CC For Teams and Licenses

Assign the seat and have the user accept the invitation prior to launching CC Manager. Log out and log back in with the correct user name (e-mail) and password. This solved my issue of Creative Cloud asking for a serial number for installed apps on a user machine that was previously unassigned.

The purchase will be of permanent nature, you can not cancel it till the time, team CC yearly renewal time does not arrive.
It means this seat till be a part of the CC team till the end of the one year renewal for the Team CC which shall be Jan. 08, 2015.

    Hi,
thank you, it’s done! The Chat helped me! Now I cannot go into this forum anymore with my old password, but that’s not a big problem.
    Best wishes,

  • Creative Cloud for Teams and Single Apps

    Dear Adobe,
I am an IT manager with a company that had 29 licenses of CS6, we now have Creative Cloud for teams, which is great.
However, Part of my company (the accounts side of things) only need Adobe Acrobat.
Why... WHY?  Can't I have 30 single app licenses for these users under the same account?  I got a call from your offshore licensing group and the woman who I talked to didn't seem to understand what I need.
I need the ability to give the entire creative cloud to some of my users.
but for the rest, I need to be able to only roll out Acrobat...
    Thanks for the help

I am in the same situation. I do the design work for my clients they look at and markup PDF files. They have their own software. To add them to the team cost me $70.00 a month, 22 of them would cost a lot of money.
After setting up the first system Adobe took away file syncing the day after we had it setup. And team members were not able to see one another's files. Asking for a refund they transfer us to the special billing department for teams, then the line goes dead. I am guessing that my request for refunds is falling on deaf ears.
Our solution was to acquire our own Cloud hosting server $299.00 a year and $22,000 (there are cheaper) for the Cloud Server. We will have save the Adobe solution costs within the first year.

  • I got CC a year ago for teams and haven't used it.  Now I can't add myself even though I have renewed.

I didn't respond to my invitation to myself last year, (Didn't realise I had to) and no longer have the invitation apparently.  (I subscribed but didn't use CC).  Should I remove myself as user , and just re-send?

If you're subscription still active You must revoke the invitation and send it again .

  • How to license Acrobat Pro as a single product in Creative Cloud for teams.

We're just starting with Creative Cloud for teams and I have a question about purchasing it.
We seem to have the option to either add all the products or to license for a single product.
Since a lot of our users are only using Acrobat Pro we'd like to license only that, but when we add a single product license in our team Acrobat Pro is not in the list of applications.
    Any idea why?

    Hi,
No way to remove it yourself, you must contact the customer service and normally they will remove it without any problem .

  • CC for teams 'try' and install

I recently purchased CC for teams and on use of the application manager, the app only allows me to 'try' products as opposed to install them. Can you shed some light on this?

    Hi Charlie,
The Creative Cloud for Teams works on the basis of Invitations that you send. I would request you to kindly login to the Admin portal and then send the invitation to either your self or to the employee that needs to use the software. Doing the same would simply convert the Try into Download.

  • Disable access to the cloud storage feature for Creative Cloud for Teams?

Is it possible to disable access to Creative Cloud Files when using Creative Cloud software for Teams/Volume Licensing customers? We're considering moving to Creative Cloud subscriptsions instead of traditional licensing and the ability to turn this feature off would be the easiest way to comply with our company's security requirments.
    Thanks.

BrickyB, This is what the Creative Cloud FAQ says,
My organization wants to block access to certain services, such as storage and access to community features, available through Creative Cloud. Is this possible?
Yes, your IT administrators can block users from accessing the online services.  The online services and their URLs are listed here.
As an administrator, you will also be able to deploy Creative Cloud desktop applications independent of the cloud-based services using the Creative Cloud Packager. The Creative Cloud Packager is available through Creative Cloud for teams.
    Check this for more details.

  • CC for Teams: Mobile Apps?

About to get CC for teams licenses, and I am unclear on some things.  If you have CC for Teams and the license is associated with a particular computer, will the user be able to access and use the new IOS apps?  If so, how will that work?
(If not, that will be bad.)

    Hi Siggi,
As i can check from your account details, your subscription is Active and you should be able to use the CC apps. They should not be in Trial mode.
    Check if this helps. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html

  • Resolution of CC for Teams - Education issue regarding second install for student interns.

    Hi,
I posted a question last week regarding using our second available install for our student interns. I did receive an initial reply but did not receive one for the follow up clarification I posted. Since I need a definitive answer, I am submitting on a new thread. Is there another avenue for me to get an answer? Below please find the link to the original post and the thread excerpted. My response to Kartikay's answer is below. Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi,
I am in charge of administering our recently purchased 10 seat CC for Teams-Education License. Can we use our second install per license on another work station shared by our student interns? I read through the general and CC EULAs as well as going through the forums and did not find a definitive answer that I can show my supervisor. Thanks in advance for the answer!
    Hi KimonRethis,
Thank you for reahcing out to us for this query .
As per the Eula, one seat is assigned to one user only but that one user can have the products installed on upto two of Machines that belongs to him . So in our case , since you are installing the product on a machine that does not belong to the original user , you will be violating the terms of EULA .
Please do let us know if you have any further query or not .
    Cheers,
    Kartikay Sharma
    Hi Kartikay!
Thanks for your timely reply. In our case however the machines belong to the department, not the individual user, so would not fair use include install on the department's machines? I am certainly not trying to over parse your response or find a way around the EULA-since money is a large issue for a state institution (California State University, Northridge-I'm in the Marketing Department), I have to do my due diligence to make sure we are being as fiscally responsible as possible and it does seem to me that looked at from the perspective of departmental ownership, the install on a second workstation should be allowed. Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hi,
    Reset the hosts file:

    Save and close the file.
    Mac OS
Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

  • Creative Cloud for Teams Invitation Not Received

I invited a team member to use Creative Cloud for teams and the Adobe site indicates the invitation was sent but the user never received it.  I deleted that account and used an email I have access to, and I never received it.  How long does it take to send the invitation?

Apparently Adobe has problems sending to different email domains.  The target user has to add Adobe as a contact.   (We're not just talking about checking spam folders either.))
    See Adobe's link:
    Didn't receive expected Adobe email
