CC&B Demo on laptop

I have CC&B 2.3 installed on my laptop, but after I login http://localhost:6500/ccnb/cis.jsp with SYSUSER/sysuser00, the next screen is
HTTP Status 404 - /ccnb/cis.jsp
type Status report
message /ccnb/cis.jsp
description The requested resource (/ccnb/cis.jsp) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/6.0.13
Is anybody have any idea?

Try http://localhost:6500/cis.jsp. Have you specified a web context named ccnb? If not, the default install sets up the web application under the root context which can be accessed using the URL http://localhost:6500/cis.jsp.

Web Self Service - CC&B 2.2.0 - Tomcat - Demo on Laptop

I'm trying to install Web Self Service with CC&B V2.2.0 on a laptop for a DEMO.
The problem I get to is when I try to register a user or I click on Forgot your password link, or when I input rubbish user id and password in the login page. What happens is I receive an error of 401 from the XAI server. I followed the installation procedure inside the installation document from cc&B 2.1.0 to configure tomcat.
The error I get is: Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for url http://localhost:6500/XAIApp/xaiserver

Anyway, after playing around I decided to install another version of tomcat (using the <font face="tahoma,verdana,sans-serif" size="1" color="#000">windows</font> installer v. 6.0.20), and then I moved the SelfService.war file into webapps directory, and then tried this other server which was on a different port. This time I actually got images and etc (for some reason the images weren't working on port 6500). Unfortunately when I tried to log in I got the same error as the original post on this thread.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Otherwise I am going to try to do this install but with Weblogic since there are better instructions for that app server.It's good for reference, It is just the solution for my problem, Thanks for your analysis!

you can have a look at <a href="http://www.computacenter.de/technologien/sap/sap_ides_engl.shtm">IDES Laptop</a> or try to install IDES on your own. I did it on a P4 with 1 GByte RAM and 160 GByte Harddisk on Debian Linux.

Can someone help me synce my old G5 Motorola to my snow leopard laptop so I can use Quitktime with video screen capabilities for demo purposes and a job I have with a major website? Thanks!

Is there anyway that I can sync this Motorola G5 dual, OS 10.5.8 with my ibook OS 10.6.8 so I can use the quicktime application on the Mororola? I need to network the two computers and if someone could kindly tell me how to do this with either wifi, USB, orFirewire, I'd be very grateful. My ethernet connection is in use and I only have one and no hub. Doing this will give me the ability to work for a site that needs my expertise in recording but I have old equipment right now on the recording end. No chance to upgrade at this point as we're broke and I'm severly injured, so I am trying to find a workaround that will let me access this copmuter, with snow leapord to work with the old one with (Motorola G5 dual w/10.5.8). It means a few bucks to us if I can make it happen, and my family really need to dough. It will keep me from having to convert things to a youtube format, take the extra time involved to do that, when, instead, I could just take screen recordings instead. Unfortunately, I don't have Pro Tools on this computer or all would be fixable.

Thanks so much for your reply but that won't help in my current situation. Maybe I didn't make it clear. The latest version of Quicktime as new as it sounds doesn't support screen recording on a powermac G5 Motorola chip with OS 10.5.8 which is the highest os I can go with that machine. If I can sync the two computers so I can get the application to record from my newer computer then I'm ok. I just don't have the recording application for audio that I'm using to demo for the website on the laptop as it's about 10,000 dollars. So, I have to use the older computer to do the audio presentation and try to get the newer computer synced to it so I can use the new version that works on snow leopard to record a screen shot that will hopefully appear on my laptop instead of the old machine. Hope that makes sense. It's a bit confusing but in a nutshell it's like this:
1. I am a Pro Tools Instructor which is the state of the art application and recording device for audio and movie scoring and I have a new job where I make small snippets of tips using Pro Tools which I'd like to record with quicktime on screen as they happen
2. the best version of Quicktime Pro available for the Power Mac, OS 10.5.8 will not do screen recording on it.
3. I can use the Quicktime application from my newer laptop but I need to sync it to the old machine
4. I'm hoping but I don't know, if I do this, that I can record Pro Tools in action from my new machine buy seeing it on this laptop screen and then recording it with the new quicktime.
5. If I can sync the two computers, I'm hoping this can happen but I can't use my ethernet connection as I have it used to connect to my recording console and can't afford to buy anything new like an ethernet hub yo connect the two so I'm hoping that there's another way to connect them.

