 but would prefer to upgrade.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Luis Rebelo
"After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering."
This is referring to the price of the offering after the first 12 months, so it's not necessarily the price it is today.
We don't have plans to change the price, but just like all of our other prices for our services and products, the prices may change in the future - it may go up, it may go down.
Unlike some of our other Creative Cloud promotions where you get an introductory price for a year and then after a year it goes up to the regular price, the price for the photography bundle is the regular price. So, once you have been a member via the Photography program a year, your price does not automatically go up.
Hope this clarifies matters.
Thanks
Bev

For a limited time, Adobe has opened up the Photoshop Photography Program for all customers worldwide – in other words, for the next couple weeks there are no qualifications or eligibility requirements at all and anyone can get it...
Pricing, components, and all other details of the package remain the same.

  • Photoshop and lightroom offer

I'm considering taking up the offer of Photoshop and Lightroom for £8.78/month but your terms state "After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering.". What do you mean by that?
Will the renewal be at current offer price of £8.78/month, or the current offer price at the time of renewal - which could be anything

  • Current Photoshop and Lightroom 5 special offer for $9.99 / month

I want to buy the offer for $9.99 / month (photoshop and lightroom 5), but I purchased lightroom 5 a few months ago (then I still bought it outright).  If I cancel in a year this special offer will I also loose lightroom 5 then????

If you cancel the offer in a year,  you lose PS CC and LR CC in a year.     But if you own LR5, you will still have LR5.

  • With the new offer of $9.99 for CC and Lightroom 5, can I cancel at the end of year without penalty?

After reviewing the current offer of $9.99 for C.C. and Lightroom 5 can I cancel my subscription after the 12 months without penalty before the renewal at a different rate?

    Hi Paper-Moon2010
Yes, you can cancel after 12 months if you do not wish to renew.

  • Current offer for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5

Can I subscribe to the £8.78/month offer for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 if I already have a single app membership for Photoshop?

    Hi jljonathan,
Since you will be purchasing a creative cloud subscription, hence in future the Adobe upgrade of the product will be done simultaneuosly for the whole of Creative Cloud,
The essence of moving to CC is "not to invest separately for the upgrades & the new versions".

    Hi sagene ,
The special price for $ 9.99 is only for photo shop cc and light room 5. No , this offer does not include a perpetual license for light room .

  • Which iMac for use with Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom

Any opinions on which iMac is best for use with Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom. Not sure if the 2.7 i5 with 512 graphics card is Plenty of power or if upgrading to the 3.1 i5 or 3.4 i7 is a wiser choice given the price differences. Appreciate the help

So I was reading over your post, and even though this is older and has to do with CS5, I have some information for CS6 that will be relevant to your question now that it is time to upgade the software. In general Photoshop has always been more about RAM than Processing power, though that is important too. Until CS5 it could never quite take advantage of what multi-core processors really had to offer, and even the graphics card didn't really effect much of it outside of certain features and the 3D optio
Now that is no longer true and Adobe can effeciently use all aspects of the computer to give you much better performance.
So much so that I was able to buy a brand New ASUS with the following specs:
    Dual Core 2.2GHz Processors
8GB of RAM (4GB original to the machine)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit OS
    320GB HDD w/ 5400RPM
This machine not only runs photoshop CS6 and Launches in less than 5 Seconds... it can run Premier and After Effects as well, and this Laptop cost me less than $400 (on sale at Best Buy 2 Weeks Ago. You don't have to buy something this cheap, but isn't it great that you can and still run Master Collection effectively?
You can read my details on how to buy a Photoshop CS6 Laptop, what specs you need, comparison between Mac and PC and watch the video of my Photoshop Speed Test by reading this article:

  • RAW rendering in Picasa and Lightroom

Hi I have some questions regarding camera RAW rendering in Lightroom.
When I opened my RAW image with Picasa, Picasa initially shows the embedded JPG preview and then it shows the RAW color of my image (which the color is true to reality). However when I imported my RAW file to lightroom, my lightroom shows me the embedded JPG preview (magneta) even in the develop module. Can anyone tell me does this happen? I tried to open my RAW file in Photoshop elements and DXO Optic Pro 9 too and both of them render my RAW file as how Lightroom renders (magneta)
On the left - how Picasa renders my RAW file (the color is true to reality) ; on the right - how Lightroom renders my RAW file (magneta)

When I opened my RAW image with Picasa, Picasa initially shows the embedded JPG preview and then it shows the RAW color of my image (which the color is true to reality).
I disagree with that statement, Picasa does not provide "color is true to reality". It provides one of an infinite number of appearances, as decided by the manufacturer of the software. You may like it better, but it is not "true to reality".
Both RAW editors make decisions about how to display a RAW, and both RAW editors use a certain algorithm to make those decisions. The algorithms will not match, and will not produce the same results. One is not superior to the other. If the appearance of the RAW in Lightroom is not pleasing to you, then you have a huge number of tools to modify the appearance to get it to something you like. In particular, Lightroom offers camera profiles for many cameras that can automatically modify the appearance of a RAW photo to much closer match what the camera maker wants.
