You have no choice now. Unless you want a brick for an iPad. After you restore to factory settings you can restore from your backup ..... And you do backup don't you? I would never update the iOS software without backing up first. After you restore from the backup, sync with iTunes again and you should be OK. Assuming that you do sync with iTunes .....

on my account settings the shipping address is set on United States and it seems I cannot change it to UK... so my address is not accepted, what can I do?
To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in. -
I recent recieved and Ipod touch model A1213 and i cannot figure out how to get apps on it. I have tried everything i can think of and when i try to update my ipod software it tells me that its already up to date. even though its only 1.1.5. How do i fix it?
You have a 1st generation iPod Touch.

My iphone icon shows in itunes but is missing from my computer desktop. It is detected as a iphone camera device. I have tried everything from uninstalling-reinstalling, disabling-enabling, and updating. Still no iphone icon showing in my computer desktop. I am getting a message that I can't use my new Ipod on my desktop until I download a new version of Itunes. I have tried 3 times and each time it says that I do not have sufficient administrator priviliges to do this. I am the administrator and am logged in as such! I am at a loss and about to throw the thing! Can anyone help me?

After working perfectly for two years my iTouch has suddenly stopped connecting to my Hub although my desktop computer still connects. I have tried everything I can think of, including suggestions off Google/You Tube but nothing makes any difference. Any ideas. Surely it is not fit for the scrap heap after two years, but is clearly no use as it is.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

imovie won't let me drag the songs from the music and sound effects into my 'project'... I have tried everything, restarting itunes and imovie, dragging the songs to my desktop and then onto imovie, youtube tutorials...
Don't drag them, import them from Media.

CC Desktop reports all apps up to date, but Indvidual apps say they are not?
While I have the Creative Cloud desktop application open and connected I will get Windows Tray notifications from Individual Adobe applications telling there "Updates ready to Apply."
THe creative Cloud desktop app shows that all installed applications are 'up to date'.
Below is a screen clip of the desktop app showing all up to date and a open Acrobat 11 dialog saying updates are ready to install.
The Acrobat 11 dialog opened immediately after the Desktop application displayed the installed application statuses.
So are all the updates the Desktop application downloading getting applied? Or are they getting applied twice?Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, lett AAM reinstall the apps, then try to run the updates again.

I just got a new Comp and my old one tanked. I am trying to recover my firefox setting and book marks and such. I have tried doing the sync.... but it doesnt seem to want to. I am trying to sync it with my spare laptop. What I really want to do is sync it with my old laptop whose hard drive I actually had installed as a backup drive in the new system. Its complicated. I actually have the old comp synced to my android phone... but can not get it to sync with the new comp either. Its making me nuts, I have so many book marks and to add them all by hand is going to suck!!! I got through firefox's walkthrough, and it says to go to the Firefox button and select Options, then select the Sync Panel... that is the first problem! there is not "Sync Panel" on either the new or the old comp. It does not exist. I can select "set up Sync" but that is not under options, it is separate... and get the choice Create new account, or I have an account... then I can either enter my account info and a recovery key (which i dont have and cannot find) or I can get a 12 digit code to enter to sync the other device. problem is, both computers generate a code, when one is supposed to have a blank space so I can enter the sync code. Some times I get the blank space on the comp that I am trying to sync the old one too... and I enter it and nothing happens. HELP.
Thankyou. I actually figured it out partially myself. I simply opened a new Firefox sync account so that I could sync my backup laptop to my new desk top. The issue here is that I am dealing with 4 devices.
1.'''Original Laptop''' (which is no longer functional, though I have the harddrive installed as a backup drive in my new tower... it was cleaned of all bugs prior to install)
2. '''My backup Laptop'''. I have been using this device for the last 3 weeks. Was unable to sync it with my old one before it went down, so I have since added many bookmarks as such to the onboard firefox browser.
3. '''My android phone''' (Samsung Note 3... top of the line current device) to which I actually have the bookmarks from my '''original laptop ''' synced. That sync was on my now old sync account

The reason I started a new Sync account with a different email address is because I could not get anything to work as the Firefox instructions said to. So once I setup a new one everything worked perfectly as far as syncing from the backup laptop to the desktop. I finally was actually shown the previously mythical "Sync Pannel" which would not show before.
My question is this now:
I see that one of the options when sycing allows you to blend the saved data with both devices (assuming that both have bookmarks and browsing history etc.)
I need to be able to add in the sync data that is stored on my android to the other devices, most importantly the desktop. Now that this data is in two separate sync accounts... is that possible?
I had issues with both the desktop and the backup laptop being able to log into my old sync account even after I was successful in resetting the password. I tried to use the recovery key once I reset the PW and i copied it exactly and even regenerated a new one. The sync system would not accept the copy and pasted exact copy of the recovery key, it kept saying invalid key?
I would really like to get my sync data from my android to sync and blend with the new sync account as I have many many bookmarks on the android that were on my old laptop.
I hope that this makes sense... It is very tough to explain!

Everytime I try to update to iOS5 on my iPhone 4 I get an error containing 0xE while it is backing up data from the iPhone before installing the new operating system. I have done everything suggested in Apple support with no success. I still get the error everytime (about 5 minutes into backing up iPhone data). How can I upgrade to iOS5 without losing all the data on my iPhone (the error message says that if I continue I will lose all data on the phone)? If I have already synced the phone before upgrading the OS, would I be able to restore my data after installing the new OS by syncing after the OS upgrade is complete? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -
I have a windows 7 premium laptop, 64 bit driver, have tried to install itunes but recieve an error when trying to open. Error states "Apple Application Support is required to run itunes. uninstall and reinstall again, error 2 (windows error 2). have tried this 4-5 times with no success. help!
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

Okay...so I am wondering if there is a bug. I have tried changing the settings as far as sharpening for screen/matte...etc...tried to start a new catalog. Same thing. I am scared to uninstall and reinstall because i already have it on two computers. I don't have the actual cd to download as I did it through the internet. Will it be able to install it again after uninstalling?

* Is it you? or is it Lightroom?
Does it work as expected in a previous version of Lightroom? (you double-check by downloading and installing a previous version of Lightroom..).
Consider posting a zip file containing:
* one-photo catalog with source file (export one photo as catalog).
* export preset (.lrtemplate file in Export Presets folder along with the rest of your presets/preferences..).
so others can try to reproduce.

I am trying to watch video streams but every few minutes the tab switches to a flash popup that says I have to install flash to view the page. I installed it and it is all up to date but it keeps doing this over and over and over and over.
Why is Adobe doing this and what do I need to do to make it stop? It's extremely annoying and so far customer service has been absolutely useless despite the so-called support promise they have.
Someone please help with this problem...Also if there is a link I can use for one of those instant message chat supports (if Adobe offers that) can someone put it here? I keep following prompts on the website that look like they're sending you to someone who can help but all they do is send your in circles. I think Adobe should re-think that "promise" for support since even their phone lines don't have any option for Flash support or even an email address. Absolutely NOT a good company for customer support, that's for sure.

Creative Cloud Connection - Using Multiple Desktops in Mac OS X Mountain Lion
I noticed that everytime I flip through my multiple desktops or OS X full-screen apps and come back to my home desktop the Creative Cloud Connection app pops open and is visible on my desktop. The AAM never did this before. Is there a way to shut t
