CcBPM excersise for practise
Hello Guru's,
Can any one give me the links for the scenarios on ccBPM. I have looked into this site and got the information on the theoretical material of ccBPM. And i hardly finde one or two scenarios on basics of ccBPM. So kindly help me giving the scenarios which give me the complete knowledge on ccBPM. Like implementing the all the steps and configuring alerts and utilizing the correlation concept.( not in one scenario)
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
For the purpose use this link http://www.saptechnicall.com/Tutorials/XI/XIMainPage
and see next XI scenarios

ccBPM offers achieving some difficult requirements easily , that means some cases using standard way of integration not possible .it is true that ccBPM scenarios uses one more layer(BPE engine) but it doesn't mean that it is going to give worst performance.
i had done couple of implementations where we used extensively ccBPM to achive complex integration logics, i never felt ccBPM performance point of view any problems, all interfaces working perfectly in production.my view is it is really awesome.
we have to design any interfaces by following best architectural standards in case of ccBPM also same, there is so much negative publicity about ccBPM, but is it not all true.
the thing that intrigues me the most is the reference to different systems .

it is a good practise to use ccBPM in this case and it is offering correlation mechanism to maintain the reaction between messages so that you can easily differentiate and suppress the unwanted messages.

SQL Question Bank and Answers for Practise
Dear Readers:
Does any one have any recommendation on SQL question bank and answers where I could practice my SQL.
I have developed some basic knowledge of SQL thanks to the MS community, but I am looking for some additional Questions or textbook recommendations which has questions and answers to queries for practice.

Process multiple documents in zip file without using ccBPM in PI
Hi,
Is it possible for PI to handle multiple documents within a zipped source file without the use of ccBPM?
For example, I have an incoming source zip file containing 0.pdf, a,xml, z.pdf respectively, After having the sender communication channel uncompress the zip file, each pdf file should be pushed to a directory on a file server, and the xml file should go through a message mapping.
Is this possible to process all of the files without the use of ccBPM?
Regards,
JimHi Michal,
Thank you for your response. The example I provided is just one potential case. In general, the zip file will always contain 1 xml file and 0-n PDFs, Word docs, or other types of documents. Also, the first file in the zip may not always be the xml file, which is what I was trying to portray by my example. Since I am not sure how many non-xml files will be included, I did not know if I could handle all of them directly, without ccBPM.
At this point, I am leaning towards using a script preprocessor to uncompress the zip, then for each file found, push the xml file to an NFS channel which will process/map the xml, and push every other file type to another NFS channel to copy these documents to a predetermined directory on a predetermined server.
What are your thoughts on this approach?
Thanks and Regards,

Different options for message mapping in BPM
Hey guys
i m in the learning phase of BPM and am kinda confused with the different ways we can do message mapping in a BPM scenario.
first of all we can do message mapping before BPM,we can also do after BPM and lastly we can do inside BPM(ofcurse this is not recommended as its too resource consuming)
i have bene through starters blog on BPM by Krishna moorthy and Arpit seth, and now am wondering how to use the mapping in diff. ways
suppose i m doing a simple File to File with BPM(just for practise purpose)
now here is what i have designed in IR
DT_sender_File DT_receiver_File
MT_sender_File MT_receiver_File
MI_Outbound_sender(async,outbound), MI_Inbound_receiver(async,inbound)
AI_sender(abstract,async) AI_receiver(abstract,async)
MM_File_File(using MT_sender_File and MT_receiver_File)
now i want to clear some doubts about interface mapping.my understanding is
if i do interface mapping between MI_Outbound_sender and AI_receiver,this will be interface mapping before BPM.
if i do interface mapping between AI_sender and MI_Inbound_receiver,this will be interafce mapping after BPM
and if i do interface mapping between AI_sender and AI_receiver then it will be mapping inside BPM.
is my understanding correct?if yes, then does that means we can we any of the above mapping in our scenario.(if we dont consider the performance issue as of now)
thanx
saifHi Saif,
<i>
is my understanding correct?</i>
Yes, thts correct
<i>if yes, then does that means we can we any of the above mapping in our scenario</i>
Of course, u can use any of them (overlooking the performance issue)

Using ccBPM to make XI return a sync message request as the response
Dear all,
I have a scenario where I need to return a sync message request back as the resonse. This is needed to test an non-SAP interface.
I'm pretty shure I can use the ccBPM to do this, but I can't get it to work. Any pointers on how to set this up would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
/JohanHi,
Yes that is tru that you can use ccBPM.
For reference you can use these 2 blogs to go ahead with your work.

I installed OBIEE 11.1.1.5 using SQL SERVER 2005.
Can someone help me out some sample data for practise purpose other than sampleapplite
Thanks,
SatyaBThe full version of BI Sample Application (not the lite) has a pretty good amount of sample data for practice. Have you tried using it?

Missing receiver agreement for incoming IDoc
Hi guys,
I transfer IDoc's from a SAP-system to XI to start a ccBPM-process
For that I don't need a receiver agreement.
But why I get always the error message "<b>No receiver agreement found for sender -<SAP-SYSTEM> to receiver -<integration process>"</b> ?
For other IDoc which coming from the same system but starting another process everything is working fine!!!
I don't understand that.
Could somebody help me please? Thanks very much in advance.
Regards, ThomasHi,
please can you check in transaction SXI_CACHE if the return code for the IP is 0.
Also, for the Interface that are working is it the same scenario SAP to IP with IDocs on the Outbound?

I was trying to get the reults without using analytical functions. Just trying to improve my SQL skills. Yes, I admit that practicising using the wrong tools can improve your SQL skills, but I think there's a lot to be said for practising using the right tools, too.
I tried all sort of things. I thought hierarchical query would do it but hard luck for me.Do you want to use a CONNECT BY query for this? Here's one way:
WITH got_max_level AS
SELECT id
, sal
, MAX (LEVEL) AS max_level
FROM table_x
CONNECT BY NOCYCLE id = PRIOR id
AND sal >= PRIOR sal
AND ( sal > PRIOR sal
OR ROWID > PRIOR ROWID
GROUP BY id
, sal
, got_cnt AS
SELECT id
, sal
, COUNT (*) AS cnt
FROM table_x
GROUP BY id
, sal
SELECT x.id
, x.sal
, l.max_level + 1 - c.cnt AS rnk
FROM table_x x
JOIN got_max_level l ON x.id = l.id
AND x.sal = l.sal
JOIN got_cnt c ON x.id = c.id
AND x.sal = c.sal
ORDER BY x.id
, x.sal
;This is even less efficient, as well as more complicated, than the scalar sub-query solution. -

Solved!
Go to Solution.PAR done!

when i use 200mhz as fpga clock i'm getting this error after compilation.
is there a way to use fpga other then 40mhz. and i dont want to use timed loops because i am using
