CC + CC2014 = frustration

I updated creative cloud on "autopilot" without even reading what I'm getting myself into, just clicking through "ok" and "install" as there is not time for me to read all the endless texts you write in the installers (me and the rest of the world have no time for this).
Now my computer is clogged with two versions of each software. I have to space on my cache drives. C: drive is almost full.
Adobe, are you having a laugh? This is frustrating on a highest possible level.
This is the worst thing you could do - make double versions for each software. There can be no good excuse for this.
How am I supposed to work now?
What software to use?
How can I clean up unused software and all of it's temp and setting files?

CC 2014 lack popular rendering formats and makes it 3 times more difficult
to work and render quickly, eating up my time. That's why I prefer to stay
with the previous versions. Can't waist 10 minutes every time I need to
render for a preview or approval.
I dont' know what format to use instead of h.264, I waisted 3 hours
researching what could give me similar results - direct preview via
Dropbox, direct preview in Google Mail and small render size with HD
quality. Adobe decided to remove this format for no good reason and
probably without any research. Many professionals use this format because
it is supported in many other platforms.

Well, My Ps CC is long gone and, apparently, re-installing it does not solve the problem. I posted another discussion on this issue within this forum entitled "Many communication issues between Photoshop CC 2014 and Bridge since update." Sorry, had forgotten about this one. I also tried calling Adobe's Tech support, but they don't seem even to be aware of such issues and were not able to present a solution over the phone. So far, here is a summary of what is happening with me, which I hope will help pinpoint everyone else's issues:
1. "Browse in Bridge" from Photoshop will result on CC app window opening asking if I am sure that I want to update "this Bridge version." I have no idea of what this means. I already updated Bridge and Photoshop over and over and the issue still occurs.
2. Bridge tools menu does not have the options to open images in Photoshop any longer. This is to me the most frustrating issue of all.
3. Mini Bridge is absent from Ps CC 2014
So, could Adobe please help here?

Cannot use Bridge after output module added. VERY frustrated. Thoughts?

I've followed the instructions for adding the output module. I've done it 3 times. Once the process is finished, Bridge will not open.
Not sure why the option wasn't included in the CC version of Bridge, but I'm getting really frustrated, and wondering why I'm paying for this.

C4D scene data importing incorrectly CC2014

Having some frustrating results importing scene data into an AE project with the new CC2014. At first I thought it was a frame rate issue, but fixed all that, started afresh but still problems. I have rendered passes that match the C4D project import, but when I extract the scene data the lights don't match the scene... just slightly out as if the time codes aren't quite matching. Repeated the process in AE CC (previous version) and no problems with everything working as expected. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Have yet to try a different project. Anyone else having similar issues? cheers. Pete

After further investigation it would appear that when you import or create a C4D file in AE, AE automatically imposes a 30fps independently of either the AE project it's created from or the C4D project it's importing. No problems for anyone working in 30fps, but over in PAL land it creates all sorts of problems if you pre render your passes and bring those into AE and replace the C4D extracted passes and add scene data such as lights etc... all very confusing... can Adobe and Maxon please fix this help out the brothers in PAL land.

PrP cc2014 crashing, lagging, and buggy

Since updating to CC2014, my Premiere Pro has been crashing more often, and overall just more glitchy (issues that didn't happen in CC). Here are some examples...
-after quitting premiere, the application won't quit, it shows "not responding" in activity monitor, and I have to force quit, or it gives me an error like this...

-Occasionally while watching footage the video will freeze, audio will continue to play, but I can't view any video. I can scrub the timeline, and click files, but I can't see any video. I have to quit the program and return. this has happened with different timeline settings (both avcintra and prores422) with different cameras (RED footage, panasonic, canon, etc).
-Just about every 30 minutes prp starts to lag and go really slow. Every time I click i get the dreaded spinning beach ball for about 5 seconds, and then it comes back. it's like editing in slow motion: click... wait.... click... wait.... click... wait.... click... etc etc. I have checked activity monitor and closed everything that is running.
-Sometimes my entire system freezes up (on different clips and in different projects)- the mouse doesn't move, the keyboard doesn't do anything, I've left it for over 30 minutes to see if it will come back, and I always have to hard restart.
really frustrating because this is happening across multiple projects, with different cameras, and different settings (which makes it hard to explain exactly what is happening because it always seems like something new is buggy)

Seems all forum it's having issues with this new release of Premiere, I just wanted to point out something nobody said before, and could be related with the poor performance while editing.
I installed yesterday a Ram monitor software on a new Mac Pro with 64gb of Ram and I just play around with a 2h sequence with footage from RED, 5D and C300. After 15min (more or less) I had 200mb of free Ram.
Hope the adobe team can solve all this bugs soon and we all can be able to work without problems, are they really looking into it or just posting things like "Choose Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache"

Issues DNxHD & CC2014. V Slow RENDER and Do I remove CC if 2014 now on system?

My Prem Pro CC suddenly v slow to render and export and exporting OUT OF SYNC (H264 etc)
Upgraded to CC2014 yesterday still v slow, constant rendering all timeline for small things like small Jpegs
Old Premier Pro CC still showing on system? Even though upgraded to 2014 Thought 2014 was just upgrade not reinstall. Do I remove CC?
I shot Avid Codec DNxHD 185x (ninja via C100), imported as DNxHD and also tested AVCHD - Been trying to export as h264 1920x1080 various configs tried...out of sync by few frames but think Video slow than audio but not across timeline.
1. DO I remove CC? - I though it was an upgrade not a reinstall
2. How can I improve awful and sudden slow render. I have cleared cache in adobe and PC. System WIN 7 - i7 3770 3,4ghz, 14Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 570 card. This must be software issue? Thanks
3. How to export in synce, timeline is in sync. Have exported VID and AUDIO sepearte and re assembled - didnt work. Have deleted render files and exported - didnt work

CC2014 is a completely separate version And just like in the past old versions are left in place As a fallback option. For your technical isssues with Premiere ask in their forum.

Direct Selection or Hand Tool will not Move object with mouse! Frustrated!

Since this recent update, I haven't been to use my mouse to move an image, text, etc. I'm running CC2014 on my Mac, not running Yosemite.
I've tried already:
Clicking some key sequence when opening Indesign so it will clear preferences - did not work.
Restarted my computer - will work for a few minutes then stops
Uninstalled Indesign and reinstalled - nothing
Uninstalled full CC suite and ran the CC cleaner - deleted all instances of Adobe folder on my mac, deleted trash, restarted computer and reinstalled - This did nothing, same issue.
I'm getting really frustrated as I don't really want to use my keyboards arrow keys to move elements. Any solutions to get rid of this annoying problem?

What happens when you enter your Adobe ID tied to your subscription?

I want to Sync my iPhone 4 to iTunes however I get an error message from iTunes each time I connect the phone to the PC saying that I should restore to factory settings. Frustrating because it's already annoying enough that I can't drag and drop mp3's!!!

I have never been so frustrated before in my life with any phone. I find it obnoxious as it is that I cannot simply drag and drop files (especially MP3's) straight from my PC directly into my phone, which I have been used to doing up until now. Everyone who convinced me to get the iPhone has instructed me that my frustration can be fixed by downloading iTunes and syncing it all up via that program (which I have never used before). So, I downloaded the program successfully, however when I connect the iPhone 4 to the PC and iTunes is open, I get an error message that 'iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone "iPhone" and that I should go to the Preferences tab of the iPhone and select 'restore' to restore this phone to factory settings. First of all, I don't understand why I need to do that. I have already downloaded apps and other important things in the 2 days that I have the phone. I am also scared that it will erase my contacts. This is such a headache. Music is very imporatant to me, but I am getting so frustrated that I don't have freedom over the phone which I thought was supposed to be one of the best out there. I would really appreciate help in this matter. I am sure the phone is great but I am on the verge of taking it back and getting something else.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Self Assigned IP address – can't figure this out. Frustrated.

