Cca xml export for SIP Trunk service providers, request or schema.

Hi
Please can I have the complete xml schema for SIP trunks so I can create a proper template?
Exporting from CCA 3.2.2 gives me an incomplete and sometimes inaccurate xml file
example: toll fraud protection  - I would like to add this in to the template - how
SIP registration: If I set this to 120 on CCA and export - the exported template remains as 3600
thanks
Adam

Hi Adam,
Are you saying when you try to export your SIP trunk settings via CCA that your settings are incorrect in the xml file?  If so, I recommend opening a case to troubleshoot the issue as it sounds like a bug to me.

  • How to Remove port number for SIP trunk in CME

    Hi,
I trying to set a SIP trunk with SIP provider, I have CME 7.1
The trunk is registered now but I can´t make calsl via SIP provider. After some debbugs sip provider's staff told me that the solution is not
not append the port in the INVITE.
Is it possible to do this?, How?
I have found some info about normalization but is relating to CM server not CME.
    regards

what port number does your provider use for signalling? They need to provide you the port number if its different from the standard 5060..
You can then configure the signalling ports on your dial-peer as shown  in example below..where port 5081 is used here
    dial-peer voice 1 voip
    destination-pattern .T
    session protocol sipv2
    session target ipv4:10.10.10.24:5081

  • License for SIP trunk?

Hi Guys, we are going to setup a few SIP Trunks between CUCM 7.1.3 and third party FAX server. Do we need extra license for this SIP trunk? I had a look at the license calculator but it doesn't mention any SIP trunks. So I think it will not consume any license units, am I correct?
    Thanks. Leo

Yes, correct, no licenses required/consumed for/by SIP Trunk.

  • Export for online printing service question...

Hi all...I am new to all this exporting business so please bear with me. In the past if i wanted prints made i just burnt them to a disk and took the disk to a local photo lab to have printed. So the question is when using an online printing service such as Mpix, would i just export versions as original sized jpegs and send them to the printing service and that's it or do i also have to mess with the dpi setting? I noticed the default dpi setting is 72 for all the export presets. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...Dave

    hello, dave
quote: "when using an online printing service such as Mpix, would i just export versions as original sized jpegs and send them to the printing service and that's it or do i also have to mess with the dpi setting?"
when someone else is doing your printing always ask them how they want your Versions delivered first prior to burning the DVD, for example, 16bit TIFF, 8bit TIFF, colorsync (color mangement), dpi...there is an excellent tutorial/information on this in Aperture's help menu "Photography Fundamentals"
what i do is edit the photograph by softproofing to the printer used. in Aperture select the Proofing Profile & then Onscreen Proofing

  • When service PO is saved no xml generated for MM-SUS Service Procurement

    Hi,
    We have SRM 7.0 & EHP 6.0 (service pack 4) .
The settings are in place as per the below SAP Notes:
Note 1286936 - PI configuration for SRM - additional information
Note 1268336 - Business Suite 2008: Synchronous peer-to peer Services
For Service Procurement (MM-SUS), in XI we have configured Standard Integration Scenario "SE_Services_Procurement" which is available in Integration Repository. (Proxy-Proxy Communication)
We are facing issue while creating the service purchase order in MM-SUS scenario.
PO should transfer through XML as in XI config we have used proxies for both ECC & SRM, when creating PO xml not generated in SXI_MONITOR in ECC.
Please guide the config required in ECC to generate the XML

    1. creation of SRM RFx from within the ERP Web Dynpro applicattion "Collective processing of Purchase Requisitions (CPPR)
    2. Central Contract Management (CCM)
This will not help us in enabling service procurement.
Have u found any documentation to enable generation of XML message in ERP once a service PO is generated?
Any progress from ur side? Could u help us with this issue.

  • Is crossdomain.xml Needed for SOAP Web Services?

A Flash developer who is attempting to use Flash to access a
SOAP web service provided on one of our servers says we need to add
a crossdomain.xml file to our server listing their domain as an
acceptable source. The SOAP service simply accepts some data and
returns a status. It doesn't make sense to me that we would need to
provide a crossdomain.xml file. If we did, all web services all
over the Internet would have to do the same to allow Flash to call
    them.
If I am correct and the file is not necessary, then what else
in FlashPlayer might be blocking their attempts to access our
server? I don't know much about Flash, but I do know some sort of
security configuration files are necessary to allow SWF files to
access the Internet. Could this be what they are missing?

Yes, you need a crossdomain.xml file in place. When I do SOAP
    calls to
a service not under my control I just write a proxy for it,
    then I don't
need to have anyone add the crossdomain policy file.

  • Anyone use CUBE for SIP trunking? Have a read.

    voice service voip
         sip
              silent discard-untrusted
Silent discard was added in 15.3.3M to make the router not send 403 errors to untrusted entities...which exposes the router (validates that it's there essentially).
Might want to add that when upgrading to that version.

