CC updates always mess up my lightroom and other programs!!!

This is my third time that CC update mess up my Lightroom!!!
I purchased Lightroom 5 several month ago. For 3 times, after the major updates, lightroom 5 require to re-purchased and messed up everything. Other apps too. I deleted them already.
From CC update, it still said that I need to buy lightroom or other apps.
god damn it why?

Lightroom has no activation check so you don't need to do anything to your computer. Your old copy of Photoshop must be deactivated / uninstalled if you haven't already done so.

How to close Internet Explorer and other programs running on Windows?

In order for Flash Player to be installed or updated, any programs that use Flash Player must be closed. This includes Internet Explorer or other browsers, instant messengers, Skype, etc.
These programs may be running in the background, not as visible windows, but need to be closed anyway.
To close such programs use the Windows Task Manager. To start Task Manager, take any of the following actions:
Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager.
Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
Right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
Once the Task Manager is running, select the Processes tab. On older Windows version you may need to click on the Process Name or Image Name header to sort the process names.
Now right-click on every process that the Flash Player installer needs to close (e.g. iexplore.exe), then select End Process.

Well, I figured itout.
Apparently the Numbers (and Pages) app downloads was stopped and \never re\started.. possibly because of something I did, like turn off my machine during them.
I went to Apple > App Store > Purchases. I discovered all three iWorks apps were listed but showed "Resume" as the status button at the right. I clicked on each to get them started again... and they eventually automatically became "Installed".
They work, now!

What does that mean? I suggested you have a problem with your ISP and/or internet service. Have you checked those out?

Mail (and other programs) crash without trace

Hey all,
Really curious thing started happening to me a couple days ago - Mail, Safari, and other programs will just crash without warning - and without a dialog box of any sort. Like they were never launched - and it happens on things like when I add attachments, or go to some webpages that I used to go to without problem.
Any Ideas?

There are a few things to try here.
1. Do a Hard reset of the phone, hold the Home and sleep/wake button down until you get a apple logo on the screen. If issue continues go to next step.
2. Reset network settings.. Settings>General>Reset> Reset Network settings (This will power cycle the phone)
Does the issue continue after both of these steps?

Update Macto Yosemite before downloading Lightroom and Photoshop?

It should be added that only Macs and Quadros need the CUDA driver. That is not required for use with GeForce cards on Windows.

Mac system updates wipe all my saved passwords and other data

Every time my macbook performs a system update (which all you mac users know is weekly or bi-weekly) all of my passwords are wiped, as well as any address, phone number, and other data for filling in fields.
Is this supposed to happen? Is there a way to avoid it?
I only just started using Firefox a month ago when the Flock programmers turned stooges, so if I can't avoid this it's not too late for me to switch to a different browser.

You should get your data back when you leave Private Browsing mode, i.e. remove the checkmark and restart Firefox.
Firefox stores the open tabs in the sessionstore.js file, so make sure that Session Restore is working properly.
You can reset <b>browser.sessionstore.*</b> prefs that are user set (bold) to the default value via the right-click context menu on the <b>about:config</b> page to make sure that Session Restore is enabled and working properly.

10.5.2 update crashes in Safari, mail, itunes and others

I recently updated to 10.5.2 and am experiencing window drop-out after about 15 minutes in mail,safari and others. Once the window has dropped out the app. seems to freeze and the only way to recover it is to power down and reboot. I am not sure that it is the update that is at fault though, it just seems logical. It is happening on my new Imac and my G4 laptop. I have tried permissions repair and reloading the update to no avail. Has anybody had this problem? Any answers please?

There have been many reports of problems with third party apps, as well as with apps that are not yet updated for Leopard. I wonder if there is some app update that spelled doom for you? My best suggestion is...
start from scratch.
Clone the drive, do a clean install, us Aasistant to move your documents and system level stuff back but not the third party apps. Install the third party apps one by one to see where the problem is. I suspect that any app that affects 'look and feel' will be the culprit. Or not. Early on, I could not run Acrobat Pro, Photoshop Elements and Toast at the same time. With the current updates, they work fine. All three wanted to use the same system resources, at least at first.
It's a pain but in the end it could work.

Offline Files (Background) Sync makes File Explorer and other programs responding slow

I have a problem with Offline Files and
especially with VPN users.
For VPN users, the slow-link
policy is activated with a background
sync interval of one hour. But, when Offline Files is syncing, their File Explorer is hanging (not responding) by creating new files/folders, deleting files/folder, or rename files/folders. This happens only in their (redirected)UserData
folder or with other DFS shares which are cached locally. In other programs (Outlook or Office 2010) when they save data in the UserData folder exactly the same things happens (not responding).
This problem occurs in both the
internal network and via VPN, so bandwidth is
not the problem. When the sync is finished, everything is working fine again.
I've tested:
- Offline mode with scheduled background sync: problem occurs
- Online mode with manual sync: problem occurs
- Rebuild offline cache database: no effect
- Tested with fresh Windows 8(.1) installations and user profiles: problem occurs
- Monitoring SMB traffic with WireShark: no result
- Montoring Windows 8(.1) clients with procmon: no result
- Tested with full DFS paths: problem occurs
- Disable IPv6: problem occurs
- Disable Windows Search: problem occurs
- Browsing in the Offline Files folder (Sync Center -> Manage Offline Files -> View Offline Files) is very slow (with +- 200 files). This occurs also when Offline Files is not syncing.
Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this problem?

First, sorry for the late response, I have tested a few things for you:
Offline mode with background sync over a VPN connection: During scheduled sync File Explorer hangs. When bypass the cache by using a UNC path (State: Online) there is also a delay, but this is caused by bandwidth.
Online Mode with Manual Sync over a LAN connection: During sync File Explorer hangs in (redirected)UserData Folders (They are always available offline, maybe this is a problem?). With UNC paths, there is no delay…
The first folder/file is created slowly, but the second is fast.

CS5 and Other Programs

I asked this in another discussion but shouldn't have because it was under the wrong topic. Hopefully the answers here can help myself and many others. I'm trying to build a business website, I'm using dynamic data because I don't feel like building the entire corporate inventory of around 20,000 items one page and link at a time.
I'm aware that there's some issues in trying to combine DW and VS 2010 in certain regards. I'm also aware of various other IDE's such as Netbeans.
Ok, if I built a SQL (or MySQL) database using something like C#, could DW read from it? I don't need to transfer anything other than the structure (table set up, contents, and the entity relationships). So if I filled in about 200 products worth of information in VS for testing purposes, could Dreamweaver read that and could I make it do query statements without compatibility popping up? All DW needs to do is read and query it, as far as I know, that doesn't need anything like stored procedures from VS. Secondly, if I updated that database using VS, would I have to rebuild my DW connection, if not, how do I do it?
I've found the PHP code to make Dreamweaver display dynamic data, would this interfere?
That leaves the other question. Netbeans has PHP editing capability, if I wrote the code in Netbeans, I could just copy and paste that into DW, right? I just want the debugging feature that won't make me guess at the problems, and netbeans shows me right in the code where it's wrong.

Now for some reason, I have yet to see you post anything, other than critisism, regarding security on forms. You had mentioned in one of your post that a single line would make the form scripts safe, are you delusional, do you really think that one line of code would secure anything on the internet?
