CC Desktop App doesn't recognise installed apps

Using Windows 7 I have installed CC Desktop App and then installed several apps including Photoshop CC, Lightroom 5, etc. When I was installing everthing the desktop app recognised that it had installed all the apps, but since reboot it now thinks I haven't installed any apps, so I'm not getting updates. The Home tab still shows when I installed everything, but when I click on the Apps tab it says I haven't installed anything yet.
Worked fine on my Macbook Pro, but although the apps I've installed on Windows 7 PC are ok, the CC desktop app is not working properly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went and uninstalled the CC desktop App and simply tried re-installing it as a first step (prior to using the cleaner tool). When I reinstalled everything was fine. It recognised the apps I have installed, until...
I changed the preferences in the CC desktop app to International English and suddenly I had no apps installed again! Switched it back to North American English and they reappear! That would be a bug.

My photoshop app doesn't get installed in my computer

I installed it a couple months ago for the trial. But then I uninstalled everything. And today I bought the membership and I it says like that it gets the actualization but it doesnt installe the app.

CS1 is not supported in Leopard if you had it working at some point you were lucky. Adobe does not plan on updating CS as it is an old version. Keep in mind that CS1 is now the last version that can be updated to CS4 now that Adobe has a 3 version update window. At the beginning of March Adobe will start tiered pricing and CS1 and CS2 will cost $200 more that you can upgrade to day. As soon as CS5 is released you will no longer be in the upgrade path and will need to pay full price for the CS5 creative suite.
If you want to continue to use Leopard then it would be best for you to upgrade to CS4. If you will never need to upgrade then it would be best to downgrade your system to Tiger by either restoring from a backup of Tiger you made before your system upgrade or wiping the drive and installing Tiger fresh. You can't Downgrade the Leopard with Tiger as you could with previous systems.

Application Manager doesn't recognise Cloud apps

Now I am experioencing what I presume is another example of an activation server hiccup. I just upgraded OS from Lion to Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
The first time I opened an application (InDesign) it asked me to license the software; I entered my account info and it opened. I quit and opened again and confirm that "Deactivate" was an option in the Help menu. Opening other Cloud apps indicates the same status, ie it would appear, activated.
When I opened Application Manager it immediately updated itself. Now it claims that all the apps are available to install and thus presumably it thinks there are none actually installed on the machine. Wrong. If I click "Install" on one of them it duly starts downloading the app.
How do I synchronise the app manager status with the apps?

Try changing the language preference to English International in Adobe Application Manager and see if it recognizes them.

A1 - Lenovo App Store doesn't list installed apps or possible updates

This may be because of my inexperience with the Lenovo App Store, but whenever I start the Store app, I get an empty list of current and available apps. I did download and install Firefox cleanly, but no other installed apps are shown by the Lenovo Store app. I expected to find a list of pre-installed apps with potential updates to many of them. Am I missing something?

Yes, but you can't uninstall the pre-loaded apps unless you root the tablet. You can uninstall updates, but not the base app. I have not rooted my A1 and have no plans to do so. I am content with it the way it is. BTW I have a total of 166 aps with no problems. I would suggest you install anti-virus software (any of the free ones are OK), and look into a replacement launcher (I use GO). I suggest that if it sounds interesting, install it. You can always uninstall with no problem. I have moved any apps possible to the internal SD card. Can't install on the external card without rooting. I think that the A1 is the best sub $200 tablet out there.

Adobe Creative Cloud app not displaying already installed apps and can't install new apps Mac OS 10.9

I've been using the new Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 for a couple weeks now perfectly fine, until yesterday. I use Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects quite extensively. This morning, I opened the Adobe CC app and all but Adobe Acrobat Pro show installed. The other already installed apps have buttons to "install" but clicking this button shows the "Exit Code: 7 - Unable to complete Silent workflow" error in the logs. Ive tried disabling my Sophos antivirus program and restarted several times. The already installed applications themselves seem to function normally, they open and work projects. I've even tried to uninstall one of the already installed programs (Bridge) and it fails to uninstall, saying I need to restart my computer and disengage my anti-virus, which I've done. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe CC app as well, and have the same result. Help.

So I've completed the solutions listed in the help article with no changes. Here is how it has gone with each solution listed in the article. Also, it is not clear in the article whether these steps are to be done in sequence or may solve the problem individually, but since Solution 1 fails for me, doing them in sequence was impossible.
Solution 1: Mac OS: Run the uninstaller in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder to remove the program listed as up-to-date.
This does not work because uninstalling any of these applications does not work. As I stated in the post, the uninstaller for all of my adobe applications (photoshop, bridge, indesign etc) throws the same error each time saying I need to: restart my computer (done) close all applications (done) and disable my antivirus (done, which was fully engaged when I installed the apps originally with no issue) and disable my firewall (done, I don't use one). Not sure what I'm missing on that, plus its a real bummer that I need to reinstall all of my CC apps even if the uninstaller did work because my creative cloud app won't recoginize they've been installed.
Solution 2: Remove the OPM.db file and relogin into the Creative Cloud desktop application using the Adobe ID tied to your subscription.
This did nothing.
Solution 3: Download and install the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app from Creative Cloud for desktop.
This did nothing.
Solution 4: See the steps listed in Solution 1 to remove all installed Adobe Creative software. Once all Adobe Creative software has been removed, use the CS Cleaner Tool to ensure a complete removal. You can find details in Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6.
This did not do much because I can't uninstall the software to begin with.
What am I missing?

~ Go on App section

After downloading an App from iTunes store, this app doesn't appear on the image of my iDevice (on iTunes - App section)!!
This app appears only after i click Synchronize, and if i don't want install the app just downloaded I must abort the synchronization and then remove the app that I don't want to install!!

Newly downloaded apps will appear in the column on the left. The images on the right show what is installed on the device. Perphaps the logic has changed slightly with older builds also including what would be synced as well. Untick the box that says Automatically sync new apps and you can choose whether or not to include a new app instead of syncing, then removing.

You cannot install the store app on E it will only install on the phone memory, I don't have it installed as I can't afford the loss of space, so go to Ovi store via web browser and reject offers to install app, can still download apps !

Why has CC app lost track of installed apps since an update today?

I updated the CC app this morning. Since doing so it has lost track of all the installed apps and thinks I have non installed.
From a different post I came across the following and it mentions following step 2 of this article which I did:
"Unknown Server Error" when you attempt to log in to Adobe Creative Cloud
Anyone any ideas how to get it to remember what is installed without having to reinstall all the applications...which I'm not doing because I use quite a few.

It's not possible. Once the installer database is borked it's really borked and that is just that. Either live with it or run a full reinstall after running the cleaner tool.

How do I get the App Store app to register previously installed apps?

I have a lot of apps that were already on my computer before the App Store came out (i.e. Evernote, iWork). However, the App Store never picks up that they're already installed. It would be great if the App store could see that type of thing. Does it? If so, how do I get it to scan for previously installed apps so that it knows what to look for when there are updates or upgrades?

I have this question too.
I find some apps can download again,App Store wouldn't download it,can show it downloaded.
But I update xcode4.3.2, It can't register. even if I installed xcode4.3.1 before I download newer.

App Store app Purchases not showing INSTALLED apps

Hi all,
just updated to iTunes 10.5 and noticed that the App Store app on my devices has stopped showing apps that are INSTALLED when looking at the Purchases section, only apps that are not installed appear in the list with the Cloud icon next to them.

Yep. I have the same issue on both my iPhone 4 and iPod 4g. It occurred about a month ago (before ios5 or iTunes 10.5).

App Store did not Install apps correctly

The app store updated my iwork apps. I look at the list of updates in the appstore and these versions do not match what is on my computer. The computer still has the older versions. I am running os 10.9.2. Where did the new versions go if they are not on my compter?

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

BT Desktop Help doesn't recognise my phone number?...

Hi all, I have just joined the forum and hope that it can help me solve a problem, I am trying to use my BT BDH and it says I Havant used it before (I have LOL) so need to put the phone number it, it then doesn't recognise it.
That's it any ideas.

App Store doesn't recognise iWork apps as installed in 10.6.7

After updating to 10.6.7, App Store no longer marks my Pages etc. as 'Installed' but instead lists the normal prices. Is there anything I should do to make sure updates will be installable?

The original Mac App Store app had a bug. The new version that is installed with the 10.6.7 update has fixed the bug.
The original version mistakenly recognized apps obtained through channels outside of the MAS as installed when it should not have recognized them. Only apps bought through the MAS should show in the MAS as Installed. Any apps obtained outside the MAS should show with a price and be available to obtain through the MAS.
Purchasing an app through the MAS makes that app eligible for updates through the MAS. If it was obtained outside the MAS then one would have to get any updates also from outside the MAS. But some developers are opting to use the MAS as their sole distribution channel from this point forward. If that is the case, then there would be no further updates available from outside the MAS.