  • SIP Trunk for Legacy Nortel PBX

We have a legacy Nortel Meridian Option 11c, and about 400 digital sets. This is being fed by two PRI's from a big, old telecom whose name you would recognize if I told you. Our 3-year contract on the PRI's expired and our long distance went up overnight by an unbelievable percentage (completely outrageous and unsustainable). We have to get off of them right away. We're thinking that a SIP trunk service would be an economical way to bring down the costs; however the current system does not have capabilities to connect to a SIP trunk. There are two ways to address this: 1) a SIP-to-PRI gateway device (Digium, Adtran, etc.), or 2) get a whole new phone system. We have vendors trying to push us a to completely new phone system. We are not in a position to buy a new phone system. Maybe in a couple of years, but not now. Yes, I know Nortel...

You don't need H323 at all in this setup, man.
    The Correct Setup Is:
TDM PBX ----PRI--->Cisco ISRG2 Gateway with PVDMs and VWIC2 or better ----SIP-----> SIPSP
This works like you have a PRI gateway from the PSTN to CUCM, except reversed. The VOIP call legs face your SIP SP, and the POTS call legs face the PBX.
I'd recommend against Q.SIG. I know a lot of people like it but each PBX vendor speaks a slightly different version and it gets messy. Just provision the whole thing as NI2 and make sure you are the network and clock source for the PBX (clock source internal on the controller and protocol-emulate network on the Serial x/x/x:23 interface).
Make sure your dial peers are set up correctly and this is easy as cake, man.
Let me know if you need any configuration assistance on this, I've done it like a thousand times.

  • Calls from Sip Trunk to UC540 and then to CUE returned ** Service Unavailable**

    Hi to all
i have something strange here and i need your assistance
    Call Flow:
    Sip trunk-->UC540--> CUE
When calls coming to UC540 from outside and then going to cue then we send back service unavailable.I made a translation and i sent directly the incoming calls to CUE
The same behavior is also if i send the calls to dummy number and then from there set forward all to voice mail.
    Incoming voicemail is working fine
Incoming calls to phones also ok
    Uc540: 8.6
    CUE: 8.6.5
    A number: 99999999
    B number: 22777777
    Voice Mail Number:111
    Attached is the trace
i see that we hit the correct dial peers .
I have enable only trancoder since MTP is not register ( don't know why , but i don't think also that is necessary..

    Hi Patrick
I am working on this one as well. I have a UC560 with SIP Trunk provider Les.NET.
It was working fine until a few weeks ago when something changed on the provider end and broke it. My hunch it is something to do with the SIP REFER.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-express/91535-cme-sip-trunking-config.html
Here is an excerpt from the above page:
    Call Transfer
When a call comes in on an SIP trunk to an SCCP Phone or CUE AutoAttendant (AA) and is transferred, the CME by default will send a SIP REFER message to the SP proxy. Most SP Proxy Servers do not support the REFER method. This needs to be configured in order to force the CME to hairpin the call:
    Router(config)#voice service voip
    Router(conf-voi-serv)#no supplementary-service sip refer
Figure 3 shows the behavior of the CME system with the REFER method disabled.

  • Configuring Level3 SIP trunk with Lync 2013

Hi, I ran into some issues trying to configure SIP trunk from Level 3 and I was hoping someone here can help. We have our mediation server collocated with FE and SIP traffic goes from public IP, port 5060 via NAT, to local IP on FE, port 5060.
Level 3 provided us with one signaling IP and two RTP IPs.
I tried multiple trunk configuration settings and I can see that when I'm placing a call from Lync to an outside number I'm getting INVITE from Level 3 signaling IP, the session is established, phone rings, but there is no audio on either side. There's also
a METHOD NOT ALLOWED message coming from them, which doesn't tell me much about what's happening.
If I call to a Level 3 DID (assigned to my Lync user account) there's also INVITE from their side, but later I receive a CANCEL from them due to idle session. The phone never rings.
    Questions:
    1) Does anyone have Level 3 SIP trunks configured and can share their Get-TrunkConfiguration settings? What settings should I have for encryption, refer, sessionTimer / RTCP, and others? Level 3 refuses to provide any additional information besides IPs.
    2) Do I understand this correctly that when configuring PSTN gateways in topology, one of the RTP IPs should be entered in the  "alternate media IP" field? We have SIP trunks from another provider (which work fine), and they only use one IP
for everything, so I don't have any experience configuring separate SIP and media IPs with Lync.
Thanks, and let me know if I should provide additional info.

    Hi,
On Lync topology PSTN gateways interface, please check if you enter gateway listening port 5060 and enable TCP option.
Please also check if you enable refer support on Lync Server Control Panel, if you enable it please uncheck it.
You can compare the trunk configuration for Level 3 in the part “Sample Trunk Configuration for Level 3” in the link below with yours’, it is for Lync server 2010 but similar for Lync server 2013:
