CCM 2.0 Catalogue Extract

Hi,
I would need to get an extract of the Supplier Catalog and Procurement Catalog.
I know that pressing the button Export Schema in the CAT I can get just the schema of the catalog, but not the content part. Is there any possibility to get an extract of the whole catalog (schema+content)? I am thinking that may be there is a table that I can access via SAPGui?

Hi Patricia,
AFAIK there's no possibility to export articles neither in the CAT nor over the GUI. Maybe it is possible to exctract it directly from the tables. But I don't know the exact tables that fit to your needs.
Take a look at the posting Catalog tables and CCM?

CCM Shopping from Catalogue

Dear All,
We are able to upload products in master catalogue, and then we have mapped the content to the master and procurement catalogue and published both them.
Once we try to go shopping, the following messages appears,
-for the procurement catalogue:
Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL
-for the master catalogue
Appears again the screen where you select the catalogue from where you want to shop.
I think I have done the appropriate setting in SRM-server and I have also defined the External web services, but I dont know what Im doing wrong or what Im missing to do.
We are using SRM 5.0 and CCM 2.0

Try using the IP in the URL (I seem to remember seeing a note re this problem).
Also could you confirm. The URL for the catalog can this be called independantly from the SRM application.
URL should be along like the below....
http://sapdev.mycompany:8000/sap/bc/bsp/ccm/srm_cse/main.do
The web page should display the wording
"Your session has timed out - call up SAP Catalog Search Engine again in SRM "

Error when Publishing a CCM Catalogue

Hello,
When publishing a new CCM Catalogue we tend to get the following message in production but not in our UAT system:
"Error when deleting TREX metadata for Catalog". It often takes 3 goes at publishing before it is successful.
Has anyone encountered this or know why it's happening?

Hi Jackie,
It generally refers to an issue with the TREX engine directly, perhaps the trex engine is under-resourced or used by too many applications via the same port.
Check the transaction TREXADMIN for any evident errors in there which may explain the problem.

Catalogue Deletion for Catalogue CCM 1.0 SRM version 4

Dear All
I am new to SRM and Catalogue Content Management, we currently use version CCM 1.0 and I hope to attend CCM 2.0 in the near future. There is only one person who is responsible for edit, and publishing the catalogue for our company. We recently had a problem where he tried to delete a vendor catalogue from our system directly from SRM and did not break the links between the procurement catalogue and the master catalogue. He simply selected the vendor catalogue and selected delete. If I search for the vendor in the catalogue then nothing appears but if i drill down on the procurement catalogue I can find products for the vendor and these items can still be selected when shopping.
Can someone confirm the process for vendor catalogue deletion in SRM.

Hi Sharon,
To delete the vendor catalog in CCM..
1. You have to take off all the mappings with master catalog and procurement catalog then all the item data came to procurement catalog will be deleted .
2. Select the vendor catalog and select delete.
3.Unfortunately you have deleted the supplier catalog from the table itself.
It wont delete all the data that is present in CAT .
4. To delete supplier catalog completely try this program /CCM/CLEANUP_CATALOG give the name of the catalog and try to delete the catalog.

CCM 2.0 avoid changes in the Procurement Catalogue

Is it possible to avoid that the Master Catalog can change characteristic values in the Procurement Catalog?

We tried the "Read Only" solution but it's not working with complex characteristics such as price. Besides, it's the Catalog Manager who sets the read only flag, and we wanted the procurement catalog not be editable to avoid him to change some value (so, it has not much sense to make him responsible to set the flag, as he could just un-flag it, change values, and flag it again).
What we did was, go to the transaction PFCG, write the manager role (/CCM/CATALOG_MANAGER), the click on the authorization tab, and press on the Change Authorization Data button.
Then, inside the menu Cross-Application Authorization Object go to Access Restriction for Catalog Design Center. Here we added two new entries. So now we have 3 different "Restriction for Catalog Design Center", one for the Procurement Catalog (that don't have the activity of CHANGE), another for the Master Catalog (we had to wrote the name, because there isn't an option for the Master in the Catalog type menu. We wanted the Catalog Manager not to be able to publish it. However, although we didn't include PUBLISH in his activity, he still can publish it) and another one for the Supplier Catalog.
So, if someone knows how to avoid the Catalog Manager publishing the Master Catalog using authorizations, we would be really grateful for some tips.

Search function for Catalogue CCM 1.0 SRM version 4

Dear Experts
Quite frequently the search function in our catalogue stops working via Display Categories Hierarchically, and when enter description in the find (advanced search) nothing is returned and the only way to search is via the Display Categories as Index.
The only way to resolve this issue is to republish the catalogue. We have 2 catalogues, one takes a hour to re publish and the second can take several hours, I am sure this is not best practice.
Can anyone advise what process should be followed to re start the search functionality in SRM.

I am new to the SRM scene and I am unsure how to "Could I ask you to create a new support case for BC-TRX component."
Would this be something I would forward to basis team???.
I think the short term I will set up a batch job to publish both master catalogues once a week then when I get a new hierarchy struture I will create full master catalogue and load schemas and check out how the indexes are created.

no it's not a standard behaviour. Unfortunately it's not clear which TREX process stops to respond : RfcServer or IndexServer. Could I ask you to create a new support case for BC-TRX component.

