CC kept asking for a serial number 'till the end of trial, and died.
It's already payed for and yet we don't acceess.
What should we do?

What version of the CC Manager app are you running on the computer that has CC installed? 
To be licensed you need to be logged into the CC Manager app on the computer you’re running PS-CC on and that login needs to be the one associated with the paid subscription.
Are you able to see that a subscription is active if you login to http://creative.adobe.com/ and check you’re My Account details using the little arrow next to the “head” icon at the upper-right?

    I had this problem. There are actually two boxes. The outside one with the photos and stuff and glued into it is another box containing the disks. That box has the serial number. Adobe was NO help with this as if no one else ever could not find it. I had to rip open the outer box.

    I've encountered almost the exact same issue. Sadly, this is the state of Adobe technical support these days. I spent countless hours chattting with support staff who are mostly ineffective, and then they condemned me to the forums. I've been using Adobe products since the mid to late 80s (pretty much since they've been in business) and it's a disappointment to see that we're left to own devices to troubleshoot these problems. If you have any insight on how to remedy the installation problem since you originally posted, please let me know.

    Why am I asked for a serial number to register Lightroom 5.7 when I purchased it as Creative Cloud?

    There is a non-CC LR and a CC-LR so maybe you installed the non-CC version which will ask for a serial number.
    The non-CC version is available on the Adobe Updates page:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates
    The CC version is available as an Install button in the CC Desktop app.
    Uninstall the LR 5.7 you have, then log out of the CC Desktop app, reboot, then open the CC Desktop app, and click the Install next to Lightroom.

    My employer purchased a Creative Cloud for teams account. I'm using my Adobe ID and trying to install the applications on my laptop at home. When the applications launch, they say I'm running a trail version. Then I'm given the option to license the software or continue the trial. When I click license this software, I sign in with my Adobe ID then it asks for a serial number. I don't have the serial number from my employer. Shouldn't it just be enough that I sign in with my registered Adobe ID and password?

    This is bad and I am sorry to hear that you are running into these issues.
    Let me connect with you, so right now, the current state is that you have installed copy of PSE 8 in trial on your windows 7 machine, and when you are trying to enter the serial number from your PSE 8 Box, it is saying the serial number to be invalid?
    It might sound pretty obvious, but please make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly and of PSE 8(in case you bought a PEPE box)?
    Have you tried the steps mentioned below by Barbara?
    If possible, you can send me the serial number through PRIVATE MESSAGE and I can check it on my end that whether the serial number is indeed invalid or that the issue is with your machine?

    If you have Lightroom 3 still installed, you can get it from there.
    If you don't and you have your box/disk, it should be on there.
    IF you don't have either of those,and you registered your software, you can log into your Adobe account and retrieve it there.

  • My CS 6 is asking for a serial number and I already entered it twice. Is it due to me installing Adobe CC?

    First off, my computer had to be wiped clean back in early January. All my programs was gone and that included my CS6 program. So I re-installed them. Then one day, I see this Adobe update and it had the Adobe Creative Cloud App. I think I did something stupid and I wanted to tryout not only the Lightroom version, but Photoshop CC as well. My CS6 already had a Photoshop on it. I thought it would be a separated (you know, a separated program on one side and the other one on one side) and not interfere with my CS6 program. Now it's asking for a serial number and whenever I input my serial number (oh by the way, I got CS6 through my school by online; so I got a non disc version) it saying my serial number experied. So here's my questions:
    1. If I remove the Adobe CC app off my computer, would the cc versions of my CS6 programs go away?
    2. How many time can you installed the non disc version of CS6?
    3. Cont. from the first question; If I re install CS6 and uninstalled the CC app would that help?
    I know I sound almost computer illiterate, but I need help with this issues. I am college student, and I can't afford one CS6 program, rather alone the whole CS6 and I really need that suite in order to complete my assignments while at home. What do I do?
