CCD Security Camera publishing Live FLV stream?

sweet hello to all,
I can publish my 'Live' flv video to my RTMP Server using my
webcam(USB), because flash player easily detects my camera and
publish live stream.
Problem is that, I want to use a Security Camera for this
pupose because I can get Good Picture quality and Lengthy wire of
course.
I want to stream flv video using my CCD Security Camera. But
Flash Player does't stream/show live video when i select this
camera from Flash Player camera names list. This security camera
works fine when i use it with my webcam software or Windows movie
maker.
please tell, Do i need to install some software or the issue
is something else?
Also tell me how can i check that my Security Camera is using
WDM Video capture Driver or Not??

Looking at the SecuritySpy web site, it seems that remote viewing feature uses port 8000.
You will need to configure the router you use in your country home so it forwards port 8000 from the internet to your iBook G4's port 8000.
How you setup port forwarding depends on the make and model of your router in the country home. Some Google searching for "make/model Port Forward" will most likely find instructions for your router.
If you do not have a router, and your iBook G4 is connected directly to your broadband modem AND your broadband modem is not also a router, then skip the Port Forwarding setup, and go to the next step.
To make your life easier, you may want to get a Dynamic DNS name which will make finding your country home's internet connection much easier. You can get a free Dynamic DNS name from No-IP.com and DynDNS.org. You also download a Dynamic DNS updating utility from the service you get the Dynamic DNS name from. This utility will run on your Mac and keep the Dynamic DNS name updated with whatever IP address your ISP assigns to your router.
If you have the firewall enable, you need to allow port 8000 through to the SecuritySpy software. NOTE: If you are behind a router, and this system never leaves the home (that is it does not go to coffee shops or other public WiFi access points), you can turn off the firewall and allow the home router to be your hardware firewall.
Once you have that all setup, you can then access your security camera/SecuritySpy software using something like:
http://yourDynamicDNSname.DynService.net:8000

I would like to stream live flv files with on-the-fly embedded cuepoints to synchronize slide shows to the live stream
I use the function frequently on on-demand streams, but those are static xml cuepoint lists
I understand that it can be done. I read in the doucmentation that there are navigation and event streams embedded in the .flv, regardless of whether it's live or on-demand. I need a way to enter cue points at the encoder and to set a listener for them in the player. I know the url i will be calling for ahead of time, just not the time in the event that it will be called.

Thanks for your response. Our use case seems is pretty basic. We have a live stream which will have cuepoints added at random times of the live encode. Additionally we want to retain the functionality for cuepoints added by actionscript to the dynamic timeline metadata The stream is h.264 and the encoder is inserting an in-stream callback for the cue point.
I know I can create a custom callback on the NetStream.client, but was initially investigating if they could/would be handled by current OSMF timeline processes. Another method I have thought of is to use different handlers for the embedded and dynamic timelines. MARKER_ADD events on the embedded timeline trigger an action immediately, rather than waiting for the MARKER_TIME_REACHED event.

What do i need to download to my iphone 3gs to be able to view all 4 security cameras at the same time? I can view one at a time live video streaming and just tap the screen to which direction i want to look and the lens moves.i use safari

I can view 1 at a time and just tap the screen to move the lens of the security camera on my iphone from my work place. But i once had all 4 cameras but it will not downlosd all 4 now. Is there anything out there like a stronger java to push the activex to my iphone?

The iPhone does not run ActiveX. That is proprietary to MS Internet Exploder.

Publish Live Stream with VP6 or H264

Hi. Assuming you downloaded and installed Adobe Media Server ( formerly Flash Media Server ) ..... On Windows .... You create a folder named whatever you want like "videos" in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Server 5\applications Then put the main.asc file in videos folder. Then create a folder in videos named media. So you have a full path like C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Server 5\applications\videos\media Put your .flv in the media folder. Restart AMS/FMS using the adminConsole C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Server 5\tools\ams_adminConsole.htm Then insert an flv
You may need to run the html from localhost rather than live preview or preview in browser because of security crap in flashplayer.

If the camera is not a network camera, then JMF might suffice. The JMF forum is located at (Java Media Framework Be warned though, that neither applets nor media handling are good topics for someone who is 'New To Java' to achieve.

We have a solution that allows you to do most of what you want, including bulding the form, having people fill it out either in Reader (as an XFA-PDF) or on the iPad (as an HTML form).
You design the form once, and it will by styled correctly on the appropriate platform.

