CC downloader is hanging.

I have not been able to download anything from CC for months. I have a mac with OS 10.8.4.

CartoonDaddy in what way is it hanging? Do you receive a specific error message?

Finally got it working, I had to delete two solitary files in an iTunes folder.
C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes\SC Info
Delete the only two files that are in this folder. Please note that it is a hidden folder.
After they have been deleted, iTunes should work (it did for me)
This may not work if your iTunes.exe process (viewable with task manager) turns off after the license agreement. I solved that problem by updating quicktime.
iTunes 10.5.2 doesn't update quicktime like all the previous installers did.

When trying to download an attachment on Hotmail, the download just hangs.

I'm using Windows XP service pack 3 and Firefox 3.6.12. Whenever I try to download an attachment, the download just hangs (dialogue says "Starting..." or "Unknown time remaining" but nothing happens). If I try downloading on IE or by using Firefox on my Mac, it works fine. I've tried optimizing Firefox, and clearing the cookies and internet files.

This advice didn't help. I installed the "add-on" and I still have the same problem. Won't let me "open" files to view them. Can only "save" file.

NI-DAQmx 8.5 Installer (Download version) hangs asking for Disk 2

My configuration:LabVIEW 8.2.1, WindowsXP SP2
Using the downloaded version of NI-DAQ (NIDAQ850.exe). I'm trying to install NI-DAQmx 8.5 on a clean LabVIEW build machine. The installer hangs prompting me to insert CD disk 2. It states "The specfied folder does not contain the correct volume".
How is one supposed to complete the installation?
My downloaded HDD path:
C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI-DAQmx\8.5\NIDAQ850\
NI Application/Driver History:
Installed LabVIEW 8.2.1 without driver CD support

Hello,
I wanted to clarify that when the installer was hanging and asking you to insert CD disk 2. It was actually looking for a second folder title NIDAQ8502, which has document and product information.
This folder is downloaded to the above location when running the self extracting executable NIDAQ850.exe from the installer page link “NI-DAQmx8.5 (810 MB)”. Please check to see if the folder is in the appropriate location or if it was deleted.

Unable to download itunes 10.7, the download just hangs

I'm trying to connect my new iphone 5 to itunes but need to upgrade to 10.7....so I start the download and it gets most of the way through and then just hangs. I'm using Windows 7 on HP DV9000 and have tried numerous times....had this same problem installing itunes to begin with. We had to save the setup.exe to a USB after downloading from another PC and then run the installer on my laptop from the USB and it worked. How can I update to 107? If I try to download 10.7as in a new install will I lose all my music and playlists?

I'd try that again. Can you update with the installer file for the 10.7.0.21 version?

Firefox and PDF download problems -- hanging and failures

I am working in Windows XP and Firefox 12.0.
We post our multi-page newsletter to our website in PDF, and then use a list to send a link to access it. When attempting to download using Firefox, the document will download all or part of the first page, and then hang -- sometimes in perpetuity, and sometimes with infinitesimally slow progress.
It works just fine in Google Chrome.
I tried disabling all of my plug-ins, including Adobe Acrobat (9.5.1.283). I left them all disabled, but re-enabled Adobe. No joy.
I disabled Adobe and tried a straight-up download, then open with my local reader. No joy.
What is going on, and how can I fix it?
My Acrobat 9 Standard is 9.5.1 that I'm using to create the document in the first place.
What can I do to fix MY system to get it to download and, more importantly, what information can I give our members to use so that they can successfully download it?

I personally open PDFs in the stand-alone Adobe Reader rather than in the browser, but everyone has their own preference.
Have you experimented with Firefox's application tab settings?

In the search box on that tab, type pdf and pause for the list to be filtered. You should be able to toggle between viewing the PDF in the browser or launching it externally. I have mine set to "Always Ask."
Generally speaking, when you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
If you host the PDFs on a site you can't actually visit, access the View Cookies dialog from this page and change the host name at the top of the box to the correct host name to access the relevant cookies.
Then try downloading again. Does that help?

Photo Downloader APD hangs freezes in Photoshop Elements 9 when camera or iphone 4S selected

I can't get any new images downloaded off my devices. I usually do this with Photo Downloader in the Photoshop Elements 9 Organiser ... I go into Get Photos > from camera or card reader, then select the relevant device (iphone 4S or Canon 40D). As expected it asks to select a device, whcih I do, but then it gets stuck on "connecting to devlce, please wait". I first noticed this problem with my iphone 4S but have since not been able to download from camera either.
I am running Windows 7 with Photoshop Elements 9, using iphone 4S with latest version of software and latest itunes.
I have tried:

There seem to be threads relating to hanging when you try to change the location in downloader. That is not my problem. Camera raw 6.5 seemed to cause the problem in that case. Today I have just updated my elements software (it detected camera raw 6.5 required installation so I suppose I must have been running the previous version of camera raw). Hence camera raw 6.5 not the problem in this case? If it's relevant, a hard drive search detects camera raw.8bi 16 Sept 2011 19012kb in c:\programfiles\commonfiles\adobe\plugins\elements9 as well as camera raw.8BI with 8 Sept 2010 10179kb in c:\program files\adobe\adobe premiere elements 9\apd\photo downloader\plugins
This happened around the time I upgraded the iphone 4S software (friday 24 August 2012) to the latest version.

