CC app still signs out - please help

Hello.  I have not been able to sign into CC via the app on my desktop for well over a month.  I have read through many post, chatted with tech support twice in Nov, and followed the directions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html  to no avail. 
I have two computers registered with the system installed. It works on my MBP (2.66 GHz i7, OS 10.7.5), but signs out everytime I try to sign in on my Mac Pro (2x2,93 GHz 6-core, OS 10.7.5). 
On the Mac Pro, I've tried the signout and log back in to get it to update, it doesn't.  I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and I still immediately get the signout screen everytime I try to log in.  Current cloud version installed is 1.3.0.322.  I don't recall the previous version # (1.2.xxx), but it was whatever was available on 11/1/13, the first time I tried to solve this problem by uninstall/reinstall.
Can you please help?   It is incredibly frustrating to be paying a monthly fee for software that doesn't work and has consumed too much of my time trying to resolve.  Thank you.

ITG237, since no answers here, I finally had time to go onto customer care chat help.  Here was the resolution that worked for me.  Hope it works for you.
Manjunath: Please click on finder.
Manjunath: And select 'go' on the top.
Manjunath: After that select goto folder.
Donny Williams: Okay, I'm there.
Manjunath: And type ~/library and hit enter.
Manjunath: Then navigate to application support>adobe>OOBE and look for the opm.db file.
Donny Williams:  I'm there.
Manjunath: Okay please delete the opm.db file.
Manjunath: let me know once it is deleted.
Donny Williams: In the trash, but won't let me delete it because it says it's in use. All apps are closed.
Manjunath: Okay click on the spotlight on the top right.
Manjunath: And type activity monitor.
Manjunath: In that close the processes like coresync,creativecloud,AAmupdater.
Donny Williams: Okay, trash now emptied and no adobe apps running.
Manjunath: Okay have you deleted the opm.db file?
Donny Williams: Yes. Threw out trash and just double-checked path, and no opm.db file in oobe folder.
Manjunath: Okay cool! now instead of ~/library type /library and hit enter.
Donny Williams: Okay, in the system library folder
Manjunath: And then navigate to appliation support>adobe and look for the SLcache folder.
Donny Williams: Got it
Manjunath: Open the SLcache folder and move all of its contents to the desktop make sure the folder is empty.
Donny Williams: folder is empty.
Manjunath: Okay if it is empty quit the CC desktop application and re launch it and sign into it again.
Donny Williams: launched. Should I try signing in, or something else first?
Manjunath: Yes try signing in.
Donny Williams: Okay. It asked me to agree to the license and now seems to be working. Thanks!
Manjunath: Perfect! I am happy that your issue was resolved in our first contact.
Manjunath: Is there anything else I can help you with?

  • Creative Cloud desktop app STILL signing out automatically

    I realize there are other threads on this, but wanted to chime in and say this is STILL an ongoing issue.  And it seems especially worse after the last CC app update.  I've lost count of the number of times I've had to sign in today.
    After watching the behavior for two days I've narrowed this down to an issue with Acrobat, at least on my machine.  It seems that opening a PDF file is what triggers the issue.  This does not happen every time, but every time I get the request to "sign in" and I notice my systray icon is grayed out it's after I've tried to open a PDF file.  Sometimes I can open the PDF with no issues, then after a few seconds the file will close and I'll get the "Adobe Software License Agreement" dialog box which I have to accept then have to sign into the cloud again.  And of course whenever that happens the next time I try to open any Adobe products I have to accept the licensing agreement each time.  Highly annoying!!  Is this issue any closer to being resolved??

    FWIW, with the help of Adobe support, my own problem seems to have been fixed (and stayed fixed) for about a week.
    For clarity, the major problem I had was the one described by the original poster, where I'd pingpong between being able to be logged into either the (Windows 7 32 bit) Creative Cloud app, or into Acrobat, but never both. If I used Acrobat, it would shortly thereafter log me out of CC; then when I logged back into CC, the next time I used Acrobat it would demand me to log in; and the cycle repeated forever.
    Anyway. The solution was to:
    log out of Creative Cloud
    uninstall Acrobat using "Add or remove programs" (aka Programs and Features) from the Windows Control Panel (there were TWO Acrobat entries; I removed both).
    check using the Adobe cleaner tool that there were no remaining traces of Acrobat (while leaving intact Creative Cloud and any other apps). In my case there were no remaining traces; presumably if you found any traces of Acrobat you'd use the cleaner tool to eradicate them before proceeding
    log back into the Creative Cloud app
    re-install Acrobat from within the Creative Cloud app
    As I said, all has been well for a week or so. I'll report back if it quits working again.

