CC still thinks deleted apps are on my computer

Creative cloud thinks Audition and Premier are on my computer; however, I deleted them long ago. Now I need to use Audition but can't. I'm on OSX Mavericks. Thanks!

  • CC thinks all apps are up-to-date

    Hi There,
I've had 3 support calls with Adobe where we removed CC then reinstalled, logged in using a different CC account, and also tried a different user account on the mac. But in the end we ended up with the same issues we started with:
Either CC thinks no apps are installed or...
CC thinks the apps are up-to-date
The only thing I can think of is the way these apps were installed - becauase we have 4 macs, we downloaded the CC packager, which downloaded and made an installer. Then we used the installer to install the apps.
The apps all run fine and if we signout, CC asks us to sign in when we try to launch an app - so the issues don't seem to be lincensing or account related.
This occurs accross 4 macs running:
    - 10.7 x1 mac
    - 10.8 x2 macs
    - 10.9 x1 mac
So it doesn't seem like an OS issue either - does anyone know how to fix this?
After several weeks of Avid and Protools licensing issues this year, we're kinda tired of managing this stuff so sorry if we're a bit short!
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
    Cheers
    Ben

You probably created an invalid signature in the installation package. Well, whatever. You can always run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool at the cost of the apps appearing not installed at all, defeating the purpose of your customized package...

  • My iphone 4 still thinks my headphones are connected

my iphone 4 still thinks my headphones are still connected, ive tried blowing it out and sucking on the jack nand taking it out and putting it back in many time and it still wont work, any ideas?

Have you tried shutting down the phone completely? Restarting it may clear some software setting to allow the headphone jack to realize there's nothing attached.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

What you need to do is connect your phone to iTunes but do not click sync.  Go to File at the top and click transfer purchases from phone, that'll put all your apps into iTunes.  When it's done transferring, locate your phone on the sidebar and click it.  Then find the apps option above the picture of your iphone, you can select which apps you want or don't want on your phone.  After selecting your apps then you can sync.  Once you do this you should never have your problem anymore.

  • Deleted apps are shown in AppStore

I just updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7. The thing that annoys me is the apps that deleted long time ago are appearing in the AppStore icon (with a cloud kinda icon to be downloaded again). I don't want these apps to be shown up there and is there any ways to delete it? Help me on that guys. It really annoys me and I don't want others to figure out what apps that I used to have and what I have deleted recently.

I found these directions (to permanently hide past purchases/downloads in the app store/itunes history):
    1. Upgrade your version of iTunes to the newest version.  (idk if this really matters...I had to download itunes onto a new tablet anyway)
    2. Click on iTunes Store in the lefthand column of iTunes and log in to your account.
    3. Find "Purchased" in the Quick Links menu on the right hand side of the Store home page. Click on it.
    4. You should see a list of your downloaded apps on the screen. Mouse over any app that you wish to delete. A small "x" in a round circle will appear in the top left corner of the app icon. Click the "x".
    5. A notification will pop up telling you that your purchased app will now be hidden and how you can un-hide it in the future. Click OK. The app will disappear from your purchase history in iTunes and all associated iOS devices instantly. Verify this on your iOS device by navigating to your purchase history in the App Store.
I just tried this, and it worked.  I was able to hide a few past downloads that are no longer used or wanted.
Now that Apple got a huge court settlement, they should use that money to create a way for us to permanently delete past purchases/downloads.

    And...
    The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart..  Reset..  Restore from Backup..  Restore as New...
Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
    Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
    Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
    Turn the Phone On...
If that does not help... See Here:

  • HT4972 Help I upgraded my iPad my apps are on my computer but I don't see restore  How can I get my apps back

Can anyone help? I upgraded my iPad to 5.1 sent my apps to iTunes I see the apps but can restore them I don't see restore anywhere HELP thanks to all who canhelp

If you were upgrading from below 5 to 5.1.1, you likely disconnected the iPad from your computer and iTunes before the full upgrade completed. It's actually a lengthy process to rebuild your app library on the cloud and then replicate them fully on your iPad.
So, connect your iPad to your computer and in iTunes, when your iPad is found on the left side of the iTunes screen, click your iPad's name once to open it in iTunes.  Then, click on Apps and choose the apps (either all Apps or just those you want with a check mark).  Click apply on the lower right hand side of the iTunes screen then Sync to build a backup.

  • I want to make a new Apple account separate from my parent's account, will I be able to keep my previously purchased apps from their account if the files are on my computer?

The title says it all. I use my parent's account for my iTunes on my laptop currently, and I would like to make my own Apple account. My question is if I will still be able to use the applications and games that I downloaded [purchased] while using this computer. All of the files for the apps are on this computer, I'm just not sure if I will be able to put them on my iPod [2G] once I make the account.
    Thanks in advance

You can't delete an account, only iTunes Support can potentially do so, but you would lose all of the account's purchases if they do so - all downloads are tied to the account that downloaded them, they cannot be transferred to another account.
If you do create a new account then there are instructions on this page of how to do so without giving credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method.

  • Mac App Store won't allow re-downloading of deleted apps

I am experiencing very glitchy behaviour with the Mac App Store.  The store can't tell when individual apps are deleted, and therefore won't allow re-download.  This has been going on for a while - when I click on the Purchases tab all Apps are still listed as Installed and the button is greyed out - I can't click to re-download.  At the same time, an app that I previously did download and later removed called Cobook won't delete from the computer - after a few minutes to an hour it will re-appear in my Applications folder.
I have done a clean re-install of Mountain Lion trying to fix this problem, however the same problem exists even after a re-install - Apps that had been deleted prior to the clean install are still greyed out in the Purchases tab, and can't be re-downloaded.  The only way that Apps can be re-installed is to use Time Machine backup.  I am concerned that this means that updates also aren't working, since the App Store doesn't seem to know what Apps are on my computer and which ones aren't.
Yes I am using the correct Apple ID assocaited with the purchases.  My purchase history shows up just fine in the Purchases tab, its just that they are stuck showing that they are currently installed, even the ones that aren't.
    Mountain Lion 10.8.2, 21.5" iMac (mid-2011).

The problem is possibly worse than I expected.  Since the clean re-install, now any App purchased and downloaded via App Store won't appear in the Purchases tab.  So in other words, although the download seems to work correctly, and the app works, the App Store seems to lose all track of it.  Which is a problem for paid apps.

  • Deleted apps appear inside update

Upon iOS 4.3.3 , once deleted apps continuous to appear inside the "purchased" section inside Updates, those deleted apps are coming from my iPhone 4 as well as other devices that utilizing the same iTunes. How to get rid of them permanently?

Deleting them doesn't mean you didn't purchase them. Look on the bright side - if you change your mind, you can get them back.
    Thanks for that.
(Why do so many people fear others finding out what apps they have downloaded?  I suppose I shouldn't ask.)
I just don't know why I'm so afraid of that, but I believe that those people similar to you wouldn't fear about that. I suppose I shouldn't talk.

  • Attempting to delete apps on Touch crashes iPod (2.01)

I was hoping this problem would vanish with 2.01.
-- Removing apps from Touch using iTunes works, but *holding the icon until they jiggle and then deleting directly on the Touch crashes the iPod.*
I've tried deleting just 1 app and several at a time with the same results. As soon as i try to switch to the Settings panel i get a crashes white screen. If I don't go to settings and just power off to save my changes the Touch hangs on startup and I have to hold the Sleep button to cold boot, after which all the deleted apps are back.
*Does this actually work for anyone else?*
    *Anyone else have this problem?*

    1)  Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete App
    2)  Touch the app and hold your finger down until all the apps start to jiggle. You will see a circled "x" in the upper left corner. Tap it to delete an app. When done press the Home button.
You cannot delete any pre-installed iOS app.
If there is No 'X' on any apps you have Downloaded... then check in Restrictions...

  • I deleted all Apps on iPad as they were associated with an out of date Apple ID and I could not update them, but the "App Store" logo still shows that there are 2 to be updated and when I go there I cannot delete. Please assist. Thanks.

I deleted all Apps on iPad as they were associated with an out of date Apple ID (which I have forgotten the password) and I could not update them, but the "App Store" logo still shows that there are 2 to be updated and when I go there I cannot delete. Please assist. Thanks.

Why don't you explain what happens when you try to delete these two apps that are showing that they need updates. You can only delete them if they are actually installEd on the iPad. Are they on the device?
