CC Desktop - The infamous error code 50 is back again
Hi,
I initially posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry.
Year after year, each time a new version of CC Desktop is released, the same mess has to be sorted out : the update refuses to install with error code 50. Uninstalling and re-installing doesn't help. Each time, I have to uninstall CC Desktop, download and run the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool (which doesn't help very much), delete the CC Desktop folders (because the cleaner tool doesn't seem to clean much), scan the registry and delete what's related to CC Desktop, run CCleaner to be sure and then re-install.
A lot of users have the same problem since ages and nothing changes. Please tell the person who is responsible for this crap to think about another job. Why make the installation of this piece of code so complicated ? If they are unable to create a working installation program, there are tools on the market to do this cleanly.

However, if you are still facing this issue kindly let us know, so that we can try to fix it up for you.
Thanks Atul,
For the moment, the only method that works to fix this issue each time a new version (Windows 7 64-bit) is released is as follows :
1. Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop
2. Download and run the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool (against Creative Cloud only)
3. Manually delete the Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud folder under Program Files (x86) - I noticed that sometimes there are multiple folders with that name ending with a different version number. Anyway, the Cleaner Tool doesn't clean very much, apparently, since it doesn't even remove the program folder itself.
4. Manually clean the registry from all references to Creative Cloud Desktop
5. Run CCleaner
6. Reboot
7. Download and run the Creative Cloud installer before running anything else.
If this can help someone...

I recently restored to factory settings.I updated iTunes Store account details and change of password on my PC. After that I tried to log on to the Store via my mobile and was confronted with my previous ISP,s log on page requesting password which when entered correctly it didn't recognise. The restoration action solved that particular problem but has now left me with the "error code 4001 problem. Be grateful for solution..
means that apple mobile device service needs to be started try this article to get it turned back on

After installing the most recent iTunes update/version iTunes will no longer run on my PC (Windows 7). I receive multiple error windows with the Microsoft error code R6034. Microsoft's Help site states that this error occurs when a driver attempts to access the C++ library without a "Manifest". I do not know what a manifest is, but apparently any attempt to directly access the C++ library is not permitted. The site instructs the viewer to contact the application developer.

Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates -
I cannot burn purchased tunes on a blank disc because of the infamous "error 4310". Countless ITunes customers are frustrated that there are no "free" answers for this dilemma. Unfortunately, the "support" that is so highly promoted and encouraged is merely community members venting their frustrations.
ITuines this is not at all professional on your part.Hi to everyone that replied and many thanks for your input.
I have bought well known and established artists CD's containing their music, track lists and artwork files from branded retailers. When I have loaded them into iTunes, it automatically loaded the artwork files FROM the CD I bought, so all that nonsense about audio CD's having nothing but audio isn't accurate. No, they were not DVD's either. I will endeavor to find a software package that CAN do what I need as an independent artist. iTunes just doesn't cut the mustard for me, even though it's free. I do know about issues with copyright and artists protection, but there should be something that can be done or made in iTunes, so it doesn't infringe copyright of artists, but can be used by artists like myself without the software being abused by freeloaders. Oh well, maybe when I'm too old for this malarkey... -
I got the Mac error code -36 while trying to move a backup file
I got the Mac error code -36 while trying to move a backup file (made by Time Machine) to another drive. The full text of the error message is:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “boot.efi” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)It's a disk error. Although Apple documentation says you should be able to copy Time Machine backups in the FInder, that doesn't necessarily mean it will work. I suggest that, instead of copying the existing backup, you start a new one on the other drive, and keep the old one. You need more than one backup anyway.

I am having a problem with the infamous error 8. I can chat with friends that have iChat, but i can't chat with my sister who is using AIM. She can chat using AIM with other friends who have a mac, but not me, so i believe the problem must be on my end.
I have tried most of what I have read on these forums to no avail. Here is my error message. Please advise...

Can anyone tell me what the following error code means? 4MOT/2/40000004: BOOSTA-1235
Fans are running permanantly and this is the error I get when running apple hardware test.SNS is a sensor error. The sensors read actual temperatures at several points inside the Mac chassis to decide when things are heating up, and which fan or fans speed up to improve cooling.
Some of those sensrs are just a thermal-sensitive transistor mounted to a surface that conducts heat, and replacement does not run into big money. Disconnected wires are sometimes a possibility, especially if things were changed nearby, e.g., new heatsink. -
What does the "Copy error code files" option do in the build spec properties
I have the "Copy error code files" checked for my application build specification but when I run my EXE on a different computer and call the simple error handler, I don't get the custom error from my computer's
C:\Program Files(x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\user.lib\errors\User-errors.txt file. Instead I get the "this error code is undefined" explaination.
I've also tried including that file in the "always included" section of the build spec but that didn't work either. Am I missing something?
CLD (2014)Infinite,
Check out this link:
http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3209/en
Specifically this paragraph:
"When building an executable (EXE) or shared library (DLL) with the Application Builder, make sure to add the custom error file as a support file (under the Source Files tab). For an executable, the custom error file will be saved in the <executable destination directory>\user.lib\errors directory. For a shared library, the custom error file will be saved in the National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\<version>\Errors directory. When distributing a shared library, make sure to install the custom error file in this directory."

I have recently restored everything on my iMac after getting a new hard drive. When i try to use Elements, i get the following error code ERROR 150:30. Any ideas?
Did you use migration assistant to copy over programs, documents, and settings? You can't do that with PSE. Elements is not a tidy package in accordance with the apple developer guidelines. The installer strews stuff all of your hard drive in place the migration assistant isn't programmed to look and you can never hope to find all h the bits. You must always install PSE from scratch on a new machine. By attempting to copy it you have made a lot of trouble for yourself.
You will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and then you can go around and manually remove what you can reach. Look in applications, your hard drive>library>application support>adobe, your username>library>preferences. In the user library also delete any saved application states for PSE.
Then you can reinstall from scratch. -

Flex - Getting the HTTP error code raised from SAP
Hi all,
is there a way to catch the error code returned by a BSP page?
For example, I have a Flex HTTPService that points to a BSP page somedata.xml, which is populated after retrieving data in onInitialization handler.
In this handler, if something goes wrong, I set up the response error code like this:
try.
"Data Handler Class
catch zcx_some_exc into lx_some_exc.
error_string = lx_some_exc->get_text( ).
response->set_status( code = 500 reason = error_string ).
endtry.
In my faultHandler function in Flex, I need to display error_string in an Alert box:
private function HTTPFaultEventHandler(event:FaultEvent):void{
Alert.show(event.fault.faultString);
But in this way, it always display "HTTP Request error".
Anyone can help me?
Thanks a lot,
R.This is a known issue with flex HTTPService.
what you could do is
set the status to 200 for BSP response
and pass the error message in xml format.
on the flex side, in your result handler, check the xml to see whether its error xml or your normal result xml.
if its error xml, you can provide an alert and then stop processing.
