CC keeps showing up a trial version
Hi all.
i am a cc subsriber and have download the new updates for lightroom cc but everytime i open up either photoshop or lightroom i am getting a countdown of a trial version.
i have tried logging out and back in
giving more information e.g. address telephone number
resetting to english international language
none of these has been successful
please help as I'm running out of days, will i lose the apps once the trial expires or will they revert to the norm
close you cc desktop app.
rename the files in your slcache and slstore folders
(Configuration error | CC, CS)
open your cc desktop app and sign out and then back in, Sign in, Sign out | Creative Cloud desktop app
open lr.
if that fails, uninstall your lightroom.
using the cc desktop app to install lightroom.

Unfortunately, the solution provided on http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/trial--1-launch.html does not work in my case. This is because the deactivation option under Help > Deactivate is greyed out. Any attempt to (re-)license the product using my CS6 serial number results in the notification that this serial number is 'invalid' (for which there is no reason).
I am running CS6 under Windows 8 and the problem seems to coincide with the latest update of the Creative Cloud panel that controls the updates tot the CS6 applications.
Please react, not only if you have other suggestions, but also if you are experiencing the same problem. -
Why do video clips in purchased v12 still show "created with trial version"
I'm new to Premiere so bear with me. I trialled elements v12, liked it and purchased a download. When I import clips they still show "created with trial version". I removed all traces I could find of the trial version before installing the new one so I'm baffled.
Can someone please enlighten me?

Why does CC keeps asking for login? Keeps showing up as trial.
Since about a week ago, when I launch any Adobe CC it keeps asking me to login. Afer I login, it says that it's a trial version until it syncs up with my account with a "registration" button. I have to do this every time I launch any Adobe CC product.
What gives?iTunes will ask you to enter your password when buying songs for each browsing "session". This wouldn't explain why you are being asked to enter it every 3 minutes though.
I would suggest logging out of your Apple ID on iTunes and logging back in. Also, you may verify that your computer is "Authorized" for use with your iTunes content.
To do this on a Mac, go to the "Store" tab at the top of the screen and click "Authorize this Computer" -

If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

I hate to tell you this... they hacked your phone. ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. It can't be legitimately unlocked at a 'shop'.
First, try restoring it in DFU mode and see if it will at least activate with the original carrier it was locked to. If it will, contact that carrier and find out what their unlocking policy is and what you need to do to qualify.
If it does not work after a DFU mode restore, recycle it responsibly and buy a phone that works. it's hosed. -
I paid in full for one year for lr and ps. Both apps show as a trial version and ps is now expired. How do I get the full use of the programs I paid for?

Please check if the 2 license are for CC team or CC individual, if it is for Team then you need to assign seat by sending the invite from the admin console & the user has to accept the invite.

So a couple of weeks ago I decided to subscribe to Creative Cloud. Payment was made, and I could download the software that is included in that deal, one of which is Photoshop CC. Now upon starting it for the first time, it asked me if I wanted to continue as a trial version, or if I wanted to buy the license. I already paid for it, so this question seemed strange to me. I checked if I still had to log in with my adobe account, but I already was logged in. I tried logging out & in, maybe that would fix it but no. Also, I can't find any activation key anywhere, not in the e-mail that confirmed my subscription, nowhere.
I have been working since then, and since photoshop CC trial version will expire within a couple of days, I had to make time to try and fix it now. Sadly I haven't been able to find any solution, and finding any direct support on the adobe help department has been a nightmare. I really hope someone here is able to help me fix this.
To summarize:
- I've got a subscription to Creative Cloud (the one with photoshop, that costs 12,29 per month in euro's, I'm from the Netherlands)
- Photoshop CC installed, keeps asking if I want to keep on using the trial version, or get a license.
- Upon making the choice to get a license, it just asks for an activation key, which I do not have
- Logging in & out with my adobe account in Photoshop CC itself does not fix the problem.Thanks for your reply. I was able to find help through a tech support chat session and the person helped me edit my /etc/hosts file and it solved the problem.
For anyone else experiencing this issue (Mac OS X):
Close all other programs and sign out from the Adobe Desktop App
From the Finder, Go > Go to Folder...
Type /etc and hit enter
Find "hosts" file (only "hosts", there were similar files such as hosts.config but only open the one that says "hosts"
Open the file, and replace the entire content with ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface#
Close the file, sign back into the Adobe Desktop App

Why is Adobe Muse 2014 reverting to the trial version?
I loaded up Muse this morning and it told me there was an update, so I downloaded Adobe Muse 2014. When I try to load it, it goes into trial mode. If I say I want to licence it, it asks for a serial number. I don't remember having a serial for Muse, it just logs in with my Adobe ID. The old version still works fine, but the new one keeps bring up the trial version screen.
I've tried to chat with an Adobe rep twice but both times have been told it's a 'technical' issue and I will be transferred to the relevant department. That's when the chat goes dead. I just want some help getting Muse 2014 to work!Okay, I have this sorted now. These are the steps it needs, should it happen to anyone else.
1. Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
2. Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
3. Type the following.
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
4. Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
5. If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "ims" or "adobe," please delete those entries.
6. Press control+o to save the file
7. Press control+x to close the file
8. After the nano dialog closes, type the following in the Terminal window and hit the "Return" key
dscacheutil -flushcache -
I don't know what's happening, I removed the CS5.5 from my laptop, reinstalled the CS5.5 into my laptop, and for some unknown reason I keep getting this irratating trial version 30 days. What must I do to eliminate this trial version from my computer permanently?

Why is Ps and Dw now showing that I'm using a trial version?
After using Ps and Dw CS6 since the cloud was released these applications are now showing that I'm using the TRIAL VERSION and they expire in 4 days! Yes, my subscription is vaild. The next auto billing is not until June 10th so I'm current. Yes, I've rebooted my PC. Yes, I have a connection to the internet at DSL speed that is a dedicated connection. Yes, I am running a dual core Itel Processor with 6gb of ram and 1 tb of HD. No, I have not made any software changes or installations since it was last working at 2:24Pm this afternoon. No, I have not exceeded my license agreement. These programs are installed and activated only on my PC and my laptop. No, Adobe Application Manager does not show that I need an update to either program.
Is Adobe mad that I posted critical reviews concerning the Creative Cloud and this is my punishment? I'm sorry Adobe. I promise I'll be good and be quite if I can please have back the software and service I've paid for, I promise.
Seriously, I know I've seen simular questions like this asked before but did not follow the thread for the answer and looking through the forum discussion area I do not see a recent question or answer for this. Does anyone know why this happens and if Adobe has an answer, fix or work-a-round?@Venzg - Thanks I'll keep those steps in mind for next time. This moring everything is working fine. Sometime in the night the fairies must have come and fixed it or more likely a server re-booted somewhere in the vast internet. You know what I find odd though? Not that it happened, we live in an imperfect world and screws fall out, but that it showed trial versions.
Before I downloaded and installed the "Cloud" and Adobe Application Manager I deactivated and uninstalled all previous version of Adobe software including the TRAIL VERSIONS. That the TRAIL VERSIONS were displayed along with the seemingly correct number of days left on the trial tells me that an Adobe deactivation and uninstall is not complete. Persistant files exist after the uninstall and in my case this could lead to problems.