I can't remove the demo from my Laptop

I live in the Middle East, and my dad recently bought me a lap top from your stores in the U.S . but it turned out to be one of the display lap tops and i can't remove the apps and the demo that are installed .every time I try to uninstall the demo a message box pops out telling me that i need to insert an A.R.C.H.I.E disk.

Revo won't uninstall it. You must have the disc in the drive to remove ARCHIE.

Using Laptop for Demo

Dear All,
I am using my laptop for demo purposes. I have a PC as a license server and upgraded the system from PL05 to PL31.
Since i was using the laptop as both the client and the server(for demo purposes only), it was showing the "Evaluation Period" message.
One of my friend told me that i can make it not to show the "Evaluation Period" message, if i connect the laptop to the license server and run the PL upgradation setup. This task was successfully carried out.
But now the problem is i am not able to work on the laptop since it is asking for the "license server". If i connect it on LAN and try, it connects to the DB's on the server or the DB's on the laptop, as i choose. It is not connecting to the local server (i.e. DB's on the laptop), if LAN card is unplugged.
Please help!

with S-Id that allow you to request license either for your company SAP B1 installation or your clients, you will find contract installation and reseller installation in the website.
Contract Installation will only give temporary license and Reseller will give permanent but limited amount of user can have it.
As about license server asking, I think you did not start the license manager 2005 service yet or it is caused by you did not have license yet.
You actually could not connect to DB's server if no LAN card. For local server (in your note book), you could not connect, I think it is caused that you did not change the server yet.
To avoid confusing, try to request the license first and let's see if it is helpful.

Close the window and print .... Read this for the details. Once you install it - you should be able to print from the print option in any app.
I have downloaded the demo twice. I forget exactly how to do it, but it is very simple. If you installed Printopia, just try to print something - try a web page or a photo. Tap the Arrow icon in the upper right corner in most apps to get to the print option.

Demo site on laptop server

Hello,
I have copied two folders to the laptop. One is the
coldfusion front end files, one is the databases folder with
several MSAccess databases. There are other demos exactly like this
already on the laptop and they use the same OBDC settings. The
application comes up, but after I log in, I get an error saying
"Too few parameters. Expected 1."
I'm attaching the error.

You need to do what the error message states and enable
robust exception
information in the ColdFusion Administrator.
"Enable Robust Exception Information to provide greater

Then post the exact error message you are getting.
That error usually means that your SQL query is expecting a
value and you
have not provided it.

Best app to clean up my laptop?

My laptop is a few years old and getting slow, I downloaded the demo of MacKeeper and it said I have a lot of issues, what I want to know is which is the version that will fix those issues? Will the basic version do it? I don't want to pay for the 60 euro version if the 40 euro one will do it.

There really are no programs you need to clean a Mac hard drive...most issues are due to the amount of storage being used. As you get close to a full hard drive the system slows down. You can see your hard drive usage by going to Finder, Applications, Utilities, Activity Monitor and see what your hard drive usage is, cpu usage, memory usage and network activity.
Clean off a lot of the videos, photos, tunes that are taking excessive space to speed the system.
Be cautious of software that is for cleanup as that can damage the operating system...just had a user today who did that and ended up having to reinstall Mac OS X becasue of all of the damaged files.

Am configuring my laptop for demo so installing windows 2012 r2 essentials (which requires to be the DC). I know SharePoint 2013 server is not recommended to be installed on the DC. I have seen the Workflow 2013 is not supported on the DC but
still can work with the 2010 workflow. any other SharePoint 2013 features are not available on the DC ? From the SQL Server perspective this will only be a security issue the way I see, but am using this laptop for demo/test only.

How can I update my iPod on a new laptop?

So, iOS 5 is finally out next week.
I would like to upgrade to it, however since my old laptop is broke I use my mums laptop for iTunes. How can I update my system without apps beinf rid of? Last time I did it, my apps remaines intact, but I don't know how I did this.