Why is VideoTexture displaying my camera and flv streams as partially transparent?

When using VideoTexture my camera and flv streams are being rendered as partially transparent. This issue is intermittent. When using a Logitech c920 camera the VideoTexture seems to be rendering all pixels as expected. But with an Axis P12 camera, the pixels are always transparent (on Windows 8). When using .flv stream from RTMP server, the decoded pixels are sometimes rendered as transparent, and other times fully opaque. This behavior is also interesting when taking iOS 8 and iPhone 6 into account. So I play a flv stream on Windows and it is partially transparent. But then deploying the same code to iPhone 6, the flv stream renders fully opaque as expected.
Is the VideoTexture engineering team already aware of this?

For me VideoTexture works fine with camera.
May be you use blending? Something like:
context3D.setBlendFactors(Context3DBlendFactor.ONE, Context3DBlendFactor.ONE);
With this blending I also see streams partially transparent, but it's only one way I found to display FLV video with alpha channel.
If I use
context3D.setBlendFactors(Context3DBlendFactor.ONE, Context3DBlendFactor.ZERO);
stream fully opaque.
I have test it only with Windows for now.

Using iSight as a streaming security camera

I have a strange problem. My husband and I just adopted a new dog - 9 month old Belgian Malinois. He's too smart for his own good. The crux of the problem is that he's getting out of his crate. The crate is LOCKED and stays locked. Our trainer suggested that we use a security camera to monitor him while we're at work so we can at least learn HOW he's getting out.
Immediately I thought of my awesome MacBook Pro with built in iSight. I have a few small problems. My work blocks AOL Instant messanger, so I can't see the video feed through iChat. I've tried a trial of Timbucktu but for some reason my work computer can't communicate with my home computer.
AND I'll need a program that will run on both Windows and Mac if it's a program that I'll need to use.
HELP! I've got to be able to see what this dog is doing when I'm not home!!! Is there a way to automatically "videoblog" it?

Is it possible to connect encoder and FMS4.5 server on HTTP protocol?
i read in other articles FMLE can connect to FMS on RTMP protocol.

Camera publishing frame rate - slow

Hello,
We're creating a video chat app which will work across desktop, iOS and Android.
Everything is working fine except that the published stream suffers from a low frame rate - averaging around 7fps.
This is really annoying especially as the camera is capturing at approx 30fps.
We're using a beefy server running Wowza or AMS but the issue seems to be on the publishing side in the Air app.
Has anyone else experienced this or any one know of optimum settings to get that frame rate higher?
It seems like it might be a bug with Air to be honest as I wouldn't have thought publishing would put that much strain on the CPU to reduce the frame rate that much.

Hi Chris,
Sure, we used Scout and it showed the CPU was maxing out over 100%.
When the app wasn't publishing over the NetStream then CPU usage was around 30%. Which in itself seems high when there wasn't anything else going on and no other apps in the background.
This demo app we're using just displays the camera feed using a video object and then publish that feed directly to the streaming server. We've stripped out all other functionality while we address these video issues.
I can ask my guys to provide more detail regarding the Scout reports on Monday morning. But, until then what kind of CPU usage would you expect this process to consume? We're exporting video using the H.264 profile.
Doesn't the native camera utilise H.264 video and so other than encoding the audio to Speex I wouldn't have thought there's too much encoding/transcoding occurring? Just seems odd...
Any advice or ideas much appreciated!
Along these same lines...is there a reason why Air doesn't export/publish the video stream as H.264 and AAC since iOS already provides those? Is it a codec licensing issue? Just curious since Speex really isn't the best quality especially when we're going to be using this in a context where we'll be streaming live music events/gigs.

I have question, how can I play Multi Bit-rate, Live, HDS Streaming? I've done huge resarch and couldn't find how to do it.
I'm decoding stream properly from camera through Adobe Live Media Encoder to AMS.
everything works fine when I decode single bit rate and play like this:

Viewing my security camera remotely

I have a MacBook Pro in the City, and an iBook G4 in the country. I have installed a security camera in the country, and I would like to view it while I'm in the City. But I am unable to logon to my country computer.
I also purchased SecuritySpy software, which helps to implement this. But it seems to serve up live stream only on my local network, not onto the internet. Have already checked with developer for help with this. All settings on this software are nominal.
The larger issue seems to be that my computer (cam notwithstanding) can't be found on the internet either. When I type in the address for the country computer, it does not appear.
Maybe I don't know how to make this happen......
