CCM 4.1(3) AD integration

Hello, colleagues.
I am installing CCM 4.1(3) AD integration plug-in, providing all the settings as needed, the plugin is installed successfully, without errors. After server restart the integration works fine, but it is trying to look for users in the ou = xxxx, regardless of the fact that during installation I have chosen ou = yyyy as a User Search Base. Actually the question of how to make the search for users in yyyy organisation unit? Or the whole domain?

Yes, several times.
Every time i specify ou = yyyy as a User Search Base and after successful installation it is still trying to search for users in ou = xxxx.
Parameters:
Cisco Directory Configuration DN: ou=Cisco, dc=zzz, dc=zzz,dc=zzzz,dc=ru
Directory Administrator DN: cn=DC Manager, ou=CCMUsers, ou=yyyy, dc=zzz, dc=zzz,dc=zzzz,dc=ru
User Search Base: ou=yyyy,dc=zzz, dc=zzz,dc=zzzz,dc=ru
User Creation Base: ou=CCMUsers,ou=yyyy, dc=zzz, dc=zzz,dc=zzzz,dc=ru
User Search Attribute: sAMAccountName

Queue Stucked - Exactly Once Async Abap Proxy

Hi Guys
I have several JMS->Xi->Abap Proxy scenarios in my production environment, the Abap Proxies servers are in a SAP IS-OIL 4.72 with a SAP WEBAS 6.20 and the XI is the XI 3.0.
Some of the Abap Proxies calls are asynchronous, and when one of the abap proxies has an sysfail error (for example), it stuck the entire queue, and this is causing some problems, for the other calls (interfaces) that are not being processed until the "bad" abap proxy is "solved".
I know that we can schedule a job that reprocess the call but imagine that the problem is still not solved, I still have the other calls waiting, ie, I am putting in jeopardy some interfaces because of one error.
It seems that this queue management happens because SAP IS-OIL is treating all asynchronous AbapProxy calls as EOIO calls.
1. Is my previous assumption correct???
2. How can I invoke from SAP XI3.0 an asynchronous Abap Proxy just with EO quality of service???
3. How can I setup the CCMS to alert when a queue is stucked (please be aware that I have a ERP SAP has a SAP WEBAS 6.20)???

Are you saying that has to be the 3rd party that has to say to Xi that the async call that XI will have to do to SAP ISOIL has to be EO??? How can this be done?? Is in the Message Interfaces configuration - Integration Repository???
Remember that I'm having queue problems in SAP ISOIL, where the abap proxies are processed !!!

Thanks a lot for the links, it seems that is good head start.
However I'm concerned that because my SAP ISOIL has the SAP WEBAS 6.2 (old Integration Engine), the CCMS features that are explained in the links will not work in the old version. Remember that I've probably have to configure the CCMS in XI3.0 (my integration platform) and SAP IS-OIL my main system, where all abap proxys are run and called, where IDOCS are sent and received, ie, is the point of origin and final point of all my integrations...
That's why I'm so concerned about the stopped queues in SAP ISOIL, I really need full availability in this system (queues), I am talking around 10.000 messages being sent and received... and in the near future will be around 100.000 messages for sure...

Unable to initialize the Live Cache Instance

I have installed SCM 4.0 with windows environemnt and SQL as database.
I have installed Livecache in the same box and created an LCA instance
When i tried to initilise LCA instance i am getting the following error.
Name of the Database Connection:
LCA_MYSYS
Database User in the Integration Information:
SAPR3
Database User in the User Profile Container (UPC):
SAPR3
Type of the Database User in the UPC:
DBA
Database user in the UPC is not of the type "SAP".
Define User in the UPC as SAP User:

could any body help me guiding and providing suitable information about Livecache and how to integrate with SCM.

-> To make sure that the lcinit script works with the correct user 'SAPR3' you should run the command to set the liveCache user in the upc container. In a dbmcli session (e.g. in LC10 -> tools). To set the 'SAPR3' user run dbm command:
 user_sap sapr3,sap
 ( please see the note 616555 for more details ).
-> Please update the output of the dbm command after that:
 user_get SAPR3
-> Please run 'dbmcli help' & see if you have the 'user_delete' command listed, then you could run following dbm commands on the liveCache server MYSYS:

To get clear on your further problems additional information needed:
-> What is the version of the liveCache?

-> Check errors in the current knldiag file < located in the liveCache

If you are the official SAP customer, I recommend you to create the ticket to SAP on 'BC-DB-LVC' queue!

Integration between CCM and UC520

Hi All,
We need to establish a connection between CCm release 4.0 and UC 520.
configuration from CCM side: we configure a H323 gateway to go directly to UC520
configuration from UC side: it's a simple dial peer
dial-peer voice 1000 voip
destination-pattern 6567
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.0.100.90
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
we can call normally from CM to UC, but from UC to CM the call failed.
Could you help on this please.

