CCM 2.0 avoid changes in the Procurement Catalogue

Hi!!!
Is it possible to avoid that the Master Catalog can change characteristic values in the Procurement Catalog?
This issue is critical for us. Could you please please help us?

We tried the "Read Only" solution but it's not working with complex characteristics such as price. Besides, it's the Catalog Manager who sets the read only flag, and we wanted the procurement catalog not be editable to avoid him to change some value (so, it has not much sense to make him responsible to set the flag, as he could just un-flag it, change values, and flag it again).
What we did was, go to the transaction PFCG, write the manager role (/CCM/CATALOG_MANAGER), the click on the authorization tab, and press on the Change Authorization Data button.
Then, inside the menu Cross-Application Authorization Object go to Access Restriction for Catalog Design Center. Here we added two new entries. So now we have 3 different "Restriction for Catalog Design Center", one for the Procurement Catalog (that don't have the activity of CHANGE), another for the Master Catalog (we had to wrote the name, because there isn't an option for the Master in the Catalog type menu. We wanted the Catalog Manager not to be able to publish it. However, although we didn't include PUBLISH in his activity, he still can publish it) and another one for the Supplier Catalog.
So, if someone knows how to avoid the Catalog Manager publishing the Master Catalog using authorizations, we would be really grateful for some tips.

Just select whatever you want to format and not the rest. If it is just the one paragraph just click any where in it.
The alignment formatting is on your toolbar, in the text inspector and under the Format menu > Text.

We had to change the feed adress (<itunes:new-feed-url>)and the epsiode adresses in the feed because the feed and the episode-files are on a new server. Now when i open my iTunes subscription of our podcast all the episodes of my podcast are downloaded again (although i have downloaded them already).
My Question therefore is: How can I make the changes in my feed and avoid that all the episodes are reloaded?
Maybe have an answer?

As I see now, our 'guid' tags contain the episode URLs
To avoid this problem in the future i would like to change guid tags. Can you please tell me how a guid tag should look like if it is not the URL?

i think u asking about the , if the material is excisable , then it will ask for material type , not all material type , onle like asset , raw material, consumable, non cenvatable , finished oods and tools.
There i hope its standard SAP system setting , because some time the if do consumable procurement with excisable material .
While doing Gr or J1IEX system will consider that material is capital item, that we cancahge to raw material and we can utilize the cenvate credit in the same year .
so it cannot be hide or making gray mode is difficult in practical.
So revert any clarification

To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.

Error message: iMovie cannot save changes to the library!?!

iMovie crashed my computer and now I can't creat a new movie.
Here's the full error message:
iMovie cannot save changes to the library.
The hard disk where your library is located may be full or unavailable or permissions may have changed. To avoid losing your work, quit iMovie.
What's up with this? I tried trashing the preferences, but got the same message. I have a 27-inch late 2013 iMac running Mavericks with 445.55 GB free space.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

You've already tried trashing iMovie preferences (By the way think in Mavericks you have to reboot as well after this for the new preferences to take effect) . One other thing to try is creating a new user account, logging in and seeing if you can create a new project in iMovie (of course you won't see your exisitng projects). If you can then iMovie itself is OK. If not then the only other thing I can think of is re-installing iMovie (see http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/qt/How-To-Re-Download-Apps-From-The-Mac-Ap p-Store.htm)
Is everthing else working OK after your computer crash? Maybe you should also run Verify disk in Disk Utility.
Maybe someone-else has some other suggestions (I have not heard of this problem before)?

Correct/Changes in the data in DataSource in R/3 System

Can we make the changes in the DataSource which is there in R/3 from were the data is loading into BW System?

Friend..here it is..
In the source system...Create an append structure to the std datasource's extract structure..then add fields in the append structure.The Z-fields can be named like 'ZZ<field-name>'.
(For the data-element,use same data element as that of the fields from where you will pick the data..so that format problems are avoided)
Save and activate the append structure and also the datasource extract structure.
Added z-fields are hidden by default.Now go to tcode rsa6 and find the std datasource.Click on change button and unhide the added z-fields..but do not remove the checkbox for 'fields known in customer exit'.
Now u will have to write user exit in tcode CMOD.
Go to CMOD and enter the project name for BW.
Then choose radio button components.
4 user exits will come up.Use 2nd one for master data attributes enhancements.
You will have to loop on C_T_DATA(or I_T_DATA) and modify it with derived values for the z-fields.
Save and activate exit.
Then do extract check in rsa3.See that z-fields getting derived OK.
In BW,try to find if BC infoobjects available for the required additional attributes.
Go to change mode in the std main infoobject and add the new attr at the end.
Then replicate datasource in BW,map the transfer and update rules and then load data.
Done.Hope I havent missed anything.

iF..You dont have an existing project and u have to create one.
Select a good name for a project..say ZBIW..and then enter the name and click on create button.It will take u to new screen.There give short text for project name.
Above u will see 'enhancement assignments' button.Click it and in the new screen add enhancement RSAP0001.
Save and remember to activate project too..
(save in appropriate transport request)
Then if u click the components button u will see the 4 user exits..
Choose the documentation radio button and u will get purpose of all 4 exits.

