CC update crashes PC and Kuler2014 not working
CC app said it needed updating...I did so but PC could not recover...windows explorer died....PC restart recovered and all seems OK so far.
PsCC exchange needed an update; did so, restarted and it asked for another update...after 3 restarts it seems to be working.
Kuler 2014 is available from Adobe add-ons; I got it, says it is activated; never shows up in CC ext. mgr. nor in CC2014, even after several restarts. A purchased plugin did similar but 2 days later it showed up OK and works OK....wtf?
Are all of you having similar troubles? or is it my PC system? Everything else runs OK...just many issues with CC and CC2014. Glad I still have CS6 running OK. CC2014 runs but add-ons and plugins virtually all not working well save for a couple that have been updated from CC. CC generally runs OK.
Are you satisfied with CC implementations? Seems the older, slower, version 'purchases' were a better solution overall....even with occasional patches.

Spoke with HP Australia this morning. Was asked tobe patient as they were still working on releasing drivers to supprt Windows 10. Maybe in a day or so more drivers will be available on the HP web site to suit, including the necessary touch screen / rotation drivers etc.

Are you trying to do this from the phone, or via iTunes? If it is not working on the phone, try a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Try the update again. You might also want to connect the device to the computer and iTunes and try to update from there.

I updated my 3gs and its not working
I recently just got a new IPhone 3Gs and I liked it it started our great and worked good. Then the new update came our so I updated it and now it wont activate my phone. I dont know what to do? It keeps saying " Your IPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting to iTunes or contact Apple" WHAT DO I DO?? CAn someone please help me
You are connecting to iTunes right?
Make sure you have the most current version of iTunes. (http://www.apple.com/itunes).
You have to reach the server in order to complete activation. If you can't do it at home you will have to take the phone to AT&T or Verizon and see if their computers can reach the server. -
IOS 5 update fail - apps and Safari not working
i completed the iOS 5 update and now none of my apps work. Also, Safari is locked up. Any ideas of what I need to do?
Any thoughts? Any internet based program besides email cannot connect.

FireFox auto updated to 6.0 this weekend and has not worked properly since. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Made sure all windows componets were up to date and still no joy. Any idea? Windows 7, 64 bit, normal configfuration. It is extreamly slow and never finishes loading ANY page.
I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -
My iPad will not update to 5 at all. I don't even have the option of software update in settings. I've tried to update over iTunes and it doest work there either.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

while updating my ipad to new software through itunes it got stuck and does not work anymore - it just displays the screen with symbols of itunes and the cable to connect to it - help - what should i do?
Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

I backed up my Iphone to itunes so i can do the new Update to IOs 7 and so now that i updated it i want to backup and restore and its not working, Please help!
An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. Drag and Drop not working since last software update

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2. -
What is up with this error message after updating saying our cables are not reliable?
Thank you for this suggestion, but the message continues to display every couple of minutes. (e.g. "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone.)
Not only is it annoying and concerning...this is draining my battery, as the iPhone keeps waking up to display the message over and over. Like "MartinLegodi" above, I also have no cable or accessory plugged in and only use Apple cable and products when I do.
It's a disconcerting mystery. -
