CC wide time effect in AE CC?

I recently upgraded from CS6 to Creative Cloud.
The CC Wide Time effect which I use a lot is still listed in the filters, but when I try to apply it to a composition it tells me:
after effects error (517) this version of cc wide time is only for use with after effects cs6
Any ideas?

Until bug fixed, I decided to use CC Wide TImes on AE cs6 for certain clips
Well, effect loaded, but dones not work properly on cs6 now.
cs6 is also updated, latest version...is it alos bug ?

AE CS6 CC Wide TIme can load, effect does not work...
AE CC error message..
on OSX CC just works fine.
I want to avoid converting huge files to Mac and back to PC.
How soon can you fix this bug ?

How planned delivery time effects delivery creation?

Dear All,
Some time before, while placing order thro' CRM, we came across a typical error (hard error).
"date (11/12/2011) lies afterthe end of validity calendar".
we could not place order in CRM but in SAP we could create save the order despite of same error but soft. However system didn't allow to create delivery for same order & same error message populated"
Later it was found that it is because for material " Planned Deliv. Time maintained for say "X "days in material master MRP2 view" & was corrected.
How planned delivery time effects delivery creation?
For material even though planned delivery time was maintained as say for 500 days, sales order requested delivery date & delivery date in order schedule line got determined as order date (Considering avaliability of funds & material).
i.e order date/req. delivery date/delivery date in schedule line are same as date on which order is placed.

Time effect problem with adjusment layer

I made an adjustment layer above two footages. Everything is working (color, levels etc.) with that except time effects. When I drag twixtor to it the video turns to red. The original picture:

And when I use timewarp effect this happens:
The lower side has crapped out and even my black and white color has been removed. Is it because of the size or fps or what else?
(720p footages, 50 fps, I changed comp size, version is AE CS6 11.0.0.378)

Pre-compose or render the comp that you want to speed up or slow down. Add a solid. Apply Twixtor to the solid. Use the pre-comp as the source and make the time changes you are planning.

Please let me know if my system is able to utilize the "real-time effects." I'm using Final Cut Pro 3.0.4. I understand the system requirements are: "500-MHz or faster single or dual processor Power Mac G4, for the real-time effects to be utilized." However, I am not able to get the real-time effects to work on my iMac G5.
Any help would be appreciated. Or refer me to information already posted. Thank you

REal time is a complex function of CPU, OS, user and system settings inside FCP, your project settings and machine's RAM. You did not include your OS nor your project settings, I'll assume conventional DV.
About all you can do is continue to work through the manual carefully, studying the setups for your format of choice. It ain't easy the first two or three hundred times but after that, piece of cake.

Real-time effects no longer available after re-install

I recently blanked my entire system in order to re-install everything clean. Since then, things that used to work no longer do. I have installed Premiere Pro 1.5.1 + the Matrox RT.X100 Tools, Build 6122. I've removed the card and installed, un-installed and re-installed twice. I'm sure I'm doing it correctly. This is not a hardware compatability issue, as this system has been editing fine for over a year. Here's what's going wrong...
1. First of all, I cannot drag a simple Premiere Cross-Dissolve into the timeline without creating a red area above the effect (meaning the effect needs to be rendered). That was never the case in the past...Premiere always allowed a real-time dissolve effect.
2. When I drag over a Matrox effect (any kind of effect..transition, blur, whatever), it won't appear on the timeline. That is, I drag it to the spot where I want to apply it and let go, but the effect is not there. Effects will not "stick" to the timeline nor to clips in the timeline.

Yes, as Jeff, er-r Phil , says, the Rendering (red line to green) of any Transition in pure PrPro has always been the case. The RT aspect is part of the Matrox card.

Time effects : why I don't get anything in Program view?

What am I missing here: whenever I try to apply a "time" video effect (such as Time warp, echo or else), my program monitor disappear. I did not have this issue in Premiere CS3. Am I missing something in the settings ?

Replenish Lead time effecting Materials

We have issue in Sales orders, For some materials confirmed qty is getting 0. Availability check codes and material determination are maintained correctly .
It happens once a week, then user have to edit order manually. Its happening for different materials at a point of time(Ex: Item 1002876 unable to get confirmed qty, after some time we test creating order with same material and there is no same issue)
Can any one faced this kind of situation before, please share thoughts on same. Does RLT enhancements effect orders?

Yes the material i have listed above is a BOM that has 6 products under it with item category: L (stock item). The BOM products have item category as NORM and 4 products are material type: HAWA (trading goods) the rest two are FERT: finished

Im looking for an effect i really want to use but i forgot its name. Its basically time changing like back,forward,back,forward you can mostly see it on some skate movies or somethink like that if anybody knows what i mean pls help me im desperate. I saw a tutorial on youtube a while back when i didnt need it but now when i need it i cant find it thx in advance

I know that you can set a time limit for each question, can you set a time limit for the entire project?

