CC Updater Problem - Photoshop

Photoshop CC won't update!
I'm running it on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.
I tried uninstalling Photoshop CC, uninstalling Photoshop CS4, and then reinstalling Photoshop CC.
The error message is this:
Update Failed
The download appears corrupted. Please try to download again. (U43M1D204).
The same problem was happening with Lightroom, but uninstalling and reinstalling worked for that app.
How can I fix this?

First click on the below link and open Photoshop Elements download page , just simply keep it open  :

Then click on below link and download Photoshop CC 2014 and Adobe Camera Raw 9 update:

  • Major Problem updating to Photoshop 2014 from Photoshop CC and Opening Lightroom

    windows 7 64 bit
Updated from Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 to Photoshop 2014 and Lightroom 5.5.  Now Cannot install and run Extension manager and extentions in Photoshop 2014 but continue to work in Photoshop CC.  Lightroom 5.5 refuses to open but Lightroom 4.2 continues to function sort of.
Takes two double clicks to open Photoshop CC!
Been on to Adobe support team twice.  Uninstalled Photoshop 2014 and Lightroom.  Used CC app to update to Photoshop 2014 but now exactly the same problems exist as before
    Help please!

Roger, it seems you are facing 2 separate issues, one with not being able to launch Lr 5.5 and other with not being able work with extensions in PS CC 2014.
So, here is what i would suggest:
For the Lightroom launch issue, follow the solutions mentioned under Lightroom does not launch or get error: "Develop module is disabled" after 5.5 update
And for the Extensions not available in PS CC 2014, check this out. Extensions and Extension Manager not available in Photoshop CC 2014
Also, check this for more details. http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2014/04/photoshop-spring-cleaning.html
    Hope that Helps.
    Cheers!

  • Problem with update of Photoshop CC (2014) and Bridge.

Any time I restart my Mac, Creative Cloud asks me to download the last update of Photoshop CC (2014) and Bridge, what can I do to resolve it? It is not a big problem but I don't like it!

sign out and then back in to your cc desktop.
if that fails, try solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

I'm trying to update my Photoshop CS5, but continue to receive the same problem every time. The application manager update dialogue box simply states "some updates failed to install." There's no specific error code, but a link to contact support for further assistance. It doesn't take me to customer support, but does take me to a screen which states. "Error "This serial number is not for a qualifying product." I've checked my account and the product serial number is associated with my account., so I don't see any problem.  I have not been able to find a resolution to this problem, so I hope that someone can point me in the right direction.  Thank you!

  • Photoshop CS 5 update problem

    [edited by host]

Dear Jeff, today I had the time to  try again - no success. The Troubleshoot install issues are only belonging to Cloud - Versins, but I have the following Version:
    Adobe Photoshop Version: 12.0.3 (12.0.3x20101211 [20101211.r.1222 2010/12/11:02:00:00 cutoff; r branch]) x64
    Betriebssystem: Windows 7 64-Bit
    Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1
Systemarchitektur: Intel CPU-Familie:6, Modell:15, Stepping:11mit MMX, SSE (ganze Zahl), SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3
For the error message look here; I got no further information, there is no more support for my program ( it is only 4 years old ! ) what else can I do to get new Nikon Objective Profiles ?

  • Since installing the latest update of Photoshop CC two days ago, Auto Blend for focus stacking is selecting all pixels from the bottom layer instead of selecting the ones in best focus from each layer. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I installed the latest update of Photoshop CC two days ago on my Macbook Pro, and now when I try to do focus stacking by opening multiple photos and doing Auto Align and Auto Blend, the blend selects the entire bottom layer instead of selecting the in-focus areas from each layer. I even tried again on a series of images where this worked a week ago and the problem occurs. I have Photoshop on a Windows 8 machine and did not apply this latest update and it works fine. Has anyone else encountered this?