This is a long post but bear with me. It proposes a challenge for the mac connoisseur. Who knows? Might be fun?
OK, here goes:
Please help. I have been trying to fix this for about 7 months. I first noticed this issue when I started traveling around the country, from hotel to hotel. While others (PC's and Mac's) had no trouble connecting to the free wifi at these hotels, I did. I kept getting "self-assigned i.p."
This was extremely frustrating. I often had to call up the i.t. guys and ask them to help me manually put in ip address, subnet mask, router (gateway), and dns. This worked much of the time but not always.
Let me also say that, sometimes it worked perfectly! I'd say about 25% of the time (at these hotels) my internet worked perfectly – just connected immediately. The other 75... "self-assigned i.p."
I just spoke to the mac "geniuses" and they told me it's not an issue with my computer at all (either hardware or software). Are you kidding me?!?! How can they explain everyone else's internet working except mine. And I'm talking like 100 or more different hotels in a 4 month period. They were trying to tell me that it was just a coincidence every time! "You'd be surprised" one guy said. Hahaha. They said that the routers aren't accepting my computer's whatever. OK, well WHY?! The router works for everyone but me. It's something wrong with my computer right?! Well no one acknowledged this.
More background info:Just had my airport card and logic board replaced. Computer came back and the sheet said "passed all hardware tests." BUT, none of my issues (I had other ones too involving battery life and not being able to access certain websites) were fixed.
I went to an apple store. They told me to do an erase and reinstall or whatever. So I did that (by dragging and dropping everything I'd saved on an external hard drive using disk utility). By the way, I also upgraded from leopard to snow leopard. So now, if I have the same issues after this I'll know both leopard and snow leopard are screwed up.... right?
OK, so I followed their instructions on deleting and reinstalling to a tee and guess what?! Everything worked! Or so it seemed. Battery fine. Websites now accessible. I figured the airport issue was fixed too. But now that I'm not touring anymore and the airport works in my house, I never encountered any issues. Until now. At my work.
I got a new job and it's one in which I HAVE to have a computer that connects to the internet. So of course, the same issue with self assigned i.p. presents itself. Everyone else in the office has no problem. Including a Mac person that used to work there.
I've been reading some other threads that are just completely confusing me. One of them might be the solution but I thought I'd detail my troubles so that some smart computer person out there can diagnose my specific problem and give me a specific fix.
I noticed that many people believe there was a bug in one of the 10.5 updates. I am pretty quick to install updates (maybe I shouldn't be because I hear that the first updates are often buggy and maybe you should wait for a while). But this problem has continued now with Snow Leopard too so... I don't know. I don't know anything anymore. I have tried everything. And Apple is telling me it's not a problem with my computer. Give me a break.
One more interesting quirk: before doing the erase and reinstall my computer could not find the Apple Store's network. After the erase and reinstall it works. That's why I assumed everything was fine! But no. And now the Mac people are saying there's no problem because they can't see it.
BTW, I have tried all the obvious things. It's not an obvious thing. But I mean, if you think it is... then tell me I guess. But I've been in the advanced tab thousands of times. I feel like I've exhausted everything in there.

then install cc 2014.

Photoshop CC program error when opening or placing files. VERY FRUSTRATING PLEASE HELP.

I'm an advertising graduate student that relies heavily on Adobe programs for my multiple simultaneous projects throughout the school year, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Muse, Edge Animate and Premiere Pro.
I'm using a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite.
I have been experiencing an incredibly frustrating issue with Photoshop and Muse, both CC 2014. I'll speak about Photoshop in this thread since, well, this is a Photoshop forum. This has been happening for almost a year now. I figured Adobe would've fixed this problem by now, especially given the myriad of crash reports I send.
While working in Photoshop, sometimes when I go to place a file I get an error message that says "Could not complete your request because of a program error." It used to be that this error was fatal and I would have no other choice but to force quit out of Photoshop and restart it. We all know how incredibly time-consuming it is for Photoshop to open (especially 10-15 times in one sitting), and being in grad school, time is not something I have a lot of when I have deadlines and projects due.
This error is still happening and for the same reasons; however, now I can still continue to work on my file, as long as I don't need to open a document or place an image...which doesn't help very much because I'm doing a lot of mockups and composites and need those functionalities. It happens probably 90% of the time when I try to place or open a document.
For the record, it's a similar issue that's causing Muse to crash as well. When I try to add an image file, it causes the entire program to crash "unexpectedly," as Muse so eloquently puts it.
Until recently I had kept CS6 on my hard drive and would dig it out to use in place of CC when PSCC would crash; however, someone told me that having both versions was likely the cause for the crashes. After much hesitation, I finally uninstalled all of CS6 from my hard drive the other day (the right way, not into the trash can, since someone is inevitably going to ask that question) and I'm still having this problem, and now I don't have my CS6 version to fall back on and now I'm in a really bad spot.
I apologize for all the rambling, but I'm really very, very frustrated with this error, and I had to do something while waiting for Photoshop to restart. Someone please help.

MacOS 10.10? Yeah, Apple is working on that bug. They already fixed the crash in the open/save dialogs, but have a few more problems to address with the open/save dialogs.