To check that the update installed correctly go to the Editor menu and click:
Help >> About Plug-in >> Camera Raw
You should see a pop up with the version number.
Press Esc to close.

CC app downloads still hangs at 42% - no solution found yet

Problem: download and installing CC apps from the Creative Cloud Desktop app does not complete but rather hangs at 42% with no possibility of stopping
There are a few articles out there suggesting potential solutions to this problem. I have tried ALL of them but nothing has worked so far. Chatted with Adobe support which only referred me to articles I had already tried. The only thing I have not tried is CC cleaner full uninstall of everything and reinstalling everything. If I was sure this would work then i'd be on it but I fear this will make the problem worse if I cannot install anything afterwards.
Also peculiar is that I have some CC2014 apps already installed that are not being recognized. I made sure the prefs language was set to English North America as I had read others had the same problem and found that solution. I'm not sure of the two issues are related, in any case, i'm paying for software I can't install which is not great.
Any help would be much appreciated, and if anyone has had the same experiences feel free to chime in.

Regarding the current stalled installation of Audition, there doesn't seem to be a log file for it. I retried again this morning, as expected it stalled at 42% (see image below), and when I look in the log directory there is no log associated with my Audition download. However I did encounter the same problem some weeks back when installing Bridge and there is a log file for that which I have included at the end of this post.

Imovie 9.0.8 app update downloads, then hangs

When I try to update my iMovie to 9.0.8, the file downloads (1.08GB) and just as the very last bit is downloaded, the download hangs. I don't know why or what is preventing the update from installing.

I am an IT professional, my home network logs in securely and the issue is not with the user logon, it is to do with the update of the software via app store.
Imovie software will not update via my wifes itunes account, nor via my itunes account. this was used to update to mountain lion. There are no other accounts available to try ? so why does itunes app state i need another account?

Streaming or download, videos hang up

About the time I upgraded to Flash 16, I started having MAJOR hang-ups with videos--like 3 hours to watch a 15-minute video. Doesn't matter what video or site. Have Win XP, PandaCloud antivirus, YouTube Downloader, was running Firefox 33 when this started. I've since reset and upgraded to Firefox 34, added SpyBot (I'd hoped it would discover some malware that Panda had missed, but the few files it found and removed didn't change anything), added DownThemAll!, to no effect whatsoever. When using DownThemAll!, consistently reports "size mismatch" and download fails.
Oh, yeah, and I'm observing excessive CPU usage whenever any kind of video is running/downloading. It took me over two weeks to download a six-pack of mp4's I'd purchased, and then only if I downloaded NOTHING else while it was downloading (which isn't easy for me, because I save a lot of webpages and jpgs).

Download the following by right clicking and selecting "Save target as":
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Save these to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN ANYTHING YET
Reboot your system
BEFORE running anything else, run the Uninstallers.
Go to: C/Windows/System32 and delete the Macromed folder.
Go to: C/Windows/SysWOW64 and deletew the Macromed folder.
Open your Registry Editor (Start>Run or press the Windows key + R, and then type "regedit" [minus the quotes] and click OK)
In the Registry Editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and delete the Macromedia folder
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software and delete the Macromedia folder there as well.
Close the Registry Editor and empty your Recycle Bin.
Once it finishes, run the Flash Player installer for ActiveX.
Afterward, download the Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer to update it too. (Note: the link is to a download page - there ISN'T an ActiveX full installer download I can post here. Also, it says 11, but it's 12)

Adobe products download then hang on "waiting to install"

Have downloaded the Adobe Application Manager - manually - which is working. Signed in with my creative cloud account, and tried to download Indesign and Photoshop (CS6). Both downloaded fine, but both are now hanging on the "waiting to install" and are not moving at all.
I am on a work network and using Windows XP.
Any help will be greatly appreciated - and if technical language could be kept to a minimum that would also be brill! - I'm no techy!!

Steve you will want to review your installation log files to determine why the installation may be failing. You can find details on how to review the installation log files at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.
Also what version of Windows XP are you using? Which service packs are currently installed?

Download mail hangs

I have four mail accounts, 3 download mail fine, the fourth just hangs. I can see it download under the mail activity bar. It might stop after saying incoming messages 3 out of 8, 1 out of 9 etc., but no messages are downloaded, and the incoming messages bar hangs. I have restarted mail, checked my settings reset permissions and am now stuck. As this is my main account this is a problem. I am using Mail through 10.5.3.

99% download, then hang

Greetings -
I'm trying to download the warehouse builder and it always hangs at 99% completion. I've tried DAP and GetRight, but neither handles the idiotic and obnoxious unPatriot Act-style questions nor proceeds to the download itself.
Any suggestions?

You didn't mention error 1935 in your original post; did you look at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-1935-install-acrobat-reader.html ?

Photoshop Elements 10 downloaded but hanging on 'extracting this may take a while' - what do I do?

Its been like this for ages, and as I'm new to Mac, I'm not sure where to begin looking for the download location.....

From your description it sounds like you have chosen a location to download, i.e. the Applications folder, which the Adobe Download Assistant does not have permission to download too. I would recommend canceling the download and trying again. This time please choose the default location of the User folder to download the install files too.

Downloading video hangs or crashes iPad.

I am trying to download video in edX course. After some time my iPad freezes, sometimes crashes or blocks itself not reacting to home button and switch off only after long press.
I have removed and installed again, did not solved issue. If I stop download system is stable.