And since installing this same update, my Photoshop is crashing just after starting.
Ashutosh.Nigam suggested me in this forum to change the permissions to SLStore & SLCache Folder, but it did not work.
Ali from french Adobe support told me to delete my Settings files, but it was not enough.
A girl with no name from the same team told me to update my video card driver, but you know I run the latest Mac OS X version and everything is updated, mademoiselle.
Stephane sent me a link to a huge page of things to do :
    -  Troubleshoot account-specific fonts, but there wasn't any corrupted font
    - Delete account-specific Adobe cache files but... guess what...
    - Troubleshoot account-specific login items but... yes, that's it, I can see you understand me
    - Reset the access settings on the user account's Library folder... oh god, that was fun, I used the Terminal and sudo commands
I did all of these things because when I tried to open PhCC in an other admin session, it worked, so that was an incompatibility between my session and PhCC. But, but, but, when I tried again to lauch the app in the second session, it worked fine but refused to quit. Ha ha ha.
So you can try to delete your Settings files. I wish it'll work for you. If not you can try the long list above... or hope a better answer from the support.
I didn't change anything but Photoshop on my session and they ensure that the bug is due to my session and not to their update. Strange affair.
    Good luck,
    JLuc

  • Updating problem for Photoshop 7.0

For two weeks now, I have been unable to downoal routine updates. I get a window that says "Adobe online error" and "file could not be downloaded" and "An unknown internet error has occurred" And there is a long http://cgi... address. Please send me an Adobe tech support e-mail address to which I can mail the screen shot of the above and/or tell me what is happenning and how to fix it. Thanks!
    my e-mail: <Removed by Moderator>

What error do you receive when you try to apply the updates directly?  You mentioned it was not able to locate your current installation.  Do you have Photoshop 7.0 installed or have you already applied the update?
If you still have access to the installation media you may want to remove the current installation and reinstall.  You can find a list of the Windows updates for Photoshop 7 at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows.

  • After the latest update to Photoshop 2014, something went wrong and started spray-like black oil on canvas. I have deadline with cover. Can you help me please?

How do I undo whatever went wrong after installing the latest update to Photoshop 2014 and suddenly when I tried to paint or touch up my illustration (book cover I'd drawn and painted, then scanned in and continued painting, changing. It's mostly done but I needed to send it like yesterday!!) OR touch up a photograph, black-like oily smudge-like substance sprayed around the point of the brush. I tried to fix by resetting but really didn't know what to do and probably made it worse. However, the problem happened after I updated the Photoshop Creative Cloud 2014 on my desktop 8.1 Windows and after a Tech helped update the regular CC Photoshop on my laptop 2007, 64 bit Windows to 2014. He promised to call back after giving it time to install but didn't for whatever reason on Friday. That happened to go up to the same update I did on my Windows 8.1 Windows. I have this deadline and really stressed. COULD IT BE THE UPDATE OR BOTH. REGARDLESS, CAN SOME EXPERT HELP ME UNDO WHATEVER THE UPDATE AND/OR I DID? I'm a God-gifted artist but only started using Photoshop CC, then updated to 2014--which, again, I like even better--when I began my monthly membership January or February 2014, although I had paid version 2002 and updated to paid version 2004 (ownership, not paid subscription like now). I've learned so much, including transforming, moving, stretching, with layers--all in the painting area with my illustrations--a little touch ups with photography.  MY EMAIL IS: [email protected] I really appreciate any help. This needs to be resolved today, the latest tomorrow--I could call tomorrow, however. I was chatting with a Tech support but lost him about an hour or less back. I have the case number and name and gave him my contact number, but they won't be in until tomorrow. He's supposed to give info and escalate the case. I really need an answer--if possible, today. It may require going back to before installing the latest update. THANK YOU KINDLY. Glena Jessee-King

  • How to Update/install Photoshop CC version 14.2 (TRIAL)

