CC gives me new apps but no updates to my installed CS6, why?

I have CS6 installed, updated to CC almost one month ago- when I try to download the promised PS CC I am told no update req'd 'up to date'.
Same for all of my CS6 apps....I only care about PS, I don't see extended or CC. Why is this?

Well by joining now you will still be given access to the CS6 software as long as your subscription is active. This could be useful if you use third-party plug-ins which may not be updated to the CC version.

Starting with CS6, select versions of each of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Put the app in the Trash and try to download it again. It should give you the up-to-date version. If it works, then you can empty the Trash.

All content and data is forever associated with the Apple ID you used to download it. You should have reset the password for the original I'd.

Hi Kanishk,
Those apps are forever tied to the Apple ID they were purchased under. You can either delete them and re-purchase them, or you can go to Manage your Apple ID and reset the password on the old Apple ID so you can use it to update your apps: Apple - My Apple ID
If you decide to continue to use them under the old ID password, I would suggest that when you reset that password, you change it to be the same password as the one you are currently using. That way when apps need to be updated you will only need to know one password and you won't have to be concerned with which Apple ID is displaying.

The designer is usually someone who just handles the user interface portion of the code. The developer would handle core functionality. I assumed you were the developer and the designer was the designer. You are the client and your "designer" is the developer.
Ideally, you should create a business account so that you can add someone to your team. That is the way it is supposed to work. Otherwise, you will have to ask for the final source code so that you can build and submit the app yourself. You should always have the source code regardless. You should always perform the submission under your own account too. Otherwise, it is the developer's app, not yours.
Sharing accounts is against the Apple Developer agreement anyway. The App Store Gold Rush is over. Now it is mostly zombie apps and competing fraudsters. You don't want to give someone access to your iTunes account. You really don't want to give someone access to your bank account either.
The best solution would be to convert your account to a business account. You may be able to have the developer submit the app and then transfer it to you.

Then you will need the password for the old account in order to update the app.
apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase the app.

I just realized that I wrote that I installed from app store originally, but I must correct that statement. I never paid for the app so it must have come preinstalled on my 2011 iMac. I was confused since the update is through the store so I assumed I downloaded it. Sorry for any miscommunication.
So to be clear, even though I have never remotely administered / accessed my computer and I no longer have ARD on my computer, it is normal to have the client update appear in my App Store. Is that correct?

Thank you! I did change my Apple ID in february. But as I recall it I downloaded the app later than that, and in the Info in iTunes (on the Mac) it mentions my new Apple ID. I also bought it in Spain, and now I'm in Denmark. But none of the other apps I bought at the same time have had those problems. And do you have any solution to solve the problem? I tried to login with my old Apple ID, but for some reason the password won't work. It even told me that my birthday is wrong when I tried to renew the password? There may be a solution but I doubt that the trouble will be worth the dollar that you'll gain.