That variable has really no sense. First of all, you have to create it and it will just be toggled when time is over. I think it is just taken over from the former Timer widget (Timer widget... to stress your learners - Captivate blog) where it had sense, because it didn't have the same functionality of jumping to a slide when time was over. Beware: the timing is not very accurate, it will start with a delay of about 1 second if you put it on the first slide (display for rest of project), and when time is over the message (you cannot escape from it) will display for 2 seconds. Had planned to blog about Timing/Hourglass interactions, but have too many plans that I didn't realize.

Time effective workflow to straighten out errors in scanned art?

hello all
another question if i may? when i import scanned images from freehand drawing, often they arent entirely straight. what should have been a 90 degree right angle has curves in it, due to the hand that drew it being jogged, etc.
so, my questions;
*is there a way to remove unintentionally traced curves on a path? - making it straight? - i could do this by hand by deleting paths and moving handles, but it would take a ridiculous amount of time on some images.
* similarly, is there a quick method that simplifies a curved path?, making the bend much cleaner and removing any jittery errors a human hand could have made?

For my part you are welcome, Shenzi.
You may consider a combination of drawing with the Pen Tool and joining paths, including parts of basic shapes such as squares/rectangles, circles/ellipses, polygons, etc. That is one way to get segments that are parts of circles, right angles, etc.
In this connexion, you may cut the paths at Anchor Points with the Scissors Tool, and you may Object>Path>Add Anchor Points to get the ones you need.
You may join separate paths by selecting coininciding end points with the Direct Selection Tool and Ctrl+J/Cmd+J.
With a cut/open path, you may continue drawing, clicking/clickdragging the end point with the Pen Tool.
You may also use the Shift key while using the Pen Tool to get the desired directions/angles.
And many other options.

Loading times effect movie performance

How can I speed up the loading time of my website for viewers so my
buttons work properly ?
If you click on the 2nd and 3rd instance of a button on my opening page too quickly,
which navigate to later parts of the movie, the buttons don't work properly and you
get a message "error #2004 incomplete load". If you wait 10 or 15 seconds
(depending on the system) the buttons work properly.
Will compressing my movie when publishing the .swf speed up loading time for the
web viewer or just degrade my file ?

The compress setting in the publish settings is safe to use -- if that is the one you are asking about. It just compresses the size of the swf file with a lossless compression. So that is one thing you can do.
Another is that you could add a preloader -- some code that doesn't let the site actually start working until the whole thing is loaded. Usually a preloader shows some interesting animation to indicate to the user how long they will have to wait. If you are certain that you content downloads in about 10 or 15 seconds that is probably pretty good.
If the file gets much bigger than that you might want to look into putting some of the assets into external files and doing dynamic loading.
To do a short preloader add a frame at the beginning of your timeline and add this code"

You could add some little animated movieclip to that frame which would keep running and provide some visual "eyecandy" while the user waits. But you will want to keep that artwork simple. All the content of frame 1 must download before anything can start running. That will just make it stay on. If you have a lot of components in the library or many other things set to export for actionscript you might also have a long delay.
Or you might want to do some kind of code to make the animation. Often that will have a smaller footprint.

Efficient Time effective algorithm to read a BIG Size Image matrix

I am given a specific problem for Big size Matrix data handling.
In a File there are Huze data in the Matrix form (m*n) - These data basically represents some image pixel value.
say for example I am give a pixel value of leena image of size 5MB.
What should be the efficient logic for faster reading of the File and put it in a Data Structure,
What should be the efficient Data structute to hold that huge data (data range varry from 0-255)

It rather depends what you want to do with the data. For most purposes, I'd imagine that that the standard image libraries are pretty good.

Creator Updates - any more cost / time effective alternative?

Is there a way to download the Creator updates on to a disk at (say) an internet cafe for later update of my copy - I have a very slow internet connection line , and usually terminate the update, halfway to the end ,because it takes forever. Beside it seems to update ant, jaxp, java api etc - all of which I have the latest version.

The update modules(.nbm files) are not public yet. I am not sure if this is the right solution but you need to have the creator installed on the machine to download the modules first.
Try this if possible..
- Install creator on the machine where you feel that you have high speed internet (On same OS as yours and with your own key)
- Connect to update centre and download the all the modules.
- In "View certificates and Install Modules" dialog there is a button Save Copy to save the modules. Click on that to save a copy of modules to a directory. ( all the files saved in this dierctory are having .nbm extension)
- Now copy these files to your machine where you have creator installed. Copy all the .nbm files to <Creator Root>/bin directory
- Start the IDE and it will update the ide with the downloaded modules.
I am not sure how usefule is this but there is no other way now.