    Hi there,
I was really glad to see this new feature in Photoshop CC that exports PSD's to adobe reflow, So I decided to try out this trial to see if I like it and if it works good. I have been a very happy customer and adob product fan for years now.
So downloaded Adobe CC. by using the Creative Cloud app. and I find out I have this version of Adobe:
    Adobe Photoshop Version: 14.0 (14.0 20130423.r.221 2013/04/23:23:00:00) x32
    Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
And I read, if you want to be able to generate an export to Reflow, you need to update to 14.2, so basicly I am 2 versions behind.
    1. Updating in the Creative Cloud isnt possible as it states V. Up to date.
    2. Searching for a update in Photoshop CC gives no results.
    3. Some on the forum suggested to use the CC cleaner, deinstall the program and Creative Cloud and reinstall. This gave me the exact same version.
    4. Contacted Customer Service Chat, they are not whilling to help on a trial account, and suggested I should purchase the product before they help you (how stupid is this, telling me to buy a product that doesnt seem to work in trial periode.
    5. I wanted to talk to somone so I decided to call Customer Service. and to make a long story short,  they came up with the same solution. As they dont know the right answer, they told me to go to the forums for a solution or buy the product AND then they will help me.
    6. More people have this issue on this forum, some problems are solved some are not. suggested solutions didnt work for me do.
On the website, adobe  states clearly: we want everyone to have a chance to try out this new product, if you have a version 14.0 and update it to 14.2 your trial periode will even restart back to 30 day's.
Ok well i would love to try out all these new features, but now I am running out of options. So  I sincerely hope that someonee can help me and provide me with a better solution then " buying this product"
    Kind regards

Not having had any problems with the Creative Cloud application getting the updates myself (but I'm actually subscribed), I can't advise you directly from personal experience, though I have always thought that the Creative Cloud application would update you to the latest.
Have you tried closing and re-opening the Creative Cloud application, then checking again?
I believe ProDesignTools has made the individual updates available online.  You could run the 14.2 update that way (no need to run the ones in between).

I can not install new update in Photoshop CC, does any one know, how I can install the new update?
Photoshop CC show me, if I look on "Help" -> Update, there is no update. But my actual license is very old....
I tried it, to do it manual. But there is also some problem.

totally agree.  at this point i could care less if "apple" supports it.  i'm not renting my ipod touch, it's mine.  i paid for it.  and i'm not asking to do anything illegal with it, all i want is to get rid of this POS ios6 and get back to being able to use my ipod touch the way it was before...working.

  • Date preferences problem - Photoshop CS2 and OS X 10.4.6

I am running Photoshop CS2 9.0.1 on two Mac G5s (Mac OS X 10.4.6) and Photoshop CS 8.0 on a Mac G4 (Mac OS X 10.4.6) but now have a problem with the correct display of dates in File Info on the pair of G5s running CS2 9.0.1.
However I configure the date display preferences in International in System Preferences (UK prefs - DD/MM/YYYY) File Info will now only display the date as 'short', i.e. 1/6/06, for example. Naturally this presents a major problem with all my pre-2000 dates. By contrast, with exactly identical System Preferences on the G4 with Photoshop CS, the dates display correctly, i.e. 01/06/2006 or 06/06/1944. One of the G5s also has Photoshop CS 8.0 and also exhibits the same problem.
Is this an OS X 10.4.6 update problem, as I believe, or a combination of flaws between Apple and Adobe? Is there a cure? With a vast number of images in a picture library it is essential to have accurate, pre-2000, dates embedded in the File Info metadata. Can anyone offer an answer, a solution or a workaround?

After much trial and error I eventually discovered a fix. When customizing the Date Format Preferences (UK) (in System Preferences/International) select 'Short' and then drag the day of the week from the list below as the first item in the displayed date; i.e. Thursday 08/06/2006
Then modify the DD, MM and YYYY by highlighting the numbers and selecting the full 2 or 4 number digit from the drop-down menus. This is something that seemed to be fine in 10.4.5 but has changed in 10.4.6!
