I have a MacBook Pro OSX v10.8.5 and purchased PS via the CC with an annual membership. I can not get CC installed on my computer! heres what happens:
1. I click CC installer icon on desktop
2. a text box appears saying "CC Installer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this." I do do that.
3. Initalizing installer pops up, loads quickly, then disappears.
4.Then a white verticle rectangle with a black toolbar on top (home/apps/ file/ behance) appears and a loading circle spins.
5. This loading circle will spin forever and nothing happens. Ive tried restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the installer, and updating my comps software.
What can I do?
Thanks.Jubarudi please try solution 2 in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html. Removing the OPM.db file should resolve the difficulties you are currently experiencing.

Creative Cloud Desktop App will not install on Mac
Downloaded latest version on CC Desktop App from download center. Opened the .dmg file, double clicked on icon to install, said ok when Mac warned that this was an app downloaded from internet, entered my computer password when prompted, installer started and then stopped 3 seconds later. Actually have to restart computer to remove that stalled dialog box from screen (can't "cancel" or force quit or simply hit the red, close button). Now, when I open an app like inDesign, I get a "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application." I would be happy to reinstall but I can't because the desktop app itself won't install. Any clues out there?
I am Windows, but have a few saved Mac links... your problem looks to ME like one of permissions

I can't use the product because the creative cloud desktop app will not install .
Windows 8.1. I was able to download light room, but at the creative website, when I click on a download nothing happens. I was able to get the .exe down load file for creative clouds.. It seems to download and install with out issues until the very end it states" something happened", and a link to support appears. So, I've put in most of the time tonight to get it fixed and there is no support. I'm tempted to give it up., or, if I can uninstall all remnants of adobe I bet it would install fine. Is there an app that does a total adobe un install for remnants that cause this? My fire wall and permissions are all checked . went through the whole double check of my account. My password was not stolen etc.

The solution that worked for me was to identify the apps that were stuck updating, and then find them on my iPhone. (You can't search for them, you have to find their icon on your iPhone's desktop.) Then I deleted those apps. Then I went back to the App store, and they downloaded/updated like normal. I did the same thing for the same problem on my iPad, and that also worked.

IPad 2 Restore - Apps Will NOT Install
I have recently been having intermittent problems with my home button being unresponsive on my iPad 2. I decided I would try a restore to see if this would resolve the problem. The home button issue may be better (more time will tell) but whoa did this create an entire new set of challenges.
What I did:
1) Went into iTunes to update all apps afterwards performed multiple syncs and backups just to be safe.
2) After restore to factory settings was completed I attempted to restore iPad 2 to my latest backup from earlier in the morning.
3) Attempted restore multiple times each time an error message states: The app "x" was not installed on the iPad because the app could not be found
4) The 26 missing Apps appear in iTunes with a "Will Install" button. Pressing this button changes it to "Install". Attempted several additional syncs but apps would not appear on iPad. I also tried to restore with the iPad off, USB disconnected, holding down the home button, attaching the USB Factory Restore to no avail. All of the missing apps are current and available in iTunes such as: Amazon, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, AroundMe, Yelp, Cards, BBC News, etc...you get it...common basic apps all gone missing.
5) Went into iTunes Store on the iPad 2. Searched in folder for Not on this iPad and Purchased. Several purchased apps were missing from the list but some were there. I tried to manually download the apps that were listed from the Cloud as well as manually enter the app name to re-download and install. All of my missing apps when searched had the Cloud download icon even if they didn't appear in the Not on this iPad or Purchased screens.
6) I am currently attempting to download all the missing apps from the Cloud and will try another sync.
7) What should have been a very short an easy restore has now gone on for over 5 hours as I try multiple syncs, restarts, restores...
Does anyone know what is happening and how to prevent it in the future?
All of my software is up to date. I am running OS X 10.8.4, iOS 6.1.3, all apps were updated on both device and iTunes library this morning prior to restore.
My iTunes settings for backups is set to iCloud automotic however I performed a backup to computer before attempting the initial restore.

Thanks!!!I have a similar issue. I recently purchased an iPad Mini, and I started off by backing it up from the apps I had on my iPhone. Now, I have a number of apps that never downloaded and that I don't want on the iPad. Some of these are apps that I don't need, while others are the iPhone versions of apps. There are something like 23 apps that I have no use for, but iTunes tries to install every time I connect. I've also tried clicking the 'Will Install' buttons. There's no way to delete these apps from the iPad without first installing them, as far as I can see, and there's no way to NOT install them, in iTunes.
It''s not just annoying, it's causing problems with installation of larger files and movies. Now, every time I sync to the computer, I get a warning that I'm over capacity by 580 MB, and larger apps will not install! Clicking Revert and a bunch of other things doesn't work, either. And I can't just delete some of the apps, because I or my wife use them on our phones! -

After upgrading to iO6 my apps will not install- they have been stuck with installing only status showing.
Tap Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then in Settings make sure Cellular Data is ON. If in Wi-Fi area turn Wi-Fi ON.

Best Buy PC App will not install or repair.
Hey, sorry for this, but upon buying a PC game, the Best Buy PC app will not install. At first it went through the install wizard and all, but it wasnt installed anywhere on my computer. Then: After following the advice of a bestbuy online representitive, I searched my c drive and deleted all information and tried to re-install. Now instead of the "Install Now" option, there is the "repair". Upon selectring repair, it says "Source file not found .... verify that the file exists and you can access it". I've tried all night to get this up an runnning. I've contacted customer service 6 times and am either told they dont know what to do, or I am put on hold for 45 minutes. If anyone has any solution, it would be much appreciated. Thanks again for your time.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for letting us know you are having trouble with your PC App. Usually the "street name invalid" issue arises when there is a login disconnet. Try this:
Log in to your account on Bestbuy.com
Click "My Account"
Click "Password"
Change password
Log into PC App using new Password

I own Final Cut Pro 6 and have been running it on an older G4 tower. I upgraded to a MacPro tower and the app will not install. I get a message "Not supported on this computer" cannot believe this. Help anyone.
