CC won't launch, can't download additional applications

Creative Cloud was working fine a few days ago, and I was able to download Photoshop and Illustrator but now the program will not launch. I have just gotten up in the middle of the night to download the rest of the suite (I'm on satellite internet and get free data downloads between midnight and 5 a.m.) but apparently I no longer have the ability to access CC files. On another thread, everyone solved their problems by deleting input manager files, but I cannot find a folder with that name. I have a folder called library/input methods, but it is empty. I am running OS 10.10.2 on a brand new iMac. This is beyond frustrating.

JulieJensen I have responded in the other discussion.  What specific errors are you receiving when you try to install Adobe Creative applications?

Running Windows 7 and have had no trouble with PDF files until few weeks ago.  Now Adobe Reader Xi won't execute and I can't download or open existing PDF files using Adobe.  Interesting that I can open existing PDF files unsit PaintShop Pro X4 but not in Adobe.  Have unistalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader XI several times with no change in problem.

You can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement

  • CC desktop application won't launch, can't download from site

I am a new CC member. I downloaded the application yesterday - it shows on my (Windows) desktop, but nothing happens when I click it. I tried logging into the Adobe website, but when I attempt to download an application, nothing happens again. I've tried two different browsers, and emptied my browser history. Help!

I'm having this issue too. Did you figure anything out?

  • Why do I get "Can't download additional components needed to install OSX" - Which prevents installation from completing?, Why do I get "Can't download additional components needed to install OSX" - Which prevents installation from completing?

After an hour or two of the installation process, with reamining time registering only 7 minutes, a box appears on screen with the message:
"Can't download additional components needed to installl OS X". I can't get beyond that poiint.  I had not trouble installing Lion yesterday, but three attempts to install Mountain Lion hand up at this same point.  What can I do about it?  (I'm installing to a Mac Mini that I bought in 2012. I have 110 GB free out of 249.67GB.  I have VMWare Fusion installed and that allocates 69.55 to Windows.)

    Try resetting the App Store.

    Hi
Given that your answer to 1. is 'pre-installed' and 3. is 'No', I think the only thing to do is to take it to an Apple store (ideally the one you bought it from) and have them reinstall it for you.
The intended solution in cases like yours is that you should be able to reboot and install even a wiped disk by using Apple's servers over the internet (you do this by restarting with 'command-r' and choosing 'reinstall Lion'). However if this isn't working for you then you need to get the store to do it. Don't let them fob you off with 'go home and try again'. Have them do it in the shop (you're still covered by Applecare warranty so it should cost you nothing save the inconvenience of the trip and possibly leaving the machine there while they fix it).
A reinstall should leave all your own personal data and programs in place.
Note for future: when you get it fixed, first thing to do is buy a cheap external drive and start keeping a backup (either Time Machine or clone with Carbon Copy Cloner).

I recently got an app ( ice age village )
And it's a great game, but when you get further on into it you have to buy acorns, and to buy some of the items you have to buy an acorn package, even the most expensive package won't get you all the items!
It's spoiling the game! Apple need to sort this! It's a kids game for gods sake!

  • I created an Apple ID on my iPhone, but I can not download any application because a message appears saying that iTunes can not login.

I created an Apple ID on my iPhone, but I can not download any application because a message appears saying that iTunes store can not login. The strange thing is that my Apple ID works perfectly when I try to access my icloud browser on my iMac and even I join this forum. I login with my ID system icloud without problems! Why can not I download applications? What relationship has between iTunes store and iCloud?

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

  • Can not download paid application!!

I'm a curve 9380 user from Turkey. I recently tried to buy an application from the App World. There was a error message: "There was a problem connecting to the payment system. Your transaction has not been processed. Please try again later (Error Id: 13000)" ..... However, according to my credit card account, the price was succesfully claimed by the RIM services. And I can't download the application. How can I solve this problem?

Hello, I have an ipod touch 2g and I can not download the application or change the version. made for me a solution please. and thank you

The hardware on the 2G does not support an iOS version higher than 4.2.1. If you want apps that require a higher version you will need to get a newer model iPod.
To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
    Vintapps 3.1.3 - paid app.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.

Your phone is carrier locked to a carrier other than the one you are trying to use.
It was apparently hacked to unlock it prior to your attempt to update. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier.
Contact them and find out what their policy is.

  • Hi there: how many times can I downloads a application I bought from you?

how many times can I download an application bought from you?

If you are asking about your personal Mac, and you want to delete FCPX and then reinstall it, then I agree with Tom, you can do it is many times as you want.
If, however, you are asking about other Macs that you own or control, then here is the language from the Apple End User License Agreement
    http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/FinalCutPro.pdf
to download, install, use and run for personal, non-commercial use, one (1) copy of the Apple Software directly on each Apple-branded computer running OS X (“Mac Computer”) that you own or control; and
(ii) if you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, to download, install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software for use either: (a) by a single individual on each of the Mac Computer(s) that you own or control, or (b) by multiple individuals on a single shared Mac
Computer that you own or control. For example, a single employee may use the Apple Software on both the employee’s desktop Mac Computer and laptop Mac Computer, or multiple students may serially use the Apple Software on a single Mac Computer located at a resource center or library.