Avoid change in PO item field when entering Purchase Requisition no.

When we enter the Purchase Requisiton no. in the PO item line, the quantity of the PO item is changed to the quantity of what's left of the requisition. We need to avoid this. Does anyone know it it can be done by customizing? Or do I need to use i.e. user-exit?

You must enter the quantity only after referring the PR.

Mass change of the Original System

Hello Experts!!!
We need to do a massive change of the original system to avoid repair tasks. I know that thru SE03 or SM30->TADIR is possible, but we need to do it to all objects in the system.... I think It might exist a standar tool for that... what do you think???

How to avoid changes of hours in Agenda

Hi,
When I travel to other time zones, the avents entered previously in the calendar (Meetings) change their scheduled hours according to the new time zone in which I am. Suddenly meetings scheduled for 12 am appear at 5 pm. How can I avoid this.

From the menu bar, select
Calendar ▹ Preferences ▹ Advanced
and check the box marked
Turn on time zone support
Then, from the menu in the upper right corner of the Calendar window, select your desired time zone.

Format changing in the REport

Hi Guru,
We are running report in t-code:S_ALR_87012251, but last two onward we are not able to see the Expand and Collape tab option and Hierarchy option also, and the report format also got changed but the user want as per the previous format and which we can do the drill down.
And pl inform me how to get the report name .

Try putting
SRW.DO_SQL('alter session set NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS='', ''');
in the Before Report Trigger.
The setting might be reused for the next report if Reports is set to reuse the database connection.
To avoid this, I guess you change it back to default in the After Report Trigger.

Reflecting the XML Data Changes in the online swf

I am accessing an xml file which is in the server
continuously with in the distinct time intervals from my swf in an
online page.
If I make any change in the xml data it’s not
reflecting my online page because it’s accessing the xml file
from offline content.
How to avoid this? I want my page to be reflected immediately
when I make any change in my xml file.
Is there any wawy to clear the offline contents in
ActionScript or ASP?

Hi,
just add a changing variable to the URL of the xml file:
xml.load("data.xml?foo="+getTimer());
That way, the URL is never the same, so the xml gets loaded
again every time. You can't test this movie locally anymore, as it
throws file not found errors, but with a server it's working fine.

Can I avoid changing firefox's options by other software? I mean I hate when some other soft can change my firefox's default search engine and install useless add-ons.
So can I do something with this?

We are working on preventing other program from changing Firefox's preferences. Until then, be careful when you install stuff, don't jsut accept the defaults, but read on what's being changed and use common sense.

Variables don't change at the first time

i often work with variables. sometimes i read from a varibale at the beginning of the aplication, and save from a variable at the end of the appplication.
the problem is that the values aren't right at the first time.the values only changes at the second call.

It's not entirely clear what you mean when you say variables. Are you talking about global variables, local variables, or something else (i.e., controls)? If the answer is global variables or local variables then perhaps you should evaluate whether you really need these as they are often sources of race conditions. You may be better off using shift registers to pass the data.
One simple way to force an initialization state is to use a case structure set up with an initialization state when the iteration terminal is zero (i=0). This becomes sort of a quasi state machine structure and is a much better solution than a sequence structure. In some instances a FLAT sequence structure may be OK, but I would encourage you to avoid the use of sequence structures in
general as they disrupt the left to right flow of data which is the accepted practice of LabVIEW programming.
If this doesn't answer your question then if you will post an image or a copy of an example of your code (I am on LV 6.1) then I would be happy to take a look at it.

How do I avoid changing my passcode every month (mandatory).

It's asking me to re-enter a new pass code every month, which is a bit annoying. I like the security point of doing this, but I don't feel as though I need to change my pass code every month. Is there a way where i can avoid changing my pass code (mandatory),and just change it whenever I'd like to? Your feedback is much appreciated.

There is no requirement from Apple to change the passcode monthly. It is a requirement imposed by the IT administrator of your MS Exchange email server. IMO it is a really stupid requirement (and I work in IT security), but no one ever said corporate IT was intelligent.
