CCft - Illustrator 17.1 update not offered for any team member

After extensive research on this I have to be the next one posting this:
being the admin I am wondering why none of my team members get the update 17.1 of Illustrator. Reinstalled, Cleaner Tool'ed, un- and rechecked "update" field in App Manager - it will update to 17.0.2, no further.
Localized German version - is there anything I missed about that update? should be out since 01/2014.

Hello... I love your browser and have it running on all my machines! I currently use it on my FreeBSD rig, my Windows 7 and Windows 8 rigs too. I always make sure to check for updates every few days because I know how important keeping internet-facing programs up to date is. This concerns Firefox 19 for Windows 7. I was able to update Firefox for Windows 8 to version 19.0.1.4805, I was doing some work in Windows 7 but Firefox did not update (it says its up to date). I was wondering if this was a glitch or if I have been given a fake copy from a unknown source (I also noticed Firefox is still version 19 on your download website). I cannot update iPhoto as I receive a message saying update not available for this Apple ID as either it was bought by a different user or was cancelled

I have inherited my daughters Macbook Air and am trying to update i photo. The message I receive is - update not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by another user or item was refunded or cancelled.
I have tried her ID which was still unsuccessful.
I cannot access my photos at all. Can anyone help?

Sign onto her Apple/iTunes ID in the iTunes Store. Then click on the iTunes ID and then on Account in the dropdown. Once you have her account screen displaying, scroll to the bottom and click on RESET next to the line "Reset All Warnings for Buying and Downloading", then try again (with her iTunes ID still signed on).

I understand your frustration, however update availability can vary depending on Region and carrier, this is because some regions and carriers may not have signed off the update or have policies preventing the update occuring.

Unfortunately, anything obtained at the app store remains tied to the Apple ID used to obtain it forever. You will either have to start over with your new ID or try to recover the original ID.

I am using Mac OSX 10.10.1 (memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, graphics Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB)
and my version of Photoshop is CC.
I ran into the same problem: I am able to place and view Blur Gallery pins but the adjustment wheel or outer control arounf the pin that allows you to tweak the blur value disappeared after being initially available. Additionally, the placed pin or pins appear to flicker on screen (while in blur gallery mode) until committing the change with the OK button. I have tried restarting both the computer and Photoshop, as well as what some other users have suggested such as View>Show>Edit pins turned on. Nothing has helped so far. I am still able to adjust the blur amount from the Blur Tools slider. thank you.

I keep getting this notification that the app 'Nyan Cat' needs to be updated, while I have never had or bought this app. When I try to update, I get 'Update not available for this Apple ID'. Is there anyway to remove this "update"?

Apparently the Bluetooth Share app has re-appeared in the Nokia collection in the Marketplace for some regions over the last week or so. Crap. That's what I was afraid of...Well, since I'm away from home and not near my pc, it sounds like I'm out of luck. The problem is that I need my phone to be at least functional for making and receiving calls. There's an apple store nearby. Perhaps I can go there and have them restore it and at least I'll be able to make and receive calls until I get home and restore from my backup. Does that sound feasible, or am I missing something?

SVM state database replica Master flag not set for any replica

Hi guys,
Recently i have done root mirroring. After creating svm volumes, i ran the metadb command to create state database replicas on the replaced disk. I created only one replica that time. I tried creating additional replicas but it said like replica already exist on the slice. So i deleted the replica on the slice. Thn i created 3 replicas again & ran metadb. Output of metadb command is below. I found there is not master flag not set for any replica. I like to know whether it would create any issue or it is fine.

That shouldn't be any problem, i think the metadb's are just read at boot, and at boot one of the replicas will be choosen as the master, and will then get the m-flag.
I suspect that you deleted the replica which was used as the master during the last boot, which is why none of your replicas have the m-flag at the moment, which is not a problem as it will be choosing a new replica during the next boot.

Hi,i am using windows 8 enterprise 64 bit and didn't find any windows media player so I downloaded the media player from the official Microsoft website and when I try to install it it shows that "WINDOWS UPDATE STANDALONE INSTALLER this update
is not availaible for your computer"
IS THERE ANY SOLUTION TO INSTALL MEDIA PLAYER ON MY WIN8 64BIT ENTERPRISE ????????

You can go to Control Panel> Programs and Feature > Turn windows feature on or off>scroll down to Meida features (expand you will see windows media player), tick then ok.

Ipad2 wont update, not eligible for requested build

Hello there, neither of my two ipads will update and both get the same error message: that they are not eligible.... Neither ipad has been tampered with.
im running itunes 10.2.2 and my OSX is 10.6.7

This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an "error 3194." If you receive this alert, update to the latest version of iTunes. Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart. Also, using an older or modified .ipsw file can cause this issue. Try moving the current .ipsw file, or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.