    Everytime I try to sign in to my creative cloud app I get a message that says "you've been signed out please sign in to continue". I've quit the application and restarted it, and i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

    I had the VERY same problem with a iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.0.2. I did a hard reset and a full restore to factory settings and then a restore from a back up- nothing worked. I then read Cal4one's post on turning off the read text function (which I had just turned on days before to try out) and ta-da! all is well! I can now use Messages and when I go to attach a picture, the Photo library comes up quickly (it was not before the chance) and the Message app no longer crashes. Just to be safe, I turned off all reading functions in the Accessibility (settings/general/accessibility/speech) settings.

    Well, if you've indeed tried EVERYTHING, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

    Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
    Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

    My son is also getting this exact message on both our new laptop with Vista and the older desktop with XP. I am NOT having this problem on either machine. He has 18 downloads waiting and can't download them.
    I have checked firewall settings, pop up blockers, outdated account info, and msconfig. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and still am having this problem with his account.
    I also tried logging into his user account on both the laptop and the pc and then logged him out of itunes and then logged myself in to see if it was the installation. I had NO problems. I then turned that around and logged into my user account on both the laptop and pc and then tried to log him into MY installation of itunes, but OOPS, got the error message again.
    This has been going on for months and appears to be arbitrary. Sometimes a song will download, but sometimes another won't. He bought an album and only some of the songs downloaded. The others are "waiting to be downloaded" and when we try to "Check for Purchases", he still gets the message, even though he's IN THE STORE!

    I have the same problem with mine... but im trying to find a way to fix it without restoring it...
    but one fix is to shut it down completely ... then press and hold BOTH the power button and the home button .. hold both of those 4 ten seconds .. then release the power button but still hold down the home button .. and then it'll show something that says "connect to itunes" once u get it connected to itunes , click the restore button ... BEWARE THIS WILL WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON YOUR IPOD!!! IT WILL RESTORE IT BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS , AS IF U JUST BOUGHT IT !!!!! then it should work fine again .. but u will lose all data on there besides the things you have synced with itunes already..
    Thats y im iffy with doing this , im trying to find a fix where i wont have 2 restore it but i dont think there is 1 :'(

    If you have Intego VirusBarrier X6 installed
    1. Open /Applications/VirusBarrier X6.
    2. Click on the "Surf" button.
    3. Click on the "Ad Banner Filter" tab.
    4. Click "OFF" next to "Banner advertisement filter".
    5. Start the computer in Safe Boot, then restart the computer into normal mode.
    If don't not have Intego Virus Barrier installed
    1. Verify that the date and time is correct on the computer.
    2. Safe Boot once, then restart normally, then try downloading again.
    3. Try with a different user account if the issue persists
    If the issue persists
    Install Lion onto an empty partition (internal or external).
    Note: You can Use Disk Utility to live partition the internal drive and create a second partition large enough to install Lion.
    Start from the clean installation of Lion.
    Download Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store. Note that the original startup disk can be set as the destination for Mountain Lion during the installation process.

    There can be some of that. Unfortunately, it's up to the app developers to make their app work with the iOS.
    So checking for updates can help. You can also look at the reviews for the app, see if others have the same issue. If 8 has broken the app, all you can do is wait.
    In some cases, a reset can help. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again. (this can work if the app is fine with iOS8 but is just glitching...it's a harmless reboot of the system)
    Another thing to try is to force quit the app(s) and force them to reboot. Double tap the home button. Flick the preview for the app up and off the screen to close it. Then single tap the home button to exit the mode. Try your app again. If it's just a glitch then this sometimes clears it up.
    I know once I updated my devices I then had several updates pushed out - updates that required iOS8 so weren't available before the update.

    Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone. 
    My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac.  As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is. 
    Any thoughts on this?