CCMS agent update fails with an error

Hello All,
We are trying to update CCMS agent 700 unicode version on 640_REL unicode kernel.
But we are getting below error
./sapccm4x -v
Could not open the ICU common library.
   The following files must be in the path described by
   the environment variable "LIBPATH":
   libicuuc30.a, libicudata30.a, libicui18n30.a [nlsui0_mt.c 1557] pid = 860208

If you use the Unicode version you need to install the Unicode libraries also.
You find them in the download area (where you got the CCMS patch) under "UCLIB". I assume this is AIX so you can also search for the file
UCLIB_3-20000978.SAR
extract it and put the files in the kernel directory.
Then logout and logon (the shell) and try again (or simply give a 'rehash' command).

Cann anyone help me with the following problem.
Error in price at the time of creating SHC fro catalogue item
mentioned below article no. 0452202 then a pallet is to cost 3275,05 (you can only order min. 10 pallets).
The system multiplies up the price by 10 & 10 and at that moment I transfer the shopping trolley it multiplies up again.
The price for 10 pallets was gladly to be 32720,50 - Buttttttttttttt it turns into 3.272.050.
Please help me in providing a solution for this

This is the standard system response as of EBP 3.5 Support Package 05 or Note 569275.
This also depends on how you uploaded the price in the catalogs ->
For price details you should use the following characteristics:-
/ccm/price[1]#/ccm/amount /ccm/price[1]#/ccm/currency_code
Perhaps you have to maintain field pricechangeable in BADi-InterfaceIF_EX_BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER in method - ENRICH_ITEM_DATA. This will make sure you can edit the price_

Publish of product catalogue cancelled by system shutdown

Hi,
We have an issue in SRM 4.0 where the publication of the product catalogue was running when the system was shutdown.
The job has the status of cancelled in SM37 but the status of the catalogue publication is status 'R' (Running).
This stops this catalogue being published again as there is a check to see if it is already running at the start.
Has anyone got a fix for this or had a problem like this before ?

I'm not sure you are talking about SRM or CCM. If it is CCM please try /CCM/CLEANUP_UPDATE_STATUS program with status 03 parameter.

Elimination of screens for shopping with CCM catalog

Hello CCM seniors,
We have installed CCM 2.0 as an add on for SRM 4.0.
CCM and EBP are mountd on same server and same client.
CAT and CSE also share single client.
EBP to CCM integration is working fine.
i.e. user can select catalog items and can make shpooing cart.
Only when employee clicks on the catalog link(/ccm/master catalog in our case) in EBP portal ,
on the next screen he has to click on "Locale- EN" to proceed.
Since we are not using any language versions , we want to eliminate this screen for operational ease.
Also, as our catalog is SRM extracted one and the there is only one category, we want to avoid the next screen also
i.e. selection of subcategory to display the list of items.
To summerise what we are trying to achieve is that when the employee clicks on the catalog link in EBP -> shop application ,
he should directly get the list of items from the catalog.
Is it possible, if yes how?

we're using SRM 5.0 (SRM 5.5 Server) with CCM 2.0.
Is it possible to use wildcards in catalog search?
Are there any documents about wildcards in CCM ?

Hi
Yes TREX is mandatory for CCM2.0 (written in the master guide). Please restart the TREX server and retry, if this does not in your case.
I guess, There are two wildcard characters:
? stands for a single character
stands for a sequence of any combination characters of any length.

Can you extract 'keywords' from a pdf document?

Is there a way of extracting intelligent 'keywords' from a pdf document in order to use for cataloguing.
If not, is there any sotware available compatible with Adobe PDF document that can extract 'keywords' automatically?

CCM 2.0

Hi,
We are using SRM 5.0 SP 7, CCM 2.0 SP 7 and SAP_ABA 7.0 SP10
We are trying to transfer product master data from SRM to CCM. The data is getting successfully transferred from SRM to XI and SMXB_MONI in XI server shows successfully message but we are not able to see the Catalog id SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG in CCM. We checked the logs in SLG1 which shows as /CCM/CX_OBJECT_CREATION_FAILED .
The exception occurred at the following point:
Program /CCM/CL_SCHEMA_MANAGER========CP
Include /CCM/CL_SCHEMA_MANAGER========CM006
Table /CCM/D_UPD_STATE shows the entry of the catalog SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG in CCM but with errors.
As anyone faced this issue before?

CCM 2.0: Value to express order unit in Kilogram

We have SRM 5.5 with CCM 2.0. In the csv file that we upload in the supplier catalogue we enter KG or KGM in the field /CCM/ORDER_UNIT. When we transfer this reference to the shopping basket in the SRM, the system generates an error.

CCM 2.0 Log in problem

Hi,
We are using the CCM 2.0 and have an issue in which when the user clicks on the catalogue link in order to shop they receive a page that requests the user to log in. The configuration in SRM seems to be OK and all the relevant services and catalogue call structure has all the correct data user details and passswords. I am not sure why this happens! Could this be linked to netweaver?
Trex server is running fine and I have been through all the config to ensure it is correct.
