CC keeps saying I have been signed out

I have an imac with OS 10.9.1 I need to update creative Suite from 6 to CC on my desktop computer as I updated it on my laptop some weeks ago. Creative Cloud will not let me sign in. It asked me to sign in, but every time I did it came up with 'You've been signed out'. I went to the web site and redownloaded creative cloud. When it was set up it did exactly the same as before. This time I went through the process of putting in a new password. It still does the same thing -  'You've been signed out'.

Hi winxem,
Please refer the thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5878359.

    Hi,
Please follow the below steps to remove the error message of "You have been signed out".
1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
2: Open a Finder window, select Go>Go to folder option, type in ~/Library and hit enter.
                             (Windows:  [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE)
3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
              5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the same location.
7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
The error message will be removed.

  • Every time i try to sign into creative cloud it says you have been signed out?

I just want to buy adobe photoshop.... in the last 2 hours my computer has been plagued with viruses and nearly destroyed as i couldnt access the internet and didnt know what to do. Now every time i try to download it it tells me to sign into creative cloud. Every time i type in my email and my password and click sign in it says you have now been signed out.... this is the most un userfriendly website i have ever seen and im not recomending it to anybody.... Somebody tell me why im being trolled by this damn thing... this has been seen by 25 people.. the website continues to do this. I never buying another adobe product again and im gonna make sure my friends dont either... good bye

CM_Martketing and MikeBanks are correct, but I think what is confusing some people is that they are mistaking their Mac HD for the user name. I kind of had to mash up 2 posts to get it right:
1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
2: Open Finder and navigate Macintosh HD/Users/[your user name]/Library (the library folder might be grayed out, just right click and select open)
3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
    5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the adobe folder.
7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
It worked perfectly! Thanks everyone, I've been trying to figure this out for a month!

  • I just bought the indesign app and I can't figure out how to download it. The screen for me to log in pops up, but when I log in it just says "you have been signed out".

    Hi,
Please check if this happens in a [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles new profile]. If the new profile is okay, you can later [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Recovering%20important%20data%20from%20an%20old%20profile?s=profile&r=1&e=sph&as=s copy the needed personal data] from the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in another location separate from its [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory files/folder]. A new profile would have the default Firefox settings ('''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Options%20window '''Options'''], and [http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config about:config] ), and usually would also be empty of any '''Extensions''' and themes ('''Appearance''') in Tools > Add-ons) and their settings. Also, a new profile would have no previous stored website data/settings etc., ('''Tools''' > [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Clear%20Recent%20History '''Clear Recent History''']).

  • How I fixed: You have been signed out problem in 2 minutes!

Very frustratingly I was having the same problem with Creative Cloud saying you have been signed out all the time, so I was reading through the forum and got some ideas, so this is what I did and finally I can get back to work and hopefully help some of you solve this problem too:
    1. Completely uninstall CC from your computer. Also remove the exe. file from the previous download in your downloads folder, just to be save.
    2. Download the Adobe cleaner tool.
    3. Use the Adobe cleaner tool and select on the questions to remove ALL files. Make sure you have backed up important docs or images before doing this.
    4. Restart your computer.
    5. Download Adobe CC again.
    6. Accept terms and conditions.
    7. Sign in and whoala - Happiness!!
Hope this helps some of you too.
    Adel

Again, the "you've been signed out" strikes again!
This is becoming very-very-very annoying, Adobe. I am starting to think about you with very-very-very bad words.
As earlier this year, I have used the Adobe Cleaner Tool, got everything wiped, after that, cleaned my computer... Last time, I have also reinstalled the entire system. Clean Windows. New and updated drivers. This have happend last week. Everything worked great.
Today, the Creative Cloud it is once again a troll.
I am convinced that this tool, as good and professional can be, doesn't deserve that much attention. I will not continue to use payed Adobe products. I know that it is not nice to do that, but when such a big company as Adobe consider that a minor bug as this one can be resolved by users by work-arrounds, repetedly and without any sence, and paying for that also, I start consider Adobe a scam company.
    So, P-H-A-C-K-Y-O-U, Adobe!