Make sure you have the command:
h323-gateway voip bind sr
That IP needs to match what you configured in CUCM under H323 GW.
EDIT: just as an FYI this is NOT supported.

CCM integration with EBP

Hi All,
We are running on SRM 4.0 (Classic Scenario).We have finished with EBP Configuration.Now we want to start with CCM.We have installed CCM 2.0 on Client 000.
Ideally how should the CCM be installed and how should we start the CCM configuration?Also,what all points should be considered regarding the CCM-XI integration?ALso,what is the timeline we can propose for completing the Complete configuration(EBP-XI-CCM)?

The process that you have written for CCM is very closely related to the same thing that I need to do.
I recently got an enhancement which is for Catalog Options. We are working on SRM 5.0 System. I haven't dealt with CCM before.
I need to create a CSV file. I got a list of the fields like /CCM/ORDER_UNIT, /CCM/PRICE, /CCM/PRODUCT_GROUP and some others. I am told to get these fields out of table: MARA. I will be doing an extract from R/3. The material types used are: HAWA and NLAG and I'll be loading the deltas.
In addition to these fields, I also need a few where the values will be generated programatically. For example, there should be a PICTURE field where the value is a fixed URL, followed by the material ID, followed by a ".jpg" something like this: www.yahoo.com/pictures/xyzpdq.jpg
And the Category ID which will be of the form material ID followed by a "#" and a string that will be given by the Functional person, something like this: xyzpdq#ccsd06
Can you please explain to me the process and how to go about doing it. What would I exactly have to do here?

For the application component it gives SWCV not found,I think my GUID for SWCV is not matching with SWCV in SLD.

From any phone registered to the 5.0 system, go into the directories, then choose Personal Address Book. After you login, then you can choose either the address book or the fast dials. You would need to have some sort of SQL genius with LDAP and possibly META backgrounds to link all this in the background. I have researched it and it's ugly. Doing all this, and not voiding your TAC access.....
I think your answer is somewhere is META or SQL replication of certain information... I don't even think a 3rd party password sycning software would help, but maybe. I have seen some items done with 7960 and using your magnetic badge to login to Extension Mobility. Pretty much bypassing the whole "PIN" and Login. (RS232 port on the phone)

Yes, you can have a basic IVR with CUC, no one can tell you how to design your CUC, that's up to you and your requirements.
All you need are call handlers, caller input and greetings.
If you need someone to do all this for you, engage with a local Cisco partner.

Nice recording and CCM integration

Ccm microsoft Ad integration, IP phone asking username password

Hi,
We've CCM 3.5 recently integrated with Microsoft AD. When any change is made in AD, it is reflected on CCM as well. I believe integration is fine.
Now, whenever any IP phone user presses Directory / Services button, it is asking for username password. I am not sure what to punch in to get access. This is started after integration only.
Anyone has any clue what and where to look at?

Have you ever modified any of the web pages on the CallManager server?
[inner_silence] No. All URL's are pointing to CCM IP.
What are the URL's defined for Services and Directory buttons in your Enterprise Parameters...? Have these been changed from the defaults?

When CallManager was using the inbuilt DC Directory.. what was the UserID field? Now that it is integrated to AD, what is it? Is it the same?
[inner_silence] AD server user name/password is in use now. Previously CCM Admin username password was in use.
If it is different, then your phone services for everybody will be out of sync, i.e. you would have to change the UserID in all of these.
Finally, you didnt upgrade CallManager at the same time? :)

Additional info: IP Phone asks for username/password and not username/PIN. Tried combinations of username/password/PIN but no success.

AMC technology software cti integration with CCM

   Would like to know the following,
   1) Have an agent when call local calls and mobile numbers from a Cisco ip phone, able to get through but if uses the AMC technology software unable to get through the numbers
   2) Have another agent when call local calls and mobile numbers from a Cisco ip phone able to get through but uses the AMC technology software only able to get through by the area code with the number.
   3) Can confirmed that calling search space are working fine
    4) Any documenation in Cisco or AMC on troubleshooting issues ?

Dear Alan,
Based on your above request it seems like you are using TAPI Integration, if not, Please do specify the CTI Integration configured in AMC Technology software.
In case of TAPI integration you should be able to find the log "CTITAPIModule.log" on AMC Technology MCIS Server Box that would provide the detailed TAPI messages, with the exact number dialed and the error messages if any. This should be a good starting point for trouble shooting.

I have emailed this to you.
The senario you want in MasterDataInclusionInCaralogOnWAS700 (or 640 dependant).
Once the material have been replicated from R3 you run transaction BP_CCM_TRANSFER to transfer these to CCM. This then goes through XI into your CCM catalog, and in need you can publish these automatically.
